Kamala Harris’s recent interview with 60 Minutes appears to have been even more problematic than initially reported. The program has been accused of selectively editing the vice president’s responses to make her appear more coherent and polished.
In a move raising serious ethical concerns, 60 Minutes reportedly spliced together parts of Kamala’s answers, swapping out her original, seemingly confusing response with a completely different sentence from another part of the interview.
This editing wasn’t minor; the show allegedly replaced Kamala’s answer on Israel with a comment she made earlier in the interview, creating the impression of a more thoughtful and articulate reply.
Manipulating interview footage like this undermines the credibility of journalism. It’s not about reporting the truth—it’s distorting reality.
