(DC Pundit) – Melania Trump is not holding back when it comes to Jill Biden. In a chat with French news outlet Paris Match, the soon-to-be-returning First Lady spilled some tea, and it’s causing quite a stir.
Melania shared that Jill came calling after the assassination attempt on her husband’s life in October. But here’s the kicker – she’s not sure if Jill really meant it. Why? Well, Melania’s got some thoughts on that.
“I do question, however, whether Jill’s concern was genuine, as a few days prior she referred to my husband as ‘evil’ and a ‘liar,'” Melania told Paris Match. Ouch!
Melania pointed out how all the harsh words from Democratic bigwigs and mainstream media led to someone actually trying to take out her husband. “It was obvious that the onslaught of rhetoric from Democrat leaders and the mainstream media was so deeply embedded in our nation’s consciousness it prompted an attempt to assassinate Donald,” she said.
Melania admitted she was relieved when Donald came out of that Pennsylvania rally unscathed, but she’s not happy about the political climate that led to it. “They want Donald out. They won’t stop. Has the concept of ‘respect’ become antiquated?” she asked. Good question, Melania!
“The Democrat political engine peddles harsh words, vile names, and labels our nation’s 45th president ‘a threat to democracy,'” Melania said. And she’s not wrong – some folks are making light of a pretty serious situation. “People today are so desensitized they actually joke about killing a former US president,” she pointed out. “It is undeniable that this type of speech created a toxic political environment.”
Now, about that tea date with Jill Biden – Melania’s team made it clear she’s not going. “Mrs. Trump will not be attending today’s meeting at the White House. Her husband’s return to the Oval Office to commence the transition process is encouraging, and she wishes him great success,” they said in a statement.
Word on the street is that Melania’s still sore about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago back in 2022. Can’t say I blame her – that’s gotta leave a bad taste in your mouth.
It’s worth noting that Melania did meet up with Michelle Obama after the 2016 election, but she skipped tea with Jill in 2020. Seems like there’s no love lost between these two First Ladies.
