(DC Pundit) – Well, folks, it looks like we’ve got ourselves a good old-fashioned “he said, she said” situation brewing between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. And this time, it’s all about… McDonald’s?
Yep, you heard that right. During a recent appearance on Fox & Friends, Trump dropped a bombshell, claiming that Harris fibbed about her stint flipping burgers at the Golden Arches.
“She lied,” Trump stated bluntly when asked about Harris’s alleged McDonald’s experience. The former president didn’t mince words, adding, “We checked it out.”
Now, before you think this is just Trump being Trump, he claims they did some serious sleuthing. According to him, they even tracked down a long-time manager at the specific store Harris mentioned. The manager’s response: “No, she never worked here.”
Of course, Team Harris isn’t taking this lying down. They’ve specified that she worked at a McDonald’s in Alameda, California, during the summer of 1983. Sounds pretty specific, right?
But here’s where it gets interesting. Breitbart News, in what they call a “deep dive report” into Harris’s background, points out there are only two McDonald’s in Alameda. When they reached out to the Harris campaign for clarification on which location she worked at, crickets. No response.
“She even picked a store,” Trump emphasized, highlighting the details of Harris’s claim.
Now, I’m not saying working at McDonald’s is a make-or-break qualification for the presidency. But if this turns out to be true, it’s a pretty bizarre thing to fib about, don’t you think?

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time politicians have been caught embellishing their resumes. Remember when Hillary Clinton claimed she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to climb Mount Everest? Turns out, she was born six years before his famous ascent. Oops.
