URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Texas State Rep. James Talarico, fresh off his Democratic primary win for U.S. Senate, loves to wave the Bible around like a campaign prop. The 36-year-old Austin Democrat, a former middle school teacher now chasing a divinity degree at a Presbyterian seminary, bills himself as a faith warrior taking on “Christian nationalism.” But for Bible-believing Republicans and evangelicals, who represent the backbone of American Christianity, his sermons and soundbites are a perversion of God’s Word. It’s as if he’s auditioning for the role of “Leftist Theologian,” cherry-picking verses to prop up progressive politics while ignoring the parts that don’t fit his script.
Talarico’s rise from classroom to Capitol has been fueled by viral moments where he blends faith with far-left talking points. But when you stack his statements against what most Christians actually believe—rooted in the unchanging truth of Scripture—it starts looking less like devotion and more like distortion.
Take abortion, for starters. On “The Joe Rogan Experience” in July 2025, Talarico claimed the Bible is silent on this issue, pointing to the Annunciation in Luke 1 where the angel Gabriel asks for Mary’s consent before the incarnation. He spun it as proof that “you cannot force someone to create,” essentially green-lighting abortion as a matter of choice. He repeated this on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in early 2026, insisting the Bible has “nothing to say about abortion.” And in a New York Times opinion video, he doubled down, saying Christians shouldn’t fixate on it since it’s not mentioned. Funny how he skips over Exodus 20:13’s clear “Thou shalt not kill,” or Psalm 139:13-16 where God forms life in the womb, or even Luke 1:41-44 showing the unborn John leaping for joy at Jesus’ presence. For the millions of pro-life Christians who see every child as sacred, this isn’t biblical, it’s a convenient lie.

Then there’s his stance on LGBTQ issues and gender. Talarico has said the Bible never mentions gay marriage or same-sex relationships, telling Rogan there’s no “historical, theological, or biblical basis” for opposing them. In a 2021 Texas House speech against a bill protecting women’s sports, he declared “God is non-binary” and that trans kids are “made in God’s own image,” perfect as they are. He even called Jesus a “radical feminist” in a church sermon. Most Christians, guided by Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27, and Genesis 2:24, see this as a direct clash with God’s design for sexuality and family. It’s like he’s reading a different book altogether, perhaps one edited by the cultural elite.
🚨 INSANE: Texas Democrat Senate Nominee James Talarico previously suggested that the Bible supports abortion, says there is no Biblical basis for Christians to be anti-abortion.

Talarico: They’re going to call me a radical leftist.
Also Talarico: Trans abortions, God is non-binary, six genders, no prisons.

His views on salvation add another layer of head-scratching. Quoting Matthew 25, he said Jesus judges us by “feeding the hungry, healing the sick, welcoming the stranger”—making it sound like good works punch your ticket to heaven. On X, he’s posted videos stressing aid for immigrants and the poor as the key to judgment. He even claimed some atheists are “more Christ-like” than Christian lawmakers, and his faith isn’t “anti-gay.” Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly states salvation is by grace through faith, not works, so no one can boast. Talarico’s spin reduces the Gospel to a social services checklist, ignoring sin and redemption through Christ.
And on politics, Talarico warns against theocracy, calling it the “most dangerous form of government” in videos and sermons, while fusing his own faith with left-wing causes. He rejects blending religion and state—except when it suits progressive goals. Conservatives see this as hypocritical: true faith shapes all of life, including standing against cultural shifts that mock God’s order.
Faithful patriots know the real threat is watering down God’s word to fit the times. True faith defends Biblical truth, not trends. Stand firm, America’s soul depends on it.
