(DC Pundit) – Newly declassified FBI records have just handed Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) a very public reminder that apparently, national security isn’t exactly his strong suit. According to the FBI’s own 302 interview summaries, Swalwell is a likely conduit for leaks aimed at damaging President Donald Trump. And of course, he wasn’t flying solo; disgraced Adam Schiff was along for the ride.

One whistleblower didn’t bother with polite phrasing: “Rep. Swalwell has been the source of a lot of leaked information and had to be counseled to be more careful.” Translation: Swalwell’s loose lips might just have endangered the country. But did he pause to reflect or take responsibility? Of course not. He went straight to the tried-and-true Democrat playbook: panic, post, and pretend like reality is optional.

Swalwell unleashed a series of unhinged social media rants aimed at Kash Patel and anyone else reporting the story — because when national security allegations hit, the best response is always to flail publicly.

Critics called him out, and what did Swalwell do? He blamed reporters for not quoting an Inspector General report he claims clears him. “And when reporters fall for this, and don’t give full context (like an IG report saying this is all BULLSHIT) the death threats roll in. Great work!” Swalwell seems to believe that as long as he tweets angrily enough, he can erase the fact that he’s been accused of leaking classified intel.

This is classic Swalwell. His long-running, highly inappropriate relationship with a Chinese intelligence asset should have ended his political career years ago. Instead, Democratic leadership protected him, kept him on the House Intelligence Committee, and gave him more access to sensitive information than most Americans can imagine.

Schiff spent years weaponizing classified briefings to smear Trump, and now Swalwell is following the same playbook: leak, deflect, and attack anyone who points out the obvious. Democrats love to talk about integrity, but when it comes to protecting their own, suddenly standards of decency and security become optional.

Meanwhile, Swalwell’s tantrums are a free PR boost for his base, but for the rest of America, it’s a reminder of how low the bar has been set for D.C. Democrats. Imagine a Republican caught leaking classified information while cozying up to a foreign operative — the media would have called for resignations, impeachment, and probably a public flogging. But for Swalwell? Crickets.

With Kash Patel putting the FBI’s own records on the table, this isn’t spin, opinion, or right-wing hyperbole. It’s the government’s own documentation saying Swalwell was too reckless to be trusted with secrets. And yet, the Democrats’ response will likely be the same as always: shrug, ignore, and hope the rest of us forget by the next scandal.

In Washington, D.C., accountability is optional, as long as you’re on Team Democrat.

(DC Pundit) – A bombshell email discovered by investigative journalist John Solomon has exposed what appears to be one of the most brazen examples of political interference in federal law enforcement in modern American history. The smoking-gun document shows Obama’s Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates explicitly commanding FBI agents to terminate their criminal corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

The revelation comes courtesy of documentation uncovered by FBI Director Kash Patel, who has proven to be quite the treasure hunter when it comes to finding embarrassing Obama-era communications.

We are all aware of Hillary Clinton’s private email server scandal. Clinton conducted official State Department business on a non-government server, a move that allowed her to conceal her Clinton Foundation’s pay-to-play operations while serving as Secretary of State. Judge Royce Lamberth described Clinton’s private email usage as “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.”

The investigation that Yates ordered terminated was no minor fishing expedition. According to Solomon’s reporting, this was a fully predicated criminal case running simultaneously in New York, Washington D.C., and Little Rock. FBI agents were examining whether Hillary Clinton orchestrated an influence-peddling scheme during her tenure as Secretary of State, essentially running the State Department like a personal ATM for Clinton Foundation donors.

According to emails previously obtained by Judicial Watch, Clinton provided preferential treatment to Foundation donors while occupying one of the nation’s highest offices. The FBI had substantial reason to believe that foreign nationals and wealthy contributors were purchasing access and favors from the State Department in exchange for massive donations to the Clinton Foundation. Meanwhile, the Obama Justice Department apparently perfected the art of looking the other way.

The corruption runs deeper than initially apparent. Then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, whose wife conveniently received campaign funding from a Clinton ally while he personally attended meetings to solicit those very funds, reportedly locked down the investigation. McCabe demanded that no investigative actions proceed without his personal authorization – a remarkable coincidence of timing and authority.

FBI agents approached four separate U.S. Attorneys’ offices under the Obama administration seeking assistance with subpoenas, grand juries, and evidence collection. Three of the four offices refused outright to provide help. When federal prosecutors decline to assist FBI agents investigating potential high-level corruption, one has to wonder what kind of conversations were happening behind closed doors.

The most damning evidence, according to Solomon, is the document that Patel brought to light. In unmistakable terms, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates directly instructed the FBI to “shut it down” regarding the Clinton Foundation investigation. This directive effectively granted the Clintons immunity from further legal scrutiny during the critical 2016 election cycle.

One might call this a stunning abuse of prosecutorial discretion, but that would suggest there was any discretion involved rather than what appears to be a calculated political decision.

Solomon reports that several prosecutors have now stepped forward, expressing willingness to cooperate with Congress and Trump-aligned investigators. Patel reportedly possesses additional explosive emails from Obama-era officials, which he plans to share with lawmakers. Given the current political landscape with President Trump back in office, these prosecutors likely feel more confident about speaking truthfully without fear of career retaliation.

The timeline tells its own story. Joe Biden’s Justice Department formally terminated the Clinton Foundation investigation in August 2021, after the FBI mysteriously abandoned their probes. “In August 2021, the F.B.I. received what is known as a declination memo from prosecutors and as a result considered the matter closed,” The New York Times reported.

And naturally, all the evidence has been conveniently destroyed forever. Nothing suspicious about that timing whatsoever.

The question now becomes: what other investigations were terminated to protect the political elite? If Sally Yates was willing to put her instructions in writing regarding the Clinton Foundation, one can only imagine what other communications are waiting to be discovered.

(DC Pundit) – CNN’s race-baiting panel got a front-row lesson in reality when former Democrat and fitness guru Jillian Michaels refused to play along with the Left’s predictable script on slavery, history, and the Smithsonian’s exhibits.

For context, the Trump administration is conducting a comprehensive review of the Smithsonian Institution in preparation for next year’s 250th anniversary of America’s founding. The review aims to direct national museums and related exhibits to highlight “the unity, progress, and enduring values that define the American story.” In other words, the Smithsonian will be reminded that history is more than a grievance diary.

During a segment featuring Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky, Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), political analyst Scott Jennings, and CNN host Abby Phillip, Michaels methodically dismantled the notion that every historical and cultural issue can be summed up as “white people bad.”

The fireworks ignited when Roginsky accused conservatives of trying to “whitewash” history to appease the “MAGA base.” Michaels didn’t skip a beat, pointing out that reviewing biased exhibits isn’t erasing history; it’s about removing the political propaganda disguised as education in taxpayer-funded museums.

Roginsky, apparently not used to pushback, cited slavery as a weapon in her argument. Michaels pushed back harder, noting the factual inconsistencies in the Smithsonian’s narratives, such as framing Cuban migration under Fidel Castro as an issue of “white people bad” rather than the reality of escaping a brutal communist regime. Torres, predictably, jumped in to declare America’s history a “system of white supremacy,” clearly sticking to the Left’s playbook. Michaels didn’t flinch.

CNN host Abby Phillip tried to turn the conversation into another round of racial blame, accusing Michaels of “litigating who benefited from slavery.” Michaels fired back, calling out the panel for straw-manning her and turning history into a tool for progressive messaging.

By the end of the segment, Michaels had done what few can in a liberal media setting: expose the Left’s playbook live on national television. Every issue was being twisted into a racial controversy, revisionist history was presented as fact, and any attempt at reasoned discussion was immediately shut down if it didn’t fit the narrative.

While the Left insists on dividing Americans into oppressors and victims, figures like Michaels are proving that truth, facts, and common sense still have a place, even on networks that prefer a one-sided story.

The segment also underscores why initiatives like the Smithsonian review are necessary. Americans deserve museums that reflect historical truth, celebrate achievements, and educate without an agenda. As Michaels demonstrated, challenging the Left’s revisionist lens isn’t radical—it’s patriotic.

(DC Pundit) – Beto O’Rourke just can’t help himself. The perennial Democrat candidate, and frequent election night disappointment, has once again gifted Republicans with exactly the kind of soundbite that reminds voters why handing the left the keys to government is a bad idea.

Over the weekend, the failed Senate and presidential hopeful decided to go on yet another public tirade, this time pushing the idea that Democrats are going to claw their way back into power “no matter what it takes.” You’d think someone with his track record would at least try to sound strategic, but subtlety has never been Beto’s strong suit.

In a clip now making the rounds on social media, O’Rourke decided to spice things up with a little sports analogy, comparing politics to a basketball game. His point? He claims Republicans “aren’t playing by the rules everyone agreed to.” And then came the part that’s raising eyebrows — and probably champagne glasses in GOP circles. With a dismissive shrug, he declared: “Who cares about the f**king rules right now?”

Ah yes, the party of “saving democracy” casually tossing aside the concept of rules when they become inconvenient. At least he’s honest about it. Democrats have been lecturing the country for years about norms, civility, and the sacred “rule of law,” but when push comes to shove, it seems their playbook says, “rules are for the other team.”

Meanwhile, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, no stranger to calling out political theater, is reportedly losing patience with O’Rourke’s grandstanding. It’s not hard to see why. For Paxton and other Texas Republicans, O’Rourke’s rhetoric isn’t just talk; it’s part of a larger Democrat strategy that relies on bluster, outrage, and selective enforcement of the very laws they claim to defend.

The irony, of course, is that O’Rourke’s comments are meant to rally the left into believing they’re the noble underdogs fighting corruption and unfairness. But in reality, he’s confirming what conservatives have been saying for years: when Democrats can’t win under the rules, they’ll change them — or ignore them entirely.

If Beto thinks this kind of rhetoric is going to convince swing voters in Texas, or anywhere else for that matter, he’s sorely mistaken. All it’s doing is reinforcing the perception that Democrats are willing to trample over any law, precedent, or principle that stands between them and power.

So yes, Beto O’Rourke may be on a roll, but it’s the kind of roll that leads straight downhill, with Republicans happily waving as he speeds by.

(DC Pundit) – Washington, D.C. has been buzzing with protests ever since President Donald Trump announced he was taking a sledgehammer to the city’s crime problem by federalizing its police force. But here’s the real question: how much of the outrage is genuine, and how much is staged?

Turns out, the answer may be leaning heavily toward “staged drama.” A company that literally sells protesters says business is booming, with demand in D.C. exploding by 400 percent in just a few months.

Fox News Digital reports that “a crowd rental company has seen a massive uptick in inquiries regarding its services in Washington, D.C., amid President Donald Trump’s move to federalize the police force in the nation’s capital. ‘Right now, D.C. inquiries are up roughly 400% compared to the same period in 2024,’ Crowds on Demand CEO Adam Swart told Fox News Digital, adding that the time period he is referencing is May to July 2024. The company always sees a spike in requests during what Swart calls high-stakes political moments.”

You have to love the irony here. The very same media outlets breathlessly covering these demonstrations as if they’re a groundswell of righteous citizen anger never seem to mention the possibility that the “citizens” might be on the clock. They’re too busy zooming in on the signs and chants to ask the most obvious question: are these real activists or weekend employees with a clipboard and a contract?

Crowds on Demand has made headlines previously for its ability to conjure up ready-made “movements” for a fee, whether for political, corporate, or entertainment purposes. And while they insist they don’t disclose clients, the timing here isn’t exactly subtle. Trump announces a major law-and-order push in one of the most dangerous cities in America, and — surprise — the streets are suddenly filled with conveniently camera-ready protest mobs.

Of course, the left loves this sort of thing. It creates the illusion of overwhelming opposition, hoping that optics can do what their failed policies can’t: slow down Trump’s momentum. But unlike in Democrat-run cities where photo-ops pass for progress, Trump’s approach is about results, not theatrics. He’s not interested in how something “looks” on TV — he’s focused on how it works in real life. And his supporters know that cleaning up the capital means confronting both the criminals on the streets and the political operatives trying to protect them.

In the end, the fact that a “protest-for-hire” industry is booming in response to Trump’s crackdown is telling. It’s proof that the opposition isn’t as grassroots as the media would like you to believe. When real citizens are upset, they show up because they care. When fake outrage is needed, someone writes a check.

And right now, in D.C., it looks like a lot of checks are being written.
