Omar’s $30 Million Scandal: Winery LLC Vanishes Just Days After Suspicious Wealth Disclosure “Fix”

(DC Pundit) – The financial saga surrounding Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar just took another deeply suspicious turn.

Omar’s husband Tim Mynett’s California-based winery venture, ESTCRU LLC — also known as eStCru Wines — has been officially dissolved. That wouldn’t be particularly newsworthy on its own, except for one rather glaring detail: the LLC was terminated just nine days after Omar quietly amended her financial disclosures, slashing her reported household wealth from potentially millions down to somewhere between $18,000 and $95,000. Nothing to see here, folks.

The whole mess came to a head in February when House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer sent a pointed letter to Mynett demanding answers about a stunning overnight wealth explosion. The letter stated: “Financial disclosure forms, filed by your wife Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, show eStCru LLC and Rose Lake Capital LLC, which you hold ownership stakes in, went from being worth as much as $51,000 in 2023 to as much as $30 million in 2024. Given that these companies do not publicly list their investors or where their money comes from, this sudden jump in value raises concerns that unknown individuals may be investing to gain influence with your wife.”

A jump from $51,000 to $30 million in a single year. For a winery. That nobody had ever heard of.

Omar’s office scrambled to explain the massive discrepancy away, blaming an “accounting error” tied to business liabilities that allegedly created a “misleading picture of far greater wealth.” She amended her disclosure on March 26, 2026. Then, nine days later on April 4, 2026, ESTCRU LLC was officially terminated by the state of California — powers, rights, and privileges gone, business formally dissolved.

Minnesota State Senator Michael Holmstrom sounded the alarm on X, posting the official “Certificate of Cancellation – LLC Termination” for ESTCRU LLC, Entity Number 202018810577. The termination document was signed by Mynett’s business partner, former DNC adviser Will Hailer.

An accounting error. A $30 million swing. A sudden dissolution. Perfectly normal stuff.

(DC Pundit) – For decades, the Southern Poverty Law Center has positioned itself as America’s self-appointed arbiter of hatred, gleefully labeling conservative organizations as “hate groups” while raking in hundreds of millions of dollars in donations from liberals. Well, it turns out the organization that built its entire brand on fighting extremism has been charged with secretly funding it.

The Department of Justice announced that the far-left SPLC was charged by an Alabama grand jury with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.

According to the DOJ’s Office of Public Affairs, an indictment alleges that “starting in the 1980s, the SPLC began operating a covert network of individuals who were either associated with violent and extremist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, or who had infiltrated violent extremist groups at the SPLC’s direction. Unbeknownst to donors, some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website.”

The charges don’t stop there. The SPLC allegedly “funneled more than $3 million donated funds to individuals who were associated” with groups including the National Socialist Movement, United Klans of America, and the Aryan Nations-affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche didn’t mince words. “The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence,” he stated. “Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked.”

FBI Director Kash Patel also weighed in, posting on X that he and Blanche were “announcing an 11 count indictment” against the organization.

It’s worth noting that just last May, the SPLC labeled Turning Point USA a “hate group” and placed conservative commentator Charlie Kirk squarely in its crosshairs.

All this, while allegedly cutting checks to actual Klansmen behind closed doors. The audacity is truly something to behold.

(DC Pundit) – A 21-year-old Chinese national was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport on April 7 after federal authorities say he spent time near one of the most sensitive military installations in the United States, photographing restricted aircraft.

Tianrui Liang faces federal charges for allegedly violating laws that prohibit photographing defense installations without authorization, according to court documents filed in the Eastern District of New York. A warrant had been issued in Nebraska just days before his arrest, as he attempted to board an international flight out of the country.

The installation at the center of this case is Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, home to U.S. Strategic Command, about as sensitive as military real estate gets. Offutt hosts some of the most high-value aircraft in the American arsenal, including the RC-135 surveillance plane and the E-4B “Nightwatch,” better known as the military’s “doomsday plane” — the airborne command post designed to keep the chain of command operational in the event of a nuclear attack.

According to an FBI affidavit, a witness spotted Liang near the base holding “a camera with a telescopic lens.” When investigators caught up with him, he admitted to photographing several aircraft at the base, “including the RC-135 and the E-4B.” He claimed the images were for his “personal collection” and said he used a “planespotter” website to identify photography locations. Investigators weren’t buying it. “He knew it was illegal to take pictures of the planes on the ground,” the affidavit flatly states.

A review of his camera confirmed “numerous photographs of planes located on the OAFB flightline.” Authorities also allege Liang planned to travel to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma to photograph additional aircraft, including another E-4B.

Liang was a student at Glasgow University in Scotland and had traveled through Canada before entering the United States. The affidavit stops short of alleging he was acting on behalf of the Chinese government, though connecting those dots doesn’t exactly require an advanced degree in geopolitics.

(DC Pundit) – Fresh data from the Pew Research Center has put some hard numbers behind what conservatives have been warning about for years, and the results are striking. Nearly one in ten babies born in the United States in 2023 had illegal alien parents — the highest total since 2010, the second year of the Obama administration.

Of the 3.6 million babies born in the U.S. that year, approximately 320,000 were so-called “anchor babies” who would not qualify for birthright citizenship if President Donald Trump’s executive order is ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court. Drilling further into the data, about 260,000 of those babies would have been directly affected by Trump’s order. Roughly 245,000 were born to mothers who were illegal aliens with fathers who were neither citizens nor lawful permanent residents, while about 15,000 were born to mothers with temporary legal status in similar circumstances.

The Heritage Foundation’s Brandy Perez Carbaugh spelled out exactly what those numbers mean for American taxpayers. “Under the current erroneous birthright citizenship interpretation, these children automatically become citizens and unlock food stamps, welfare, specialized schooling for English education, and eventually college aid,” she told the New York Post. She added, “High volumes of illegal and temporary aliens are having children in the US because they are exploiting the decades-old erroneous interpretation that such children are US citizens.”

The legal battle over birthright citizenship is now before the Supreme Court in Trump v. Barbara, which challenges Trump’s executive order on the matter. The 14th Amendment, adopted in 1868 following the Civil War to guarantee citizenship rights to formerly enslaved people, contains the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” — language the Department of Justice argues was never intended to extend citizenship to children of those illegally present in the country.

The Supreme Court is expected to issue its ruling in late June or early July. For millions of Americans watching their tax dollars stretch thinner every year, that ruling cannot come soon enough.

Morris, who advised Bill Clinton going all the way back to his gubernatorial campaigns in Arkansas in the 1970s, is about as plugged into the inner workings of the Clinton operation as anyone alive. So when he speaks about what was happening behind closed doors in the Clinton White House, it’s worth paying attention.

When Newsmax host Rob Finnerty asked Morris to confirm the long-circulating rumor that Clinton had actually commissioned polling to gauge the political fallout of a potential divorce, Morris didn’t hesitate.

“Yes, actually several times,” Morris said. “It was a constant topic of conversation between then-President Clinton and myself, and the storminess of the Clinton marriage made that relevant.”

Several times. The sitting President of the United States kept going back to his pollsters to check whether the numbers would hold up if his marriage fell apart.

It does confirm what so many people have suspected for so long — that what the public witnessed between Bill and Hillary was nothing more than a carefully maintained political arrangement. Whatever genuine affection may have existed between them at some earlier point, the relationship that carried them through the White House years and beyond appears to have been powered largely by shared ambition and mutual political usefulness.

Not exactly the stuff of romance novels, but then again, nothing about the Clintons ever was.

(DC Pundit) – Everything about California Governor Gavin Newsom is carefully manufactured — the hair, the talking points, the perfectly rehearsed outrage. So, it should surprise absolutely no one that even his book sales aren’t what they appear to be.

Newsom’s new book is being celebrated by his allies and cheerleaders in the media as a bestseller. There’s just one problem: the primary reason it’s flying off shelves is because his own political action committee has spent upward of $1.5 million purchasing thousands of copies of it.

That’s one way to crack the New York Times bestseller list. It’s not exactly honest, but in the Newsom’s world, honesty has always been something of an optional accessory.

Not a single thing about this man is genuine. This is, after all, the same governor who lectured Californians about COVID restrictions while dining maskless at the French Laundry, one of the most expensive restaurants in the country. The same man who presides over a state with rampant homelessness, skyrocketing crime, and an exodus of residents and businesses fleeing his policies — yet somehow always finds time to position himself as the future of the Democratic Party.

Newsom probably sees nothing wrong with this. He certainly won’t be embarrassed about it. He’s incapable of feeling shame. He is a member of the same party that buses in paid supporters for rallies and protests, after all. Manufactured optics are just part of the playbook.

Will Democrats be foolish enough to nominate Newsom in 2028? Given that their last two presidential candidates were Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the answer just might be yes.

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump is rarely one to mince words, and when the Daily Mail asked him about the mounting sexual misconduct allegations against disgraced former California Congressman Eric Swalwell, he delivered his assessment with characteristic bluntness.

“He’s a sleazebag. Always has been,” Trump told the outlet. “He’s a long-timer, and he’s a bad guy. I don’t know anything about the charges, but he’s a bad guy.”

When asked specifically about the five women who have come forward accusing the former congressman of sexual assault, rape, and other deeply troubling behavior spanning years, Trump didn’t exactly rush to Swalwell’s defense. “We’ll see what happens,” the president said. “He’s always been a bad guy, he’s a corrupt politician, and everyone knows it, so it’s happening to him, and we’ll see what happens. Right? Let him go defend himself.”

Trump’s remarks came on the heels of yet another woman stepping forward with horrific claims. Lonna Drewes, 50, alleged that Swalwell — a married man — drugged, choked, and raped her in a West Hollywood hotel room in 2018. Drewes said she believed they were friends and that he was helping her fashion software company get off the ground. Instead, she claims he spiked her drink before sexually assaulting her, and said the experience left her “crying all the time” and destroyed her life.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has since opened an investigation into Drewes’ claims after she provided what she describes as damning texts, photographs, and journal entries. A second criminal probe was launched by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office into separate sexual assault allegations brought by a former staffer.

The avalanche of accusations has effectively ended Swalwell’s political career. He withdrew from the California governor’s race and resigned from Congress entirely, all while vehemently denying every allegation. He has since vanished from public view.

For a man who spent years positioning himself as a crusader for justice on Capitol Hill, the fall has been swift, steep, and, many conservatives would argue, long overdue.

(DC Pundit) – New York City residents who were excited about the city-owned grocery stores promised by their newly elected democratic socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani might want to get comfortable, because they are going to be waiting a very long time.

Mamdani, who swept into office on a platform heavy with progressive promises, is now delivering the kind of reality check that anyone with a basic understanding of government-run anything could have predicted from a mile away. The first new city-owned grocery store is going to cost upward of $30 million in taxpayer dollars — and won’t be ready until 2029. Three years. To build a grocery store. With other people’s money. Just think about how many hands that $30 million is going to pass through before a single can of soup hits a shelf.

There is apparently a second location planned for 2027, which will be housed in an existing building and won’t require new construction. So the bar has been set at “we found an empty building.” Inspiring stuff.

Here’s a question worth asking: how long would it take a private company, working with investors and actual financial accountability, to open a grocery store? The answer is certainly not three years and certainly not $30 million of public funds.

There’s another wrinkle worth noting. Mamdani is now saying the food at these stores will be cheaper — not free. Didn’t he campaign on the promise of free food? Funny how those bold campaign promises have a way of quietly shrinking once the election is won and someone hands you the actual budget numbers.

The people of New York City voted for this experiment in government-run commerce, and the next few years are going to deliver a very expensive, very slow-moving lesson in basic economics. Unfortunately, it’s the taxpayers who will be picking up the tab for that education.

Déjà Vu In D.C. — Democrats Roll Out ANOTHER 25th Amendment Push To Oust Trump

(DC Pundit) – House Democrats, bless their hearts, continue to demonstrate that their sole legislative priority isn’t addressing the concerns of everyday Americans — it’s going after President Trump, again and again. Their latest effort is a commission to evaluate whether Trump should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. Trump Derangement Syndrome is real, folks, and it is absolutely thriving on Capitol Hill.

The proposal is being led by New York Congressman Jamie Raskin — a man the White House has rather memorably described as “a stupid person’s idea of a smart person” — and would establish a 17-member panel to assess whether the president is mentally and physically capable of carrying out his duties. This, of course, about the same president who just won a second term in a decisive election victory. The voters apparently didn’t get the memo that he was unfit.

The bill has 50 Democratic co-sponsors and would rely on Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which allows the vice president, Cabinet, or a body created by Congress to declare a president unable to fulfill his responsibilities. Under the proposal, the commission would conduct a medical evaluation to determine whether Trump is “mentally or physically unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office.”

There’s one rather glaring problem with this entire exercise: Republicans control Congress and any action would still require approval from Vice President J.D. Vance. In other words, this legislation has roughly the same chance of succeeding as a snowball in August.

More than 85 Democrats called for Trump’s impeachment or removal following comments he made about bombing Iran, so this latest move fits right into the pattern of nonstop resistance the left has been performing since Trump first announced he was running for office on June 16, 2015.

The White House wasted no time firing back. Spokesperson Davis Ingle stated, “President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the past four years when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people.”

Hard to argue with that one.

(DC Pundit) – Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker and one of Washington’s most seasoned political operators, was asked a straightforward question on C-SPAN: did she or any other Democrats have advance knowledge of Eric Swalwell’s behavior? It’s a fair question, given that people across the country are now openly acknowledging that Swalwell’s conduct was something of an open secret in Democratic circles for years.

Pelosi, naturally, denied everything with the kind of practiced confidence that comes from decades of navigating Washington.

There’s just one problem. Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown — himself a longtime fixture of California Democratic politics — told a decidedly different story. Brown said he was not at all surprised by the allegations surfacing, and pointed directly to the fact that rumors had been swirling among Democratic leadership for quite some time.

“No, I’m not surprised frankly because there have been rumors after rumors after rumors, his colleague in Washington pretty much said that. That’s what Adam Schiff said, that’s what Nancy Pelosi said,” Brown stated plainly.

So according to Willie Brown, both Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi were aware of the rumors circulating about Swalwell. That makes Pelosi’s flat denial on C-SPAN rather difficult to square with reality. Either her memory is failing her, or she’s doing what she does best — looking straight into a camera and saying whatever is most politically convenient.

Of course, Nancy Pelosi would never lie, would she? The woman who famously tore up President Trump’s State of the Union address on live television in a fit of theatrical pettiness is now asking the public to simply take her word for it.
