UNDERCOVER VIDEO: Houston Socialists Caught Plotting To Sabotage ICE Operations

(DC Pundit) – A new undercover video is pulling the mask off far-left radicals in Houston, and what’s underneath isn’t pretty. Caught on camera, socialist activists were openly strategizing about how to obstruct, intimidate, and interfere with federal immigration enforcement. Their weapon of choice? Posing as so-called “legal advisors” to throw roadblocks in front of ICE agents doing their jobs.

The footage, captured by Texas Scorecard reporter Joseph Trimmer, shows these self-proclaimed revolutionaries declaring they are “at war” with the Trump administration. One activist spelled it out bluntly: “That’s where we think the real opportunity is, to get organized, because our enemy is really organized.” In other words — they’re not hiding their disdain for the law or the people enforcing it.

The groups involved include Ventura County Defensa and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a hardline communist organization that split from the Workers World Party in 2004. The PSL’s official mission is nothing short of a “revolutionary overthrow of capitalism” — because socialism has worked out so well in places like Venezuela and Cuba.

In the video, PSL activists openly brag about creating tense “standoffs” with ICE in California, celebrating moments when federal officers appeared uncomfortable. One operative described situations where agents chose to detain fewer suspects than planned — an outcome these activists consider a win. “I think it’s still kind of like… not infancy, maybe like toddler wise era, but it is growing,” she said, apparently grading their anti-law enforcement efforts on a preschool scale.

They also made it clear they’re willing to use more aggressive measures if they can get away with it. While careful not to say the “V-word” (violence), one activist encouraged a “range of tactics” to “do anything that we can to sort of slow down the process.” Translation: push boundaries until someone stops them.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of the video is the long-term plan these radicals are openly discussing. “So the goal is to eventually have enough numbers to where we can really take direct action and stop them,” one organizer admitted. This isn’t just about blocking a few deportations, it’s about building a movement big enough to paralyze federal immigration enforcement entirely.

This kind of behavior should alarm every law-abiding citizen, regardless of political affiliation. The U.S. is a nation of laws, or at least it’s supposed to be. If leftist agitators can harass and obstruct federal agents with no consequences, what’s to stop them from targeting other parts of law enforcement?

With President Trump back in the White House, restoring law and order has returned to the forefront. But as this video proves, the radical left isn’t going quietly. They’re organized, they’re determined, and they’re willing to skirt legality to push their open-borders agenda. That’s exactly why it’s critical for conservatives to remain vigilant and support policies — and leaders — committed to protecting our borders and enforcing our immigration laws.

Make no mistake: these are not just harmless protesters with quirky signs. These are organized socialist operatives working to undermine the rule of law in America. And they’re not even shy about saying it out loud.

Indictment: Top Democrat Busted Pocketing Nearly $600,000 In Dirty Bribes

(DC Pundit) – Democrat U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas is in deep trouble, the kind of trouble that makes you hire the most expensive lawyer you can find and pray you don’t end up swapping your tailored suits for an orange jumpsuit. Federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment accusing Cuellar and his wife of taking nearly $600,000 in bribes from two foreign sources: Azerbaijan’s state-owned oil company SOCAR and Mexico’s Banco Azteca.

The charges include money laundering, wire fraud, and even acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government, the same serious allegation that brought down Sen. Bob Menendez’s career in 2023 when he was accused of doing Egypt’s bidding. If true, this would make Cuellar less of a public servant and more of a paid spokesman for foreign powers.

According to prosecutors, the whole thing kicked off after a 2013 “cultural exchange” trip to Turkey and Azerbaijan. That visit, funded by a little-known Houston nonprofit, allegedly opened the door to years of shady dealings. Beginning in 2014, Cuellar’s wife’s shell companies started receiving $20,000 a month from a SOCAR-linked entity for “consulting work” that prosecutors say was basically nonexistent. Emails and text messages show Cuellar communicating directly with Azerbaijan’s ambassador, discussing contracts, payments, and legislation that just happened to benefit the oil-rich nation.

The other half of this two-for-one scandal involves Banco Azteca, a Mexican bank owned by Grupo Salinas. Prosecutors say the bank set up a sweetheart deal to pay Cuellar’s wife $12,000 a month, plus potential bonuses reaching $500,000, to “help with U.S. regulations.” That “help” allegedly included softening anti-money laundering rules and giving bank executives insider updates on federal legislation. Cuellar even reportedly asked the bank for input on the wording of bills.

To keep it all under wraps, the indictment claims Cuellar used middlemen, front companies, and instructed an associate, Florencio “Lencho” Rendon, to pay a Mexican official in cash. Rendon has already pleaded guilty to money laundering, as has Cuellar’s former chief of staff and campaign manager, Colin Strother, who prosecutors say helped route the payments.

When the FBI raided Cuellar’s home in 2022, the jig was up. But Cuellar, naturally, is claiming innocence, calling the indictment politically motivated. “My actions were consistent with the actions of many of my colleagues,” he declared, which is either a terrible defense or a stunning confession about the state of Congress.

Democrats in Washington are treading carefully. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called Cuellar a “valued Member” and reminded everyone he’s entitled to the presumption of innocence. But per caucus rules, Cuellar has already stepped down from his subcommittee leadership role.

If convicted, Cuellar could be looking at the end of a decades-long political career, and a long stretch of downtime courtesy of the federal prison system. More importantly, this case shines a bright spotlight on just how easily foreign governments can allegedly buy influence in Washington. The voters of Texas’ 28th District have to ask themselves: was their congressman representing them, or simply cashing in while working for someone else?

$3 Billion Bombshell: WOKE Energy Corp Accused Of Funding Radical ‘Diversity’ Agenda While Power Grid Crumbles

0

(DC Pundit) – The Christian Employers Alliance (CEA) has had enough of corporate woke posturing at the expense of public safety and ratepayer trust — and they’re naming names. Their latest target? Xcel Energy, a utility giant accused of funneling an eye-watering $3 billion into radical “diversity” projects while the power grid rots and wildfire risks skyrocket.

In a press release that reads more like a legal indictment than polite corporate criticism, CEA accused Xcel of using its monopoly power “to promote ideologically driven programs at the expense of reliability, affordability, and public safety.” CEA President Margaret Iuculano didn’t hold back, declaring, “This is not just bad business — it’s a betrayal of public trust.”

And she’s not exaggerating. According to Nerve News, the company allegedly redirected wildfire mitigation funds into pet projects for the United Nations’ climate agenda and racial equity initiatives, rather than preventing catastrophic disasters like the 2024 Smokehouse Creek fire, which torched one million acres. On top of that, Xcel reportedly strong-armed Colorado ranching families into handing over their land to make way for its green energy transformation. Nothing says “saving the planet” quite like bulldozing family ranches that have been around for generations.

CEA laid out its case bluntly:

1. Tying 30% of executive compensation to ESG metrics like carbon reduction.

2. Spending more than $3 billion on politically driven transmission projects while neglecting crumbling infrastructure.

3. Misusing federal wildfire mitigation money for UN-aligned and racial equity programs instead of fire prevention.

In other words, the company seems to have been running a political action committee with power lines on the side.

That’s why CEA is backing new legislation, the FAIR Act (H.R. 4603), introduced by Rep. John McGuire (R-VA). The bill’s mission is simple: get utilities back to doing their actual job — delivering safe, reliable, affordable energy — and stop them from playing social engineer with customer money. It would prohibit state regulators from approving rates for utilities engaged in certain DEI practices or ESG-based decision-making.

“Christian employers should take the lead in holding business leaders and government officials accountable,” Iuculano said. “Xcel Energy’s preoccupation with ESG initiatives is wasteful, abusive, and poor stewardship of God-given natural and financial resources.” She added that the FAIR Act will protect Christian employers from being punished for sticking to their convictions, a not-so-subtle shot at the corporate mob that tries to financially kneecap anyone who refuses to parrot their politics.

The Christian Employers Alliance isn’t some fringe group. Their mission is to defend Christian employers nationwide, fighting back against government overreach and pushing for policies that uphold religious freedom and biblical values in the workplace. With the FAIR Act, they’re now taking aim at the growing problem of corporations using their size and monopoly power to shove progressive ideology down ratepayers’ throats.

The bigger question? How many other utility companies are doing the exact same thing, and how many disasters like the Smokehouse Creek fire could have been avoided if they focused on keeping the lights on instead of keeping the U.N. happy?

MUST-WATCH: Worthless LA Mayor Karen Bass Whines Over ICE Raids, Claims They Are Crumbling The City Economy!

(DC Pundit) – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is once again making headlines, and surprise, surprise, it’s not for talking about the city’s actual problems. Instead, she’s complaining loudly about ICE raids, claiming they’re “destabilizing” the local economy. What you won’t hear from Bass? Any mention of the painfully slow rebuilding efforts after the devastating fires that tore through thousands of homes just months ago. Apparently, that’s not a priority when there’s an immigration narrative to push.

ABC Los Angeles reported on Wednesday that Mayor Bass blasted the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement, insisting these raids have hammered the city’s economy. “Businesses have seen a drastic reduction in immigrant customers,” she said, painting a dire picture of struggling families. “When one breadwinner, one wage earner, is gone and disappears—to survive in our city, economically, you need two, three and four wage earners to keep housing, to keep food on the table, to keep clothes on your kids,” Bass explained. “When that is taken away from you that just doesn’t destabilize a family, that destabilizes a neighborhood. It destabilizes businesses. It destabilizes a community.”

Look, nobody is denying that families depend on multiple incomes to make ends meet, but the mayor’s selective outrage conveniently ignores the legal aspect here. ICE isn’t out there just for sport—they are enforcing immigration laws. If you’re in the country illegally, there are consequences. And if your entire household depends on breaking those laws, well, that’s a problem for you, not the city.

Funny how Bass never shows this same urgency when it comes to the actual rebuilding of Los Angeles. Families lost their homes in the fires, and yet the mayor’s focus seems to be laser-targeted on bashing the Trump administration and ICE. Maybe if Bass spent as much time working on rebuilding neighborhoods as she does complaining about federal enforcement, the city would be in better shape.

Los Angeles, under progressive leadership, has been struggling with homelessness, crime, and economic stagnation for years. Blaming ICE raids for hurting the economy is an easy scapegoat for a mayor who seems out of touch with the city’s bigger problems.

Bass’s lament about “destabilizing neighborhoods” and “businesses” sounds more like a campaign talking point than a policy solution. The reality is that businesses thrive when laws are enforced and communities are safe. Illegal immigration creates a strain on public resources, and ignoring that only worsens the problem.

Meanwhile, conservative voices continue to call for stronger border security and law enforcement, arguing that a stable economy depends on respect for the rule of law. That message resonates with many Americans who want legal immigration, and not lawlessness.

As the city drifts further into chaos with little real progress on rebuilding or economic revival, Mayor Bass’s constant finger-pointing at ICE feels less like leadership and more like political posturing. Until she starts addressing the real issues head-on, the people of Los Angeles will keep paying the price.

Sydney Sweeney’s $10 Million Payday Awaits — Can She Save Bud Light?

(DC Pundit) – Sydney Sweeney might soon be swapping red carpets for beer taps — and cashing in big while she’s at it. After weeks of non-stop media attention, the “Euphoria” star could land a deal worth up to $10 million to become the new face of Bud Light, according to industry insiders.

Bud Light, owned by Anheuser-Busch, is desperate to bounce back from a PR disaster that saw its partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney backfire spectacularly. That campaign tanked their US sales by a staggering $1.4 billion and caused a 15.3 percent revenue drop. Clearly, they need a fresh face who can help steady the ship and win back conservative drinkers who bailed on the brand in droves.

Celebrity endorsement expert Christopher Chatham from Manatt consultancy told the Daily Mail that Sweeney’s proven commercial muscle makes her a prime candidate for Bud Light’s comeback. “Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign delivered undeniable commercial impact — denim sales surged and the brand’s stock climbed,” Chatham explained. “That kind of performance makes her a compelling candidate for Bud Light, especially as the brand considers options in responding to past criticism.”

He added, “Beer brands pay for reach, resilience, and relevance — and Sweeney delivers all three, so it would not be surprising if a Bud Light endorsement deal were to approach or potentially reach the seven-figure range.”

Conservative commentator and Fox News contributor Jimmy Failla was quick to jump on the bandwagon, suggesting in a Tuesday op-ed that Bud Light should “hire Sydney Sweeney to be your next pitchperson immediately because she’s everything your brand needs to get back on its feet.”

Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign, famously tagged “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans,” coincided with a 23 percent surge in the clothing brand’s stock — a fact that brands love to see. But of course, not everyone was clapping. Some on the left accused the ad of sneaky racial messaging, alleging the pun on “great genes” was a covert nod to her ancestry and raised eugenics-related alarm bells. You can almost hear the collective eye-roll.

For Bud Light, associating with Sweeney offers a golden opportunity to shake off the woke-induced chaos and reconnect with their core demographic: everyday Americans who don’t want their beer brands politicized via out-of-touch leftist policies. After all, a star with proven sales power and crossover appeal might just be the lifeline this struggling beer giant needs.

It’s ironic that while Bud Light’s left-wing gamble with Mulvaney nearly sunk the brand, a savvy young actress with a growing conservative fanbase could be the one to pull them back from the brink — and get paid handsomely for it.

In the brutal game of corporate image rehab, Sydney Sweeney could soon be holding more than just a cold one — she might be holding the key to Bud Light’s survival. Cheers to that.

Texas AG Ken Paxton Proclaims War On Democrats Who Fled — Every Runaway Seat Could Be Declared Vacant!

0

(DC Pundit) – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is taking no prisoners in his latest move to drain the swamp of runaway Democrats in the Lone Star State. On Friday, he filed a “historic” lawsuit with the Texas Supreme Court aiming to declare all 13 of the fugitive Democrats’ seats officially vacant.

“The rogue Democrat legislators who fled the state have abandoned their duties, leaving their seats vacant,” Paxton declared. “These cowards deliberately sabotaged the constitutional process and violated the oath they swore to uphold.”

In case there was any doubt, Paxton made it clear: “Their out-of-state rebellion cannot go unchecked, and the business of Texas must go on. I have asked the Texas Supreme Court to declare what has been clear from the beginning: that the runaway members have officially vacated their offices in the Texas House.”

This latest legal salvo follows Paxton’s earlier warning on Tuesday, when he vowed to seek judicial orders to strip seats from any Democrats who refused to return by the Speaker’s deadline to cast votes. It’s a no-nonsense approach that leaves zero room for political grandstanding or excuses about “protesting” by running off to another state.

Paxton’s assault on the Democrats isn’t stopping at just the legislators themselves. On Thursday, he launched an investigation into the Texas Majority PAC (TMP), a George Soros-funded political action committee that’s been busy funding and coordinating the escapades of these lawmakers.

This particular PAC has deep ties to former staffers of none other than Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke — the radical left-wing goof who loves to show up at all the wrong places. According to Paxton, TMP played a “coordinating role” in illegal fundraising and possibly bribing House members to keep the standoff going.

Just days before, Paxton kicked off a criminal probe into O’Rourke’s own PAC for unlawfully financing the Democrats’ flight. Reports revealed that O’Rourke’s PAC paid for the private jet that whisked the Texas Democrats off to Illinois, all so they could block the GOP’s redistricting efforts.

If you thought the Democrat lawmakers’ move was just a harmless stunt, think again. They not only abandoned their responsibilities but also relied on shady money from radical left-wing sources to fund their little rebellion.

Paxton’s moves send a clear message: Texas will not tolerate political grandstanding disguised as protest, especially when it involves abandoning the people who put you in office.

While the media may clutch their pearls and cry “democracy in danger,” Texans watching this play out know exactly who is standing for law and order—and who’s running away from it.

‘Superman’ Actor Trades Cape For Badge — Joins ICE To Defend America’s Immigration Laws (VIDEO)

(DC Pundit) – Dean Cain, best known for flying high as Superman on TV, has now taken his commitment to law enforcement off the screen and into reality by joining ICE as an honorary agent. The actor, who has been involved in law enforcement for nearly a decade as a deputy sheriff and reserve police officer, made his motivation clear in a recent Fox News interview: he’s standing with the men and women who enforce immigration laws because they deserve respect, not scorn.

Cain praised ICE agents as “amazing men and women,” highlighting their diversity. “They’re black, and they are brown and green and yellow and Japanese and whatever. They’re a cross-section of Americans,” he said. Cain emphasized that ICE officers are simply doing the job Congress assigned to them: deporting those who have broken immigration laws by entering the country illegally.

“If you’re a legal citizen here in this country, no worries, you’re great,” Cain explained. “But if you’re here illegally, you’ve broken the law to begin with, whatever the circumstances are. You had multiple opportunities to self-deport, and the fact that these men and women who are doing their jobs are getting vilified, I had to stand up with them and for them because I think it takes people standing up to change the culture.”

He doesn’t shy away from controversy. Cain openly supports ICE’s mission despite the emotional backlash it often attracts. “It’s controversial because people look at it emotionally as opposed to what the law is and what we’re trying to do here,” he said. “And then they don’t look at it critically and think, you know, ‘What does allowing 20 million people into this country illegally do to voting, to our services, our health support services, our social services?’ It destroys it. Social Security, Medicaid, it just destroys everything that we have worked for and built in this country for American citizens. As compassionate as we wanna be, we can’t take in everybody.”

Cain’s support for law enforcement heroes extends beyond ICE. He praised Daniel Penny, the former Marine acquitted in the controversial Jordan Neely case, and Dan Bongino, the FBI deputy director, calling them “American heroes.” Inspired by their stories and the work ICE is doing, Cain even filmed a recruitment video to help bolster the agency’s ranks.

In recognition of his support, the Department of Homeland Security announced Cain will soon be sworn in as an “honorary ICE Officer.” While the exact duties of this honorary title haven’t been detailed, Cain says his main goal is simple: to stand alongside the “brave” men and women tackling America’s immigration challenges.

In today’s climate, where law enforcement officers—especially those on immigration duty—face relentless criticism, Cain’s move is a refreshing dose of common sense and courage. He’s not just mouthing support; he’s rolling up his sleeves and showing the nation what standing for law and order looks like.

Has anyone else noticed how many celebrities rush to complain about immigration enforcement, but few put skin in the game? Dean Cain is different. With his law enforcement background and genuine respect for ICE agents, he’s showing that supporting the rule of law isn’t just talk—it’s action. In an age where political correctness often paralyzes common sense, Cain’s stance reminds us that protecting America’s borders and citizens should be a non-negotiable priority.

If only more public figures followed his example, maybe the national conversation would shift from emotional outrage to practical solutions. Until then, Cain is stepping up as a real-life hero off the screen, proving that sometimes the best way to fight the culture war is to stand up, suit up, and get involved.

Catholic Bishops Launch Disgusting Attack, Compare ICE Agents To Nazis And Slave Hunters

(DC Pundit) – U.S. Catholic bishops are pulling out all the rhetorical stops — Nazis, slave catchers, and even sentimental tales of “replacement babies” — in their latest attempt to take a swing at President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. It’s the kind of over-the-top analogy that makes you wonder if they’ve been spending too much time in the faculty lounge of a liberal arts college.

These bishops aren’t just opposing Trump’s border enforcement; they’re promoting a wish list of open borders, cheap labor, and a healthy dose of moral preening. Apparently, the lesson here is that the laws of the United States should bend whenever a business group insists it can’t find “willing workers” at market wages.

Bishop Mark Brennan of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia, took the moral condemnation route, comparing ICE agents and federal officers enforcing immigration law to historical villains. “ICE agents and other officials cannot escape personal responsibility for an unjust action with the excuse that it was ordered by their superiors,” Brennan wrote to his diocese earlier this month. In other words, following the law is now being likened to atrocities, because enforcing national borders is apparently the new definition of “unjust.”

Archbishop Thomas Wenski of Miami had a different angle — the economic sob story. “You can ask the farmers; you can ask the hotel managers; you can ask those that run nursing homes and health care institutions around the country — and they’ll tell you that their best workers, in many cases, are immigrants,” he said in an August 5 interview. Translation: Americans should accept stagnant wages because cheap foreign labor makes life easier for corporate profit margins.

Archbishop Jose Gomez of Los Angeles joined the chorus, calling for more legal immigration and pushing amnesty for millions already here illegally. His reasoning? Their “labor contribution” is apparently reason enough to override immigration law. That’s an interesting interpretation of citizenship, earn it by undercutting American workers.

What’s conspicuously absent from the bishops’ statements is any acknowledgment of what Trump’s enforcement policies have actually done: saved untold numbers of migrants from dangerous trafficking routes, reduced the risk of assault and exploitation, and challenged the Wall Street “human import” strategy that drains labor from struggling nations. But giving Trump credit doesn’t fit the narrative, so silence it is.

Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington, D.C., warned of “wholesale, indiscriminate deportation” targeting everyone without papers. Of course, enforcing the law against those who broke it is now “indiscriminate” — apparently the law should only apply to people the bishops don’t feel sorry for this week.

Bishop Mark Seitz of El Paso admitted that the Church’s influence is slipping, telling the New York Times, “We as a church unfortunately don’t have the kind of megaphone that the administration does… It’s a real challenge to reach even Catholics, especially when maybe one out of five who identify as Catholic make it to Mass on Sunday.”

That last line might be the most revealing. When only 20% of your own flock is showing up, maybe the problem isn’t that Trump is too loud. Maybe it’s that too many church leaders have traded shepherding their congregations for politicking on behalf of policies that hurt American workers and reward lawlessness.

In the end, the bishops’ position is clear: side with business lobbies, attack the President, and pretend that borders are optional, all while wondering why fewer Catholics are listening. Meanwhile, Trump continues doing exactly what he promised: protecting the sovereignty of the United States, defending working-class wages, and proving that enforcing the law is not a moral failing, but a national duty.

Biden’s Idaho Wind Farm Fantasy Just Got Wrecked By President Trump

0

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump has slammed the brakes on a massive, Biden-approved wind farm project in Idaho, a 1,000-megawatt eyesore known as the Lava Ridge Wind Project, and folks in rural Idaho are probably popping champagne right about now.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, who has been a thorn in the side of Biden’s green energy pipe dreams, uncovered legal problems with the project and made it clear that this administration isn’t in the business of rubber-stamping every “renewable” boondoggle the environmental left dreams up.

The Department of the Interior’s press release stated: “Department of the Interior Secretary Doug Burgum is restoring common sense to American energy policy by reversing the Biden administration’s misguided, last-minute push to approve the Lava Ridge Wind Project, an enormous and unpopular 1,000-megawatt wind facility in southern Idaho, during the final days of the former president’s term. Under President Donald J. Trump, the Department of the Interior will no longer provide preferential treatment towards unreliable, intermittent power sources that harm rural communities, livelihoods and the land, such as the Lava Ridge Wind Project and the radical Green New Scam agenda that burdens our nation and public lands…”

Translation: the days of federal agencies handing out favors to politically connected “green” projects that blight the landscape and threaten wildlife are over.

Trump has never been shy about his disdain for wind farms, calling them ugly, unreliable, and downright dangerous to birds, something environmental activists claim to care about, until their own pet projects start grinding them up like nature’s Cuisinart.

The Lava Ridge project was set to sprawl across vast areas of southern Idaho, consuming rural land and turning open country into a forest of towering turbines. Local residents have been fighting it from the start, warning that it would destroy the beauty of the region, disrupt ranching operations, and hurt property values. But during Biden’s final days in office, his administration decided to ram it through anyway, ignoring the people who actually live there.

That arrogance ended today.

This move by the Trump administration sends a strong message that America’s energy policy will once again be rooted in reality, not in the virtue-signaling fantasies of bureaucrats who have never set foot in rural Idaho. Instead of wasting billions on “intermittent” energy sources that depend on weather conditions, Trump has been pushing for reliable, affordable energy, the kind that doesn’t leave entire towns in the dark when the wind stops blowing.

It’s also a reminder that the so-called “Green New Deal” agenda isn’t about saving the planet — it’s about controlling land, people, and resources. Biden’s team may have tried to sneak this project through, but under President Trump, those days are over.

And for the folks in Idaho who have been staring down the possibility of living in the shadow of 700-foot spinning steel monsters, this is more than a policy change, it’s a reprieve. One they won’t soon forget.

Trump Nukes Federal Employee COVID Jab Records — Gone For Good

(DC Pundit) – Federal agencies have just been ordered to purge every trace of COVID-19 vaccination records, mandate compliance data, and exemption requests from their files, an unmistakable sign that the Trump administration is determined to put the pandemic-era overreach in the rearview mirror where it belongs.

The directive, issued by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), gives every federal department and agency exactly 90 days to comply. There’s one exception: individual employees can voluntarily request that their vaccination information remain on file if they wish. But for everyone else, the vaccine status tracking that became a hallmark of the Biden years is on the chopping block.

OPM Director Scott Kupor left no doubt about the motivation behind the order. “Things got out of hand during the pandemic, and federal workers were fired, punished, or sidelined for simply making a personal medical decision,” Kupor said in a statement. “That should never have happened. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, we’re making sure the excesses of that era do not have lingering effects on federal workers.”

That “era” Kupor is referring to? The Biden mandate frenzy that kicked off in September 2021, when the then-president ordered every federal worker to take the COVID-19 shot as a condition of keeping their job. By January 2022, before a federal judge stepped in to block the rule, the White House boasted that 98% of covered employees had been vaccinated. In other words, nearly everyone had to comply or face losing their paycheck. The mandate wasn’t officially scrapped until May 2023 — far too late for those whose careers were already damaged.

The new Trump administration policy doesn’t just erase the records, it also prohibits agencies from considering an employee’s vaccination status in any employment decision going forward. Hiring, promotions, terminations — all off-limits for vaccine history. That’s a dramatic reversal from Biden’s approach, which treated personal health choices as political loyalty tests.

For millions of Americans who watched friends, family, and co-workers get sidelined, demoted, or outright fired for refusing to take a government-mandated shot, this move is more than bureaucratic housekeeping, it’s a long-overdue course correction. It’s also a clear warning to federal agencies: pandemic politics are no longer a license to trample constitutional rights.

It’s worth remembering that many of the lawsuits now winding through the courts began when federal employees challenged the idea that Washington, D.C. could dictate private medical decisions under threat of job loss. Those cases helped lay the groundwork for this sweeping deletion order.

Under Biden, the pandemic was treated like a golden opportunity to expand federal control, and vaccine mandates were the crown jewel. Under Trump, the message is the opposite: your health choices are yours alone, and Washington doesn’t get a vote.

The Biden years may have tried to normalize government tracking of your personal health records. But as of now, the Trump administration has made it official, that chapter is closed. And for a whole lot of federal workers, it’s about time.
