(DC Pundit) – Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), one of the most far-left members of Congress, let something slip during a recent interview that’s raising more than a few eyebrows — and rightly so. While discussing food assistance programs, Jayapal casually admitted that illegal aliens are benefiting from the taxpayer-funded SNAP program. You know, the very thing Democrats have repeatedly claimed isn’t happening.

Here’s what she said:

Let that sink in.

She wasn’t stuttering. She didn’t misspeak. She didn’t walk it back. She flat-out admitted that illegal immigrants, people who are not supposed to be receiving federal benefits, are in fact recipients of assistance funded by American taxpayers.

For years, the left has denied this with the energy of a toddler caught red-handed in a cookie jar. Anyone daring to question whether taxpayer-funded programs were being misused by people in the country illegally was labeled xenophobic, racist, or “misinformed.”

Turns out, the only misinformation was coming from Democrats like Jayapal, who were doing everything in their power to keep the truth under wraps — until she let it slip herself.

And of course, Jayapal tried to play the sympathy card, suggesting these individuals are too afraid to even show up at food banks now.

This is the kind of double-talk and manipulation Americans are tired of. Hardworking citizens are struggling to afford groceries, gas, rent, and basic necessities. But somehow, we’re supposed to foot the bill for people who broke our laws to get here in the first place?

It’s not about lacking compassion, it’s about priorities. And the fact that Democrats continue to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens is exactly why they’re losing support among key voting blocs they once counted on.

Jayapal’s accidental honesty confirms what conservatives have known for years: Our system is being abused, and Democrats don’t seem all that interested in stopping it. In fact, they appear to be perfectly comfortable with it, as long as it serves their political goals.

If illegal aliens are afraid of losing benefits they shouldn’t have access to in the first place, perhaps that’s a sign the system is long overdue for reform.

(DC Pundit) – Governor Gavin Newsom has taken yet another swing at property rights in California, this time under the smoke screen of wildfire recovery. Former Acting Director of National Intelligence and U.S. Special Envoy Ric Grenell isn’t having it, and neither are the residents of Pacific Palisades and Malibu.

Grenell accused Newsom of flat-out lying about his plans for the fire-scorched areas of Los Angeles. While residents are still reeling from the January fires that devastated parts of these iconic neighborhoods, Newsom apparently saw an opportunity, not to help them rebuild their homes, but to push through low-income housing developments.

“They are changing the character of the Palisades and Malibu to fit their woke agenda. They don’t care what residents want,” Grenell posted on X.

Translation: Newsom is more concerned about checking boxes on his progressive wish list than he is about respecting the people who live in the communities he’s targeting. The governor’s recent move to funnel $101 million to developers for building low-income housing in these fire-damaged zones has ignited a political firestorm.

Adding insult to injury, this announcement came on the heels of Newsom signing legislation that rolled back environmental protections which had previously halted high-density housing construction in certain urban areas, also known as “urban infill.” Suddenly, land that was once protected for environmental or residential reasons is now fair game for the governor’s social engineering experiments. How convenient?

Wait, it gets better. The California State Senate passed a bill to create a local authority empowered to use property tax dollars to buy up burned-out lots and turn them into low-income housing projects. That’s not exactly the type of “rebuilding” local residents had in mind when they were sifting through the ashes of their homes.

And while Newsom insists it’s all about equitable recovery and increasing housing supply, locals are calling it exactly what it is: a shameless land grab.

The backlash was swift enough to cause State Sen. Ben Allen (D–Santa Monica) to slam the brakes on his own bill tied to the initiative. Allen withdrew the measure before it could even be debated in the State Assembly, admitting it “needed more time for public consultation.”

That’s political speak for “we got caught trying to sneak something past the people.”

This isn’t just about Malibu or the Palisades — it’s about a growing pattern of California Democrats using crises to reshape communities in the image of their political agendas. What used to be disaster recovery is now just another opportunity to bulldoze local voices and replace them with bureaucratic mandates.

If you lost your home in the fires and were hoping to rebuild, good luck doing that before Sacramento finds a way to label your lot a “social justice opportunity zone.”

Newsom has perfected the art of pretending to help while quietly pushing policies that benefit his political base and donor class. The victims of the fire? They’re just collateral damage in California’s grand “equity” experiment.

California used to be the land of opportunity. Now, it is the land of government overreach dressed up in the language of compassion.

It’s no wonder people are leaving in droves.

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump has once again peeled back the curtain on corruption in D.C., this time setting his sights on none other than Senator Adam Schiff, a man whose smug face has become a permanent fixture on cable news, usually while spinning up some wild conspiracy theory that miraculously never turns out to be true.

On Tuesday, Trump announced that Schiff has allegedly been caught red-handed in a mortgage fraud scheme uncovered by Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division. Yes, that Adam Schiff, the same guy who spent years accusing Trump of every crime under the sun, apparently couldn’t keep his own financial affairs clean.

“I have always suspected Shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud.”

According to the report, Schiff, who was a California Congressman at the time, allegedly claimed that his primary residence was in Maryland in order to score a cheaper mortgage. Meanwhile, he was still casting votes in California and supposedly residing in a modest Burbank condo, if by “residing,” we mean occasionally checking the mail.

Trump continued, “Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA. I always knew Adam Schiff was a Crook. The FRAUD began with the refinance of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on October 13, 2020.”

“Mortgage Fraud is very serious,” Trump added, “and CROOKED Adam Schiff (now a Senator) needs to be brought to justice.”

The origins of this potential scandal date back to April 2023, when a California citizen dug up documents that suggest Schiff may have misled lenders about his primary residence. According to records, Schiff purchased a 3,420-square-foot home in affluent Montgomery County, Maryland, back in 2003 and declared it his “primary residence.” But somehow, he also managed to maintain voting status in California and claimed his Burbank condo as another “primary residence.” Must be nice to have two “primaries” when the average American struggles to afford one.

Schiff refinanced the Maryland home in 2009, 2010, 2011, and again in 2013. In 2009, a House Ethics investigation looked into the issue. Schiff claimed it was a mistake and paid back the tax exemptions he wasn’t entitled to in Maryland. Case closed, right?

Not so fast. If you or I had played fast and loose with residency laws and financial disclosures like this, we’d probably be watching Judge Judy from a federal holding cell. But Schiff? Don’t count on it.

It’s no secret that Washington elites love holding others to a different standard, especially when there’s a “D” next to their name. Schiff has skated through scandal after scandal, from peddling discredited Russia hoaxes to botched impeachment fantasies. So the odds of him facing real consequences over mortgage fraud? Let’s just say we won’t hold our breath.

Adam Schiff talks a big game about “truth” and “accountability,” but behind the scenes, he’s been playing his own game of financial shell shuffle.

If there’s one thing the American people deserve, it’s equal justice under the law. That means Schiff, like anyone else accused of fraud, should be thoroughly investigated and, if found guilty, held fully accountable.

(DC Pundit) – It was supposed to be another routine stop on the campaign trail, just one more rally in a long line of them. But July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania, turned into something entirely different. That afternoon, America watched as history unfolded in real time, when an assassination attempt was made on President Donald J. Trump.

Standing before a packed crowd of supporters waving signs that read “Joe Biden, you’re fired!” Trump was doing what he always does, laying out the facts, pointing to a chart highlighting the Biden administration’s utter failure on illegal immigration. Then, mid-sentence, the unthinkable happened.

Gunshots. Chaos.

In a moment that instantly became etched into the American consciousness, Trump was interrupted by the sound of rapid gunfire. Secret Service agents jumped into action. As bullets rained down from above, Trump ducked, covered by agents, then, when given the green light, rose with unmistakable defiance.

Bloodied but unbowed, he raised a clenched fist and declared “Fight! Fight! Fight!” three times, igniting the crowd into a thundering chant of “U-S-A!”

The shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired eight rounds from a rooftop. One bullet hit Trump’s ear. Tragically, Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old firefighter, husband, and father, was killed, and two others were injured. Crooks was taken down by a Secret Service sniper, and to this day, the FBI has yet to reveal much information about him.

The attack wasn’t just an attempt on Trump, it was an attack on the American people’s right to choose their leader.

In an exclusive interview on My View with Lara Trump, President Trump recalled the moment. “It was unforgettable,” he said. “People were screaming, and I got down quickly, fortunately, because I think they shot eight bullets.”

Susie Wiles, Trump’s former campaign co-chair and current chief of staff, admitted she thought he had been killed. “You think the worst,” she told Miranda Devine on Pod Force One. “And when he stood up, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh.’”

Ironically, it was Trump’s request for an immigration chart that may have saved his life. Wiles noted that when Trump turned his head slightly to glance at the chart, it changed the trajectory of the bullet. “That just doesn’t happen because it happened,” she said, calling the moment “scary” and transformative for the campaign’s approach to security.

In the aftermath, the Secret Service underwent a sweeping internal overhaul. An October 2024 report from the Department of Homeland Security stated, “The Secret Service does not perform at the elite levels needed to discharge its critical mission… It has become bureaucratic, complacent, and static.”

Six agents were recently suspended, and new protocols have been put in place to ensure the mistakes in Pennsylvania are never repeated.

Trump didn’t wait long to reappear on the national stage. Just days later, he addressed the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, still wearing a bandage on his ear.

“I’m not supposed to be here tonight,” he said, prompting the crowd to respond, “Yes, you are!”

“Many people say it was a providential moment. Probably was,” Trump reflected. “When I rose, surrounded by Secret Service, the crowd was confused because they thought I was dead… I wanted to do something to let them know I was OK. I raised my right arm, looked at the thousands and thousands of people that were breathlessly waiting, and started shouting, ‘Fight, fight, fight.’”

That moment became symbolic.

Today, a painting of President Trump, his fist raised, blood on his face, now hangs in the White House’s entrance hall. A reminder not only of what he survived, but why he continues to fight.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt summed it up to Fox News Digital this week: “God spared President Trump’s life by a miraculous millimeter. Now one year later, President Trump is standing stronger than ever as he continues to ‘fight, fight, fight’ for the American people.”

Indeed, Trump didn’t just survive an assassination attempt, he turned it into a rallying cry. One year later, he’s not just standing, he’s leading.

(DC Pundit) – President Trump personally weighed in regarding the Bondi-Bongino clash on Saturday afternoon, and let’s just say he wasn’t thrilled about having to intervene in what should have been a unified administration.

On Friday it was reported that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino took a day off from work after a clash with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files.

The blowup between Bondi and Bongino happened after the DOJ released a 2-page memo concluding Jeffrey Epstein did not have a “client list” and that he committed suicide.

“Bongino is out of control furious,” a person who spoke with the deputy FBI director said, according to NBC News. “This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit and torch Pam unless she’s fired.”

Trump responded to the controversy on Truth Social: “What’s going on with my ‘boys’and, in some cases,’gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again. (DC Pundit) – Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett has delivered what might be the most tone-deaf political commentary of the year, simultaneously insulting American voters while accidentally telling the truth about her own profession. In a recent podcast appearance that’s generating significant backlash, Crockett managed to achieve the impressive feat of being both condescending and honest in the same breath.

During an interview on The Jamal Bryant Podcast “Let’s Be Clear,” released Thursday, Crockett displayed the kind of elitist attitude that has become synonymous with modern Democratic politics. Her comments reveal the party’s fundamental disconnect with ordinary Americans who dare to think for themselves rather than blindly following progressive talking points.

“Most people voted the wrong way because they were uneducated,” Crockett declared with arrogance. Nothing says “vote for me” quite like telling constituents they’re too stupid to make proper decisions.

Sensing she might have stepped in it, Crockett attempted to walk back her statement with all the grace of a politician caught on a hot mic. “And that’s not to call them dumb,” she clarified, apparently believing this distinction would somehow soften the blow. She then explained that real life gets in the way of proper voting decisions, saying, “You’re trying to keep a roof over your head, keep food on the table, trying to make sure that your kids have what they need. And so you’re not tuned in.”

How thoughtful of Representative Crockett to acknowledge that working Americans are busy with trivial matters like feeding their families and paying their bills. Clearly, these people should be spending more time absorbing the wisdom of their Democratic betters instead of focusing on such mundane concerns as survival.

The interview, conducted with Bryant, a Georgia-based preacher, centered on the state’s upcoming U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races in 2026. Crockett’s strategy for victory involves what she calls an education campaign, though one suspects her definition of “education” might differ from what most Americans would recognize.

“I need y’all to understand that it’s not going to be good enough that you go out and vote. You got to make sure you’re educating people,” Crockett instructed.

“Educate, educate, educate, kick, drag, scream, do whatever you have to do, because we say every election is a matter of life and death,” Crockett said, revealing the kind of desperation that emerges when a political party realizes it’s losing touch with the very people it claims to represent.

Perhaps most surprisingly, Crockett delivered an unexpected moment of honesty when she admitted that people are often right in thinking that most politicians are “crooks” and “liars.” This rare glimpse of self-awareness provides a fascinating window into how Democratic politicians actually view their own profession.

“So, one of the things that I tell people all the time is that most people don’t really want to hear from a politician,” she said. “They don’t trust us. A lot of people think that we are crooks, and frankly, a lot of them are. A lot of them think that they are liars and, frankly, a lot of them are.”

If Crockett acknowledges that many of her colleagues are dishonest criminals, why should voters trust her assessment of their intelligence? It’s a bit rich to simultaneously claim moral authority over voters’ decisions while admitting your profession is filled with corrupt liars.

As President Trump continues to deliver results for hardworking Americans, Democrats like Crockett seem increasingly out of touch with the concerns of ordinary citizens. Her podcast appearance serves as a perfect reminder of why conservative leadership resonates with voters who want results, not lectures about their supposed inadequacies.

(DC Pundit) – Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase and one of the most powerful voices on Wall Street, just lit a political fire under the Democratic Party, and he didn’t use banker-speak to do it. During a stop in Ireland this week, Dimon gave his unfiltered assessment of today’s Democrats: “big hearts and little brains.”

Dimon flat-out called many in the Democratic Party “idiots,” accusing them of being entirely disconnected from how the real world operates. And coming from a man who oversees the largest bank in the United States, that’s not exactly a throwaway comment.

“I have a lot of friends who are Democrats, and they are idiots,” Dimon said. “I always say they have big hearts and little brains. They do not understand how the real world works.” Not exactly the kind of language you hear in a Harvard business seminar — but it’s precisely the kind of blunt truth that millions of Americans have been thinking for years.

Dimon slammed the party’s obsession with diversity quotas and woke virtue-signaling, saying Democrats have gone too far down the DEI rabbit hole while ignoring practical policy that could help struggling Americans. “We all were devoted to reaching out to the black community, Hispanic, the LGBT community, the disabled — we do all of that. But to the extent, they gotta stop it. And they gotta go back to being more practical. They’re very ideological,” he explained.

Dimon also took aim at New York City politics, specifically urging voters to steer clear of Zohran Mamdani, the self-proclaimed socialist who recently won the Democratic primary for NYC mayor. “He’s more of a Marxist than a socialist,” Dimon said, slamming Mamdani’s platform of rent freezes, free public transit, and government-owned grocery stores. Because nothing says “modern governance” like handing over your food supply to city hall.

Dimon criticized Democrats for fawning over Mamdani’s campaign, sarcastically noting, “Now you see these Democrats falling all over themselves saying, ‘Well, he’s pointing out some real problems, affordable housing and grocery prices.’” Sure, because the answer to high prices is clearly to centralize the food chain.

The fact that one of the most influential financiers in the world is calling out Democrats for being disconnected, overly ideological, and borderline Marxist in their policies should be a serious wake-up call… if they were capable of hearing it.

Instead, the left is likely to write Dimon off as just another rich guy protecting his interests, even though he’s long supported outreach to minority communities and practical social policy. But that’s the problem: the modern Democratic Party doesn’t seem to want practical. It wants ideological purity, slogans over substance, and policies so detached from economic reality that even Jamie Dimon couldn’t resist calling it what it is.
