(DC Pundit) – For years, we’ve all known that the Trump-Russia story was bogus, now the evidence proves it. According to a newly released CIA report, the infamous Steele Dossier, the same pile of unverified fiction that launched a thousand breathless media headlines, was knowingly used by top Obama-era intelligence officials in a coordinated effort to undermine President Donald Trump before he ever stepped foot in the Oval Office.

On Wednesday, CIA Director John Ratcliffe pulled back the curtain on what can only be described as a calculated political attack masquerading as national security. The report names names, former FBI Director James Comey, ex-CIA chief John Brennan, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, all three working hand-in-glove to corrupt the Trump-Russia investigation from the very start.

These weren’t just misguided missteps. According to the report, Comey, Brennan, and Clapper knowingly propped up the discredited Steele Dossier, a document so absurd it would’ve made decent kindling, because they had one goal in mind: “screw Trump.”

And screw him they tried. For three long years, Democrats and deep state operatives used the fake dossier as their golden ticket to impeach Trump and stage a slow-motion coup attempt against the White House. They lied. They leaked. They gaslit half the country with phony tales of Russian collusion, all while sitting on information that showed their precious dossier had about as much credibility as a wet napkin.

The Steele Dossier, authored by a former British spy and bankrolled by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC, was a flimsy collection of gossip, third-hand chatter, and political fantasy. And yet, it became the foundation of a multi-year witch hunt that divided the country, crippled faith in our institutions, and wasted millions of taxpayer dollars.

Of course, the media happily played along. After all, why do actual journalism when you can parrot talking points from anonymous intelligence sources and call it breaking news?

Now, with the CIA confirming what many conservatives have long suspected, that this was never about justice, but about vengeance, the American people deserve real accountability. These weren’t low-level paper-pushers making honest mistakes. These were the top brass, the ones who swore an oath to protect the Constitution, not shred it for political sport.

And yet, you’ll hear crickets from the legacy media. No wall-to-wall coverage. No tearful op-eds. No primetime apologies.

Miranda Devine at the New York Post reported:

The review identified “multiple procedural anomalies” that undermined the credibility of the ICA, including “a highly compressed production timeline, stringent compartmentation, and excessive involvement of agency heads.”

The review found that Brennan directed the compilation of the ICA, and that his, Comey’s and Clapper’s “direct engagement in the ICA’s development was highly unusual in both scope and intensity” and ”risked stifling analytic debate.”

So where’s the accountability? Will Comey, Brennan, and Clapper ever face consequences for weaponizing the U.S. intelligence apparatus against a duly elected president? Don’t hold your breath. But one thing is certain: the American people are no longer in the dark. They know the truth. And they know who tried to steal it from them.

President Trump continues to expose this rot from the inside out. After years of smear campaigns and partisan theatrics, it turns out Trump wasn’t the one colluding with foreign powers, he was the target of a homegrown conspiracy led by the very people entrusted with safeguarding democracy.

We’ve seen enough. It’s time for consequences.

(DC Pundit) – After spending the better part of the 2024 election cycle ranting, raving, and fearmongering about the conservative policy roadmap known as Project 2025, the Democrats are now, brace yourself, crafting their very own version. They’re calling it Project 2029. Because originality, like secure borders and affordable groceries, just isn’t their strong suit.

According to the New York Times, a group of high-profile Democratic strategists and policy architects are now working on their own long-term government blueprint designed to shape the agenda for their 2028 presidential nominee. In other words, after throwing a full-blown tantrum over a 900-page conservative plan to restore constitutional governance and drain the D.C. swamp, the left is now borrowing the same idea, just adding four years, a new marketing label, and loads of socialism.

These are the same Democrats who clutched their pearls over Project 2025, calling it “extremist,” “dangerous,” and “authoritarian.” The Heritage Foundation, which spearheaded the conservative initiative, laid out an ambitious vision for dismantling the bloated administrative state and restoring executive power to a president who actually wants to serve the American people, President Donald J. Trump.

Naturally, that was a bridge too far for the left. They prefer presidents who read cue cards, take orders from unelected bureaucrats, and confuse Iran with Ukraine during press conferences.

During the 2024 campaign, Democrats dragged Project 2025 through the mud, hoping to scare voters into sticking with their chaos-coalition of race hustlers, trans activists, and climate cultists. The Trump campaign, for its part, kept its distance from the Heritage document, making clear that while many of its ideas aligned with conservative goals, the campaign had its own playbook. Trump himself stated it was not an official campaign document.

Now, with President Trump firmly back in the White House and Vice President JD Vance proving to be the political heavyweight we knew he’d be, Democrats are licking their wounds and looking ahead to 2028.

This is the same party that accused Trump of wanting to be a dictator, while openly threatening to pack the Supreme Court, erase the Electoral College, and arrest political opponents.

Project 2029 will likely be a bloated, buzzword-filled mess of bureaucratic gibberish about “equity,” “climate justice,” and “reproductive liberation”, all wrapped in a taxpayer-funded bow.

Meanwhile, Project 2025 was and still is an unapologetic roadmap to restore sanity in Washington: ending the weaponization of federal agencies, firing unaccountable deep state operatives, reining in government overreach, and putting America First.

We must do all we can to ensure that a Republican sits behind the Resolute desk after Trump’s second term. If history tells us anything, it’s that when Democrats talk about “reimagining” or “reforming” something, it almost always means fewer freedoms for you and more power for them.

(DC Pundit) – When two billionaires disagree, the sparks fly, especially when one of them is President Donald J. Trump and the other is Elon Musk.

Their latest dust-up began after Musk blasted changes made to Trump’s landmark legislation, popularly known among supporters as the “Big Beautiful Bill.” Musk warned that stripping subsidies for green energy initiatives, including electric vehicles, could “destroy millions of jobs” and cripple industries he claims are essential to America’s future.

“The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country!” Musk wrote on X, the social media platform he owns. “Utterly insane and destructive. It gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.”

Naturally, that kind of statement didn’t sit well with President Trump, especially considering the bill is a cornerstone achievement of his administration. In a Tuesday interview with the Daily Mail, Trump didn’t exactly go nuclear, but he didn’t exactly stay grounded, either.

When asked if he would consider deporting Musk, a legal immigrant from South Africa, Trump responded with the kind of line only he can deliver: “I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look.”

Now, before Democrats start frothing at the mouth and CNN spins up a weeklong special on Trump “targeting immigrants,” let’s clarify something. This wasn’t a formal declaration of policy, it was a well-timed jab, likely made with tongue planted firmly in cheek. But it does speak volumes about how serious Trump is when it comes to defending American jobs and standing by his legislative accomplishments.

What’s also worth noting is that while Musk has supported many conservative causes and stood firmly against the woke mob, he’s never been shy about criticizing Trump either. The two have had an on-again, off-again political bromance, with moments of praise quickly turning into public sparring sessions when money, power, or ego is on the line.

And let’s be honest: both men have plenty of all three.

But here’s the thing, conservatives across the country benefit when Trump and Musk are on the same team. Musk has been instrumental in exposing the rot in the government-tech complex, especially through the release of the “Twitter Files,” which unveiled how federal agencies and social media companies colluded to silence dissenting voices during COVID and the 2020 election.

At the same time, Trump has been tirelessly working to rebuild the economy, secure the border, and push back against the insanity pouring out from the left. His focus on American energy independence and manufacturing resurgence is precisely what our country needs.

So yes, tensions may be flaring, and yes, the back-and-forth could’ve been handled privately, preferably over a steak dinner at Mar-a-Lago, not via media sniping. But let’s not lose the bigger picture: both of these men are standing in the way of the left’s full-blown socialist agenda, and we need every fighter we can get.

If Musk’s feelings are hurt, he’ll survive. He’s worth $200 billion. And if Trump wants to remind him who’s boss, well, that’s what leaders do.

But don’t count on Elon being booted out of the country anytime soon. Trump might be a lot of things, but one thing he’s not is stupid. He knows that a Musk with hurt pride is still better than a Democrat with unchecked power.

The real lesson here? On the right, we may argue, we may clash, but at the end of the day, we get back in formation, because the real threat isn’t Elon Musk’s or President Trump’s tweetstorms. It’s the left’s radical march through our institutions, our economy, and our freedoms.

(DC Pundit) – If there’s one thing Democrats don’t like admitting, it’s that no one is immune, even prosecutors. On Friday evening, the Department of Justice dropped the hammer: three unnamed prosecutors deeply involved in handling January 6 defendants were suddenly fired, according to the Associated Press.

Two were senior supervisors overseeing the January 6 prosecution effort, and one was a frontline line attorney specifically tasked with bringing charges against the Capitol rioters. The AP report did not name names, but the timing and context are telling.

Earlier this year, former interim D.C. U.S. Attorney Ed Martin took decisive action by demoting several January 6 prosecutors to positions on the D.C. Superior Court. As Politico observed, “Those demoted include John Crabb and Elizabeth Aloi, who prosecuted contempt of Congress cases that sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for four months apiece. They include Jason McCullough, who helped lead the team that sent top Proud Boys leaders Enrique Tarrio, Joe Biggs and Ethan Nordean to prison for their role in orchestrating the breach of the Capitol. And they include Kathryn Rakoczy, who was a lead prosecutor in the Jan. 6 cases of Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and more than a dozen of his allies.”

That move suggested someone was reevaluating how aggressively the DOJ had pursued political prosecutions. Now, the firings underscore it. Notably, the same prosecutors were accused of fabricating evidence to secure convictions against Proud Boys and Oath Keepers members. Reports claim they “threatened and pressured the top Proud Boy and Oath Keepers members to lie and sign a document saying Trump was behind the January 6, 2021, protests and riot.”

Let’s be clear: if that’s true, this wasn’t just a prosecution, it was a political performance dressed up as law enforcement.

Conservatives have long argued that the Department of Justice became an ideological weapon under Biden. Over 1,500 January 6 protestors were charged by Biden’s corrupt DOJ, including more than 300 individuals prosecuted under 18 USC §1512(c)(2). At the time, critics claimed the use of the obstruction charge was legally dubious and politically motivated.

In fact, the Supreme Court sided with that criticism just last June, delivering a devastating blow to Biden’s Justice Department by overturning the key obstruction charge used to jail hundreds of J6 defendants. You know it’s serious when the high court issues that kind of rebuke.

Enter Friday’s surprise firings.

Are these attorneys being held accountable for overreach? Or is something else going on?

Here’s what conservatives should be watching:

1. Who are the unnamed prosecutors? If it truly involves Crabb, Aloi, McCullough, or Rakoczy, this signals accountability at the highest levels of the January 6 prosecution team.

2. What are the official reasons? Was it policy disagreement, performance issues, or something more nefarious, like political bias?

3. What happens next? Are there additional firings or a formal internal DOJ review coming?

The DOJ’s authority shouldn’t be wielded for political vendettas. If these firings result from genuine misconduct or abuse during the J6 prosecutions, then yes, let’s hold the line. Justice must be blind, not blindfolded by politics.
