(DC Pundit) – Another day, another reminder of the chaos that unfolds when our immigration laws are treated more like suggestions than actual legal requirements. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to what they initially described as a fatal crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike eastbound at the Vinita Exit.

According to troopers, the driver of the passenger car, identified as Nurbin Remigio Hernandez-Guzman, lost control and struck a semi, which drove off the overpass and exploded, with a portion of the truck hanging down onto US-60 in Vinita. We’ve all seen our share of traffic accidents, but it takes a special kind of reckless driving to launch a semi-truck off an overpass like something out of an action movie. The good news? The Oklahoma Highway Patrol initially reported this as a fatality crash but has since released new information, saying the driver had only minor injuries.

Here’s where the story gets interesting, and by interesting, I mean predictably frustrating for anyone who believes in the rule of law. After causing this spectacular display of destruction, our friend Nurbin decided that sticking around to face the music wasn’t really his style. Vinita Police officers had to track down the driver of the car, who had run away from the crash, three hours later, finding him in a nearby creek bed. Nothing says “innocent mistake” quite like fleeing the scene and hiding in a creek.

Officers said he surrendered quickly and is in custody. Well, that’s something, at least.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will take over the investigation, which is standard procedure for crashes of this magnitude. What’s becoming all too standard, unfortunately, is the pattern we see emerging from the charges filed against Hernandez-Guzman.

Nurbin Hernandez Guzman was arrested and taken into custody at the Craig County jail for a laundry list of charges that reads like a greatest hits collection of irresponsible behavior. The charges include leaving the scene of an accident involving injury, no valid driver’s license, non-compliance with the Oklahoma Insurance Code, reckless driving, obstruction of investigation, and—here’s the kicker—hold for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), with paperwork in file.

Let’s break this down for a moment. We have an individual who was driving without a valid license, without proper insurance, who caused a crash spectacular enough to launch a semi-truck off an overpass, then fled the scene like a coward, and is now being held for immigration authorities. This isn’t just a traffic accident; it’s a case study in what happens when our immigration system fails to function properly and when people choose to operate outside the bounds of our legal framework.

The “Hold for ICE” notation tells us everything we need to know about this situation. This wasn’t just some unfortunate tourist who made a driving error. It appears to be yet another example of someone who shouldn’t have been on our roads or in our country, in the first place, operating a vehicle illegally, and when things went sideways, their first instinct was to run rather than take responsibility.

The truck driver in this case was incredibly fortunate to survive what could have been a catastrophic incident. A semi-truck explosion is no joke, and the fact that it ended up hanging off an overpass onto another roadway below could have resulted in multiple casualties. The reckless actions of one individual put countless innocent lives at risk.

For conservatives who have long advocated for stronger immigration enforcement and the rule of law, this incident provides a clear example of why these policies matter. It’s not about hatred or discrimination; it’s about ensuring that everyone who operates within our borders does so legally and responsibly. When people choose to operate outside the legal framework, everyone suffers the consequences.

During Wednesday’s broadcast, Goldberg made the astounding suggestion that Black people in America face the same level of oppression as individuals living in Iran, a country where women are literally beaten for showing their hair and homosexuality is met with execution. This brilliant observation emerged during what the show’s producers likely called a “discussion” about American foreign policy regarding Iran, though it resembled more of a verbal demolition derby than any coherent analysis.

The sheer audacity of comparing life in America, where citizens enjoy constitutional protections, voting rights, and the freedom to criticize their government on national television, to existence under Iran’s murderous ayatollahs is breathtaking in its ignorance. Iranian women risk imprisonment or death for refusing to wear hijabs, while LGBTQ+ individuals face systematic persecution and execution. Meanwhile, Goldberg sits comfortably in her Manhattan studio, earning millions of dollars while spouting nonsense to a national audience.

This isn’t merely poor judgment; it’s an insult to every person genuinely suffering under authoritarian rule worldwide. Iranian protesters have died in the streets fighting for basic human rights that Americans take for granted daily. To suggest equivalence between these situations reveals either profound ignorance of global affairs or a deliberate attempt to distort reality for political purposes.

The fact that ABC News continues to platform such inflammatory rhetoric raises serious questions about their editorial standards. What exactly does this programming accomplish besides alienating viewers and embarrassing the network? The show has become a parody of serious discourse, where facts are optional and outrageous statements substitute for thoughtful analysis.

President Trump has frequently criticized mainstream media’s tendency toward sensationalism and bias, and ‘The View’ serves as a perfect example of his concerns. While the President focuses on strengthening America’s position globally and addressing real challenges facing our citizens, shows like this persist in manufacturing controversy and division.

The entertainment industry’s leftward tilt has been well-documented, but ‘The View’ represents something more troubling, the complete abandonment of integrity in favor of partisan activism. When television personalities feel comfortable making such absurd comparisons without consequence, it demonstrates how far removed they’ve become from the experiences of ordinary Americans.

Conservative viewers have long recognized that ABC’s daytime programming serves as little more than propaganda disguised as entertainment. The network’s decision to continue broadcasting such content speaks volumes about their priorities and their respect for their audience’s intelligence.

The Iranian people deserve better than having their struggles minimized for the sake of American political theater. American viewers deserve better than having their intelligence insulted on a daily basis. And ABC News should be ashamed of continuing to broadcast such irresponsible content.

Shocking Invasion: Chinese Counterfeit IDs Swamped U.S. During 2020 Election Cycle

(DC Pundit) – On Monday, FBI Director Kash Patel declassified an intelligence document that should make every American’s blood boil. The report, originally filed in August 2020, exposed a stunning allegation: the Chinese Communist Party mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses with the explicit goal of facilitating mail-in ballot fraud to benefit Joe Biden during the 2020 election.

The declassified document was handed over to Sen. Chuck Grassley, revealing a story that reads like a political thriller – except this one’s real, and the FBI’s handling of it is absolutely shameful.

The Evidence Was Overwhelming, The Response Was Pathetic
Here’s what we know happened, and it’s enough to make any patriotic American furious. The intelligence report included testimony from at least one confidential source. It was supported by hard data that couldn’t be ignored: U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized nearly 20,000 fake licenses, with the vast majority originating from China.

You’d think this would trigger the investigation of the century, right? Wrong. Despite what appeared to be the opening chapter of a serious national security probe, the report was mysteriously recalled within weeks. The FBI – our supposed premier law enforcement agency – simply didn’t pursue the case. The source was never re-interviewed. The entire matter was swept under the rug faster than Hunter Biden’s laptop.

When Facts Don’t Fit the Narrative
Let’s examine the documented facts that the mainstream media and their fact-checker allies worked overtime to dismiss. CBP did intercept 19,888 fake IDs at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport in 2020. This isn’t some conspiracy theory cooked up in someone’s basement – it’s officially documented government data.

These weren’t amateur hour knockoffs either. The counterfeit licenses looked remarkably authentic, complete with barcodes that actually scanned properly. When news of these massive seizures initially broke, officials quickly scrambled to control the narrative, claiming the documents were primarily intended for routine fraud, identity theft, or helping college kids buy beer – definitely not voting, they assured us.

The so-called fact-checkers, dutifully citing CBP statements, immediately dismissed any connection to election fraud as baseless conspiracy mongering. That became the official public line, parroted by every mainstream outlet from CNN to The New York Times.

But here’s the kicker: while they were busy telling the American people there was nothing to see here, the FBI had an internal report sitting on someone’s desk that said the exact opposite.

The Question That Demands Answers
So why didn’t our federal law enforcement agencies dig deeper into what could have been the most significant foreign interference operation in American electoral history? Maybe the case lacked the smoking gun proof they wanted. Perhaps it was an election year, and everyone’s nerves were frayed beyond repair.

But here’s what should terrify every American: Since when is it acceptable for our federal government to abandon a potential foreign interference plot orchestrated by our greatest adversary without exhausting every possible lead?

Christopher Wray’s Convenient Memory Lapse
In 2020, then-FBI Director Christopher Wray confidently told Congress there were “no known plots” by foreign actors to interfere in the election. That statement now seems laughably incomplete at best, and deliberately misleading at worst.

No known plots? There was literally an active intelligence report sitting in the FBI’s own filing system. The only problem was that the bureau had already decided not to investigate it fully. It’s like claiming there are no fires in the building while ignoring the smoke alarms beeping in the next room.

It’s impossible not to wonder whether the decision to bury this investigation was purely political. The stakes couldn’t have been higher, the pressure was intense, and transparency was virtually nonexistent. The timing was certainly convenient for those who wanted to avoid any uncomfortable questions about election integrity.

The Bigger Picture They Don’t Want You to See
To be completely fair, the 2020 fact-checks might have been technically accurate on a narrow reading. Perhaps those specific fake IDs weren’t registered to vote in any particular jurisdiction. Maybe votes linked to those IDs never ended up in ballot drop boxes or polling stations.

But that completely misses the forest for the trees. If hostile foreign governments are mass-producing fake American identity documents during a presidential election, why isn’t that alone enough to trigger every alarm bell in Washington?

You shouldn’t need to prove the absolute worst-case scenario to justify a comprehensive federal investigation. You just need to take the very real possibility seriously, which apparently was too much to ask from our supposedly elite law enforcement agency.

The Pattern of Dismissal
There’s a troubling pattern emerging that many conservatives have noticed: election integrity concerns are routinely dismissed as fringe conspiracy theories before any serious investigation takes place. Raise legitimate questions about irregularities, and you’re immediately labeled as a dangerous conspiracy theorist. Ask for basic oversight and transparency, and you’re told the system works perfectly and questioning it undermines democracy itself.

This case perfectly illustrates the problem. A major federal agency received credible early warning signs about potential foreign interference. Those warnings were backed up by massive physical seizures of suspicious documents. Yet somehow, the system decided to let it slide without explanation.

What Happens Next Matters
Now that this report has finally been dragged into the sunlight, we have an opportunity to do things the right way. Congress must investigate why this case was abandoned like yesterday’s garbage. The original confidential source should be re-interviewed immediately. Seizure data should be thoroughly reviewed again, this time with the benefit of what we now know about the FBI’s internal intelligence.

Moving forward, there needs to be crystal-clear protocols for how election-related intelligence is handled, especially when it involves foreign adversaries like China, who are actively working to undermine American democracy.

The Real Issue at Stake
Nobody’s claiming that fake Chinese IDs ultimately decided the 2020 election – that’s not the point, and it’s a red herring designed to distract from the real issue. The point is that when there’s credible evidence of a foreign plot against American elections, the FBI has a responsibility to follow through with a thorough investigation.

That clearly didn’t happen in 2020, and it should have. The American people deserved better from their federal law enforcement agencies, and they deserve answers about why this investigation was killed before it even got started.

President Trump’s administration now has the opportunity to ensure this kind of bureaucratic cover-up never happens again. Let’s make sure it doesn’t.

Suspect In Lawmaker’s Assassination Was Handpicked By Tim Walz — “No Kings” Fliers And Manifesto Discovered In Car

(DC Pundit) – It’s the kind of headline that would cause a media meltdown if the political parties were reversed—but since the alleged killer has ties to Minnesota’s Democrat establishment, the national press has gone into full “nothing to see here” mode.

The man suspected of murdering Minnesota Democrat House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, and wounding State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, has been identified as 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter, a name that should sound familiar to anyone familiar with Minnesota politics. Boelter was appointed by none other than Gov. Tim Walz back in 2019 to the state’s Governor’s Workforce Development Board.

Before Walz’s appointment, Boelter was also placed on the Governor’s Workforce Development Council in 2016 by then-Gov. Mark Dayton. So we’re talking about a man vetted and placed in influential state roles by two successive Democrat governors.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz confirmed Saturday morning that Rep. Hortman and her husband were killed in a targeted attack at their home shortly after 2 a.m. Sen. Hoffman and his wife survived the ambush at their own home, but both were hospitalized with injuries. The governor called the attacks “targeted political violence.” The label is accurate, but don’t expect any breathless media panels wondering whether Democrat rhetoric might have played a role.

Julio Rosas of The Blaze reported, “I’m told by a police source in Minnesota the suspect in the shootings of MN state lawmakers is Vance Luther Boelter.” His identity has since been confirmed by the New York Post and multiple outlets.

Boelter’s day job? He serves as Director of Security Patrols at Praetoria Security, an outfit that—ironically—specializes in protecting people. Their website showcases staff in law enforcement-style uniforms, which probably helped Boelter pull off what police say was a disturbing impersonation: he reportedly disguised himself as a police officer to gain access to the lawmakers’ homes.

In another bizarre twist, Boelter’s wife may have interned for Gov. Walz in 2010, according to some reports. While that detail hasn’t been independently confirmed, it adds yet another layer to this political powder keg.

When police responded to the second crime scene at Rep. Hortman’s residence, they encountered Boelter, who immediately opened fire. According to Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans, “Brooklyn Park police officers encountered an individual who immediately fired at them, and they exchanged gunfire. The individual was able to escape during that exchange.”

Police later found Boelter’s vehicle abandoned at the scene, and the contents were chilling. Authorities recovered fliers with the phrase “No Kings”, an all-too-familiar rallying cry among anti-Trump anarchist types, and a manifesto that reportedly listed other political targets.

Boelter is still on the run as of this writing, and a statewide manhunt is underway.

Naturally, the “No Kings” protest movement in Minnesota has since canceled upcoming events. Probably a wise move, considering one of their apparent supporters is now wanted for political assassinations.

And while Democrats are quick to distance themselves from this accused killer, maybe the public deserves to know why a man with such radical leanings was repeatedly placed into state-level positions of influence. Then again, when your party is busy defending drag shows for children and pretending the border is secure, what’s one more unqualified extremist slipping through the cracks?

For now, the media will continue its careful framing while conservatives, yet again, are left pointing out the painfully obvious: when political violence comes from the left, the outrage machine suddenly goes silent.

Ilhan Omar’s Daughter Calls For ‘Death’ Of ‘Colonial’ U.S. And Israel!

(DC Pundit) – Apparently, the apple doesn’t fall far from the far-left tree.

Isra Hirsi, daughter of Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar, recently lit up Instagram with a now-viral post that could easily double as a recruitment flier for radical extremists. In her message, Hirsi declared, “From L.A. to Rafah, there is one common oppressor — Death to the colonial empire.” The post praised violent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles while comparing American immigration enforcement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, linking both nations as so-called “colonial empires” worthy of destruction.

The incident in question involved far-left agitators clashing with police and ICE agents during a chaotic protest. Palestinian flags were flown, “Free Palestine” was chanted, and demands for an “intifada” — the same term used in previous waves of violent uprisings against Israel — echoed through the streets. All the while, Hirsi decided this was the moment to cheer on the mayhem and give it an international spin.

Her post didn’t just support the riot — it reframed American immigration law and Israel’s national defense as part of a global system of “colonial oppression” that needs to be violently overthrown. In other words, she’s connecting ICE and the IDF in the same breath as if they’re some global bogeymen conspiring against her college activism.

Critics slammed the post as an open endorsement of violent domestic insurrection. And they’re not wrong.

This isn’t the first time Hirsi has waded into extremist waters. In March, she promoted a fundraiser for Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia University graduate arrested and facing deportation for his role in violent campus activism. Khalil, described as a “Hamas sympathizer who espouses violent, anti-American views,” wasn’t just any protester. He was a leading figure in Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), a group that, among other things, called for the “total eradication of Western civilization.” Sounds more like a Bond villain plot than a student group.

Despite Khalil’s rap sheet, the fundraiser Hirsi promoted exploded past its initial $250,000 goal, raising over $570,000 — apparently, being an extremist with a good social media network pays.

Hirsi herself faced consequences for her behavior, sort of. Barnard College, affiliated with Columbia, suspended her for helping organize the unauthorized “Gaza Solidarity Encampment,” which was ultimately broken up by NYPD officers. Naturally, her mother, Rep. Ilhan Omar, a staunch member of the far-left “Squad,” wasn’t just supportive. She was “enormously proud.”

Of course, she was. What else should we expect from a congresswoman who has spent her entire political career trashing the country that gave her and her family refuge from the violence of Somalia?

While Democrats continue to look the other way, this brand of radicalism is becoming the new normal on college campuses. Hijacking global conflicts to justify riots in American cities? Check. Equating ICE with foreign military operations? Double check. Publicly glorifying political violence while raking in cash for people facing deportation over it? Sadly, that’s now part of the activist playbook.

It’s long past time for Democrats to start asking themselves why so many of their rising stars are comfortable playing footsie with far-left extremism. But don’t hold your breath. When lawless mobs take to the streets, and members of Congress cheer them on, you know exactly which side of the line they’ve chosen. And it’s not the one that stands for America.

(DC Pundit) – It turns out California Governor Gavin Newsom has a truth allergy, and the symptoms just flared up in public. In a classic example of a Democrat getting caught red-handed, Newsom flat-out denied speaking with President Donald Trump recently. His words? “There was no call. Not even a voicemail.”

Unfortunately for him, President Trump came with receipts, and posted the call log from his phone for the world to see. Yes, an actual record showing the call took place. So while Newsom was busy playing the role of confused politician, Trump was doing what he always does, shining a spotlight on the lies of the left, one log entry at a time.

Trump told a White House reporter that he had spoken with Newsom “a day ago.” A reasonable statement—until Newsom tried to rewrite reality and pretend the call never happened. Maybe the governor thought the public wouldn’t notice. Perhaps he thought the media would cover for him.

It’s the latest example of the governor saying one thing while doing another. Newsom has already watched California slide into protest chaos this past week under his “leadership,” illegal immigration is flooding cities, crime is skyrocketing, and drug use is turning once beautiful downtowns into dystopian tent cities. Now he’s adding dishonesty to the resume.

Let’s be clear, Trump didn’t need to release the call log. He could’ve just moved on and let Newsom twist himself into knots trying to explain. But that’s not how Trump operates. He brings the facts, especially when the other side starts gaslighting the public.

And for anyone wondering why this matters: honesty still counts. Especially from someone who wants to be seen as a national leader. Newsom has been floated by some Democrats as a possible 2028 candidate. But if this is the best they’ve got, a guy who can’t even tell the truth about a phone call, then maybe it’s time they start shopping for a Plan C.

Newsom’s press team has not offered any explanation for the blatant contradiction, nor have they addressed the screenshot shared by Trump. Likely because there isn’t a good explanation, unless you count “hoping no one pays attention” as a strategy.

Unfortunately for Gavin, people are paying attention. And once again, it’s President Trump doing the job of holding Democrats accountable, something the mainstream media conveniently forgets to do.

(DC Pundit) – Well, here’s something you don’t see every day, an elected state lawmaker admitting on the record, during an official legislative session, that she’s in the country illegally. That’s exactly what happened Monday when Minnesota State Representative Kaohly Vang Her, a Democrat, dropped a political bombshell while advocating for expanded taxpayer-funded health coverage for illegal immigrants.

During a hearing on a bill aimed at expanding MinnesotaCare eligibility to cover non-citizens, Rep. Vang Her said aloud what most Democrats only whisper behind closed doors.

“My father, as the one processing the paperwork, put my grandmother down as his mother and so I am illegal in this country. My parents are illegal here in this country,” she said.

And just like that, the lawmaker who has spent her time in office pushing for progressive policies confirmed that she and her parents are living in the U.S. unlawfully. For some reason, she thought this would go over well with constituents, and the internet quickly reminded her otherwise. Calls for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to investigate and arrest Vang Her started rolling in immediately after the video of her remarks went viral.

Her official biography paints the typical “American Dream” picture: She was born in Laos, fled as a refugee at the age of four, and settled in Appleton, Wisconsin. Her father worked at a paper factory, her mother as a teacher’s aide. Like many immigrants, they faced financial struggles. Unlike most, however, they appear to have done so while knowingly violating U.S. immigration laws.

“There were periods of my life where my family struggled financially but my parents never gave up on the dream of what America could provide,” Vang Her states on her website.

That’s touching. But it also doesn’t negate the fact that the same America her family dreamed about has immigration laws, and the rest of us are expected to follow them or face consequences. Apparently, those rules don’t apply if you have a microphone, a legislative badge, and a D next to your name.

And let’s not ignore the context here: This wasn’t some random slip of the tongue. She made her statement while defending a bill that would force Minnesota taxpayers to foot the costs for healthcare coverage for people who are not legally allowed to be in the country to begin with. You can’t make this up.

Now imagine the national media reaction if a Republican admitted to breaking any law, let alone immigration law, on the floor of their statehouse. There would be wall-to-wall coverage, public outcry, and nonstop calls for resignation. In this case? Crickets from the usual suspects.

ICE has not publicly responded to the incident yet, but public pressure is mounting. Many Americans are asking the obvious question: How is it possible for someone who has admitted to being in the U.S. illegally to hold elected office?

It’s a fair question. One that, in most other countries, would be answered with swift action.

(DC Pundit) – Businessman and podcast host Patrick Bet-David suggested on Friday that Elon Musk may have been on the receiving end of a physical altercation during his final days working with the Trump administration.

Bet-David floated the theory that someone inside the White House might’ve taken a swing at the Tesla billionaire, not because he’s anti-electric cars, but allegedly because Musk was “wearing thin,” according to President Trump himself.

This all comes after Musk’s recent unhinged online tirade against President Trump, which went from zero to Epstein faster than a SpaceX launch. The tech mogul accused Trump of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, demanded his impeachment, and claimed Trump could not have won the 2024 election without Musk’s “support.” It was a meltdown worthy of its own Twitter documentary.

But just days earlier, Musk stood alongside President Trump at a press conference marking his official exit from government collaboration. The whole event had the usual fanfare, complete with polite farewells and talk of parting on good terms.

Then came the whiplash. Suddenly, Musk’s attitude flipped harder than a congressional seat in a red wave election.

Cue Patrick Bet-David.

Speaking on his podcast, Bet-David remarked, “Somebody swung at Elon. I’m not speculating. Remember, the keyword is, allegedly. We don’t know any of this stuff, but the timing of all this is a little weird.”

He’s not wrong. The timeline of Musk’s behavior has all the hallmarks of a man nursing more than just a bruised ego.

If Bet-David’s theory holds any water, it paints an even more chaotic picture behind the scenes. The idea that Musk, once hailed as a visionary billionaire and free speech advocate, may have gone from boardroom strategist to boxing practice dummy is troubling, to say the least.

(DC Pundit) – It looks like resident drama queen, Jim Acosta, is still clinging to relevance the only way he knows how—by gathering his fellow anti-Trumpers for a cozy event in Washington, D.C., where they can all wallow in their collective disbelief over the results of the 2024 presidential election. The former network anchor, best known for throwing tantrums in the White House press room during Trump’s first term, invited a who’s-who of Democratic loyalists to partake in some good old-fashioned election denial, something we’re told is only dangerous when Republicans do it.

One of the evening’s headliners was none other than Rosie O’Donnell, dialing in from her new sanctuary across the Atlantic in Ireland. Why Ireland? Hard to say, but one could speculate that the further she is from reality, the happier she seems to be. O’Donnell, who’s made a second career out of bashing Trump, floated her latest theory to the fawning crowd: Elon Musk, yes, the billionaire rocket man himself, somehow “hacked” the 2024 election and stole it for President Donald Trump.

“I believe Elon Musk did something,” she confidently declared, without offering even a sliver of evidence. “I believe the down-ballot proof. I believe that he did not win this election because I am looking at how many people Kamala Harris had, and I just don’t believe it.” Well, that settles it. Case closed—Rosie just knows it couldn’t have happened. After all, the Harris campaign had plenty of yard signs and TikToks, right?

O’Donnell then pivoted to accusing Trump of indicting himself with everything he says, and, just for good measure, took a swing at the millions of Americans who voted for him, labeling them “cult-like.” Because nothing says “unity” like calling half the country brainwashed.

Let’s pause for a moment to remember that these are the same Democrats who have spent the better part of a decade hyperventilating over so-called “election denialism.” According to them, questioning election results is a grave threat to democracy, unless, of course, it’s their side doing it. When that happens, suddenly it’s just “raising concerns” or “asking important questions.”

As noted by the Washington Free Beacon, O’Donnell’s latest meltdown wasn’t a one-off. She peddled the same conspiracy back in March during an interview on Irish television. And just like this time, she faced zero pushback—because the left never eats its own. Jim Acosta, naturally, offered no challenge, no correction, no journalistic integrity. Just a warm platform and a nodding head. You’d think a guy who once made his career pretending to defend democracy might call out blatant disinformation when it’s being spewed right in front of him. But no—when the lies are coming from a fellow traveler, the fact-checking button mysteriously stops working.

Imagine for a second that someone on the right—say, Ted Nugent—had claimed that Michelle Obama hacked an election from a server hidden in a Whole Foods warehouse. CNN would have dedicated a week of coverage to it, complete with solemn panel discussions, therapist segments, and dire warnings about the fragility of democracy. But when Rosie does it? Crickets.

This is the media in 2025: one set of rules for conservatives, no rules at all for the liberal elite. The hypocrisy is not just blatant—it’s the whole point. While Trump is busy rolling up his sleeves and working on a second-term agenda, the left is busy hatching bizarre tech conspiracies from abroad and crying into their oat milk.

As for Rosie and her Musk theory, maybe she should stick to yelling at furniture on daytime television. At least then, nobody mistakes her for a serious person.

Perhaps the answer is simpler than their editorial board dares to admit: we finally have a president who doesn’t treat the border like a welcome mat for chaos. President Donald Trump has made border security a cornerstone of his administration, and the numbers are starting to show it.

The data speaks for itself. U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported a significant drop in fentanyl seizures in 2025 compared to previous years under the Biden-Harris administration, when the drug poured across the border like water through a sieve. In 2023, CBP seized over 26,000 pounds of fentanyl, a staggering figure that highlighted the crisis. Fast forward to 2025, and the numbers have plummeted, with early reports suggesting a decrease of nearly 40%. Could it be that stronger enforcement, beefed-up border patrols, and a no-nonsense approach to cartels are finally choking off the supply? The WaPo’s “serious thinkers” seem stumped, but conservatives across the country are nodding knowingly.

Many view the outlet as out of touch with reality. The paper’s circulation has indeed tanked, with reports indicating a loss of over $77 million in 2023 alone, as readers abandon ship for sources that don’t tiptoe around the obvious. The Post’s confusion over the fentanyl drop is just the latest example of their disconnect from the priorities of everyday Americans, particularly conservatives who’ve long demanded action on the border crisis.

Trump’s approach has been clear since day one of his second term. “We’re building the wall, and we’re stopping the drugs,” he declared at a rally in Arizona, doubling down on his campaign promise to secure the border. Unlike his predecessor, who seemed content to let Vice President Kamala Harris fumble through word salads about “root causes,” Trump has prioritized tangible results. Increased funding for CBP, advanced surveillance tech, and cooperation with Mexico to target cartel operations have all played a role. “We’re not just catching drugs; we’re stopping them before they even get here,” a senior CBP official stated in a recent briefing.

Of course, the Washington Post isn’t alone in its bewilderment. The left-leaning media has spent years downplaying the border crisis, often framing it as a humanitarian issue rather than a national security threat. Meanwhile, conservatives have consistently pointed to the link between lax border policies and the flood of fentanyl, much of it smuggled by cartels exploiting weak enforcement. The drop in seizures doesn’t mean less vigilance—it means fewer drugs are making it through. For once, the cartels are on the back foot, and the credit goes to a president who’s not afraid to call a spade a spade.

For conservatives, the decline in fentanyl seizures is a rare piece of good news in a world often dominated by doom-and-gloom headlines. It’s a reminder that electing a leader who prioritizes American safety over political correctness can yield results. The Washington Post may be mystified, but to the millions who voted for Trump, the answer is clear: leadership matters. And if the Post can’t figure that out, they might want to check their subscription numbers again, they’re probably still dropping.
