Horror: Islamist Group Beheads 70 Christians In Church; Media Silent

(DC Pundit) – In a horrific display of barbarity, seventy decapitated bodies have been discovered inside a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), according to Open Doors, an organization dedicated to supporting persecuted Christians worldwide. The suspected perpetrators? An Islamist group known as the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF). This unspeakable act of violence should send shockwaves through the conscience of the world, yet the mainstream media remains largely silent – a silence that speaks volumes about their skewed priorities.

It’s no surprise that the mainstream media is ignoring this story. They only care about stories that fit their narrative. Christians being beheaded by radical Islamists? That doesn’t fit the narrative. That doesn’t push the progressive agenda. So, they ignore it. It’s disgusting, but sadly, not surprising.

The gruesome discovery was made in a Protestant church in the town of Kasanga, located in the Lubero Territory of North Kivu province, late last week, Open Doors reported. While no group has officially claimed responsibility for the atrocity, Open Doors, along with numerous other organizations citing “field sources,” have pointed the finger at the ADF. The victims are believed to have been taken hostage days before their execution. The method of killing – beheading with machetes – is particularly brutal and reminiscent of the horrors inflicted by ISIS in the Middle East.

Alain Kiwewa, military administrator for the Lubero Territory, stated that he is investigating the incident, according to the Pan-African news agency Agence de Presse Africaine. However, “local sources suspect the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an Islamist group of Ugandan origin affiliated with the Islamic State, as well as local armed groups of being responsible for the massacre. These groups have maintained a climate of terror in the region for several months,” the agency reported. It also noted that the victims, who were “tied up and decapitated with knives,” had been kidnapped on February 12.

The silence from many corners is deafening. As American conservative anti-abortion activist Lila Rose pointed out on X: “Horrific. 70 Christians were brutally beheaded by an Islamist group inside a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo Where’s the media outrage? Pray for persecuted Christians.” Where indeed? It seems that only when a narrative aligns with their ideological agenda does the mainstream media find its voice.

The Hungarian State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians, Tristan Azbej, echoed Rose’s sentiment: “Horrified to learn about the 70 Christian martyrs beheaded by terrorists in a church in Kasanga, DRC. Hungary stands in solidarity with the persecuted Christians BUT we need more the world needs to recognize and act against Christian persecution.” It’s a sad indictment of our times that the persecution of Christians, particularly in certain parts of the world, is often downplayed or ignored by those who should be leading the charge in condemning such atrocities.

The left will jump at the opportunity to denounce any perceived injustice against any minority group, but when Christians are being slaughtered for their faith, they suddenly go silent. It’s hypocrisy at its finest.

An elder of the Evangelical Community in Central Africa poignantly captured the despair felt by the Christian community in the DRC, saying: “We don’t know what to do or how to pray. There have been too many massacres. May God’s will be done.” These are words born of unimaginable suffering and a testament to the unwavering faith of those who continue to endure unimaginable hardships.

The DRC has been mired in nearly continuous war and conflict for over three decades, but the recent surge in violence, fueled by the advancement of groups like the March 23 Movement (M23) and the ADF, has created a humanitarian crisis of immense proportions. The ADF’s reign of terror is one of the reasons Ugandan forces were recently deployed to eastern Congo to assist Congolese troops. It’s a desperate attempt to contain the escalating violence, but much more needs to be done to protect innocent civilians, particularly the vulnerable Christian population.

We must demand that our leaders and the media shine a light on the persecution of Christians around the world and take concrete action to hold the perpetrators accountable. We must also stand in solidarity with those who are suffering for their faith, offering them our prayers, support, and our unwavering commitment to their protection. The silence must end.

Indiana Man Arrested And Charged For Making Death Threats Targeting Elon Musk

(DC Pundit) – An Indiana man learned the hard way that freedom of speech doesn’t extend to making credible threats against the world’s richest man. David A. Cherry, 28, of Palmyra, Indiana, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony intimidation after allegedly posting menacing messages directed at Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of X, on the social media platform.

I can almost guarantee that Cherry is an angry liberal who can’t stand the fact that Musk took over Twitter and turned it into a free speech haven, instead of the left-wing echo chamber it used to be. They sure do get angry when they don’t get their way, don’t they?

According to reports, Indiana State Police officials were alerted early Tuesday morning by Texas law enforcement, who flagged an X user residing in southern Indiana for allegedly making threats against Musk earlier this month. While Texas authorities remained tight-lipped about the specifics of the threats, ISP detectives wasted no time launching an investigation and located Cherry in Clarksville.

After taking Cherry into custody, police executed a search warrant at his Palmyra home, where they reportedly discovered an AR-15-style rifle, a handgun, ammunition, and a ballistic vest. The presence of these items, though not illegal in themselves, certainly added weight to the credibility of the alleged threats. Cherry was subsequently booked into the Harrison County Jail on one count of Intimidation – a Level 5 Felony – and is currently being held without bond.

ISP Sgt. Carey Huls addressed the arrest on Wednesday, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation: “Obviously it’s a situation where you have somebody makes public statements on a social media network for everybody to see – threats against another person – and that has to be taken very seriously.”

Huls went on to reference a tragic incident from December of last year, in which UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in Manhattan. “Had there been some type of a social media post prior to that that could have been looked into and prevented something like this?” Huls asked, highlighting the importance of taking potential threats seriously in today’s volatile climate. “So we can’t take those chances in this day and age to put something that’s very inflammatory, specific towards a person and just expect that to go without us looking into it. It’s a serious offense. Again, life-threatening statements.” A fair point. It’s always better to be proactive when dealing with potentially dangerous situations.

You never know when some unhinged lunatic is going to actually follow through on their threats. Look at what happened to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, for example. A crazed leftist showed up at his house with a gun, planning to assassinate him. Fortunately, he was caught before he could carry out his evil plan. This just goes to show you how unhinged the left has become.

Huls continued, explaining that detectives “applied for a search warrant, did go to the individual’s house, where they found some other information that would relate to those statements to basically corroborate and say, yes, this is a possibility. This could have been his thoughts.”

While expressing opinions and engaging in political discourse are fundamental rights, threatening violence against individuals is never acceptable.

Just when you thought the Biden administration couldn’t possibly find new and creative ways to squander taxpayer dollars, Elon Musk’s DOGE has unearthed a doozy: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under President Joe Biden, awarded a staggering $2 billion to a firm linked to none other than Stacey Abrams, the failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate who still hasn’t quite conceded her loss. This is not just some run-of-the-mill bureaucratic blunder; it smells like a swamp creature trying to hide its ill-gotten gains.

To add insult to injury, this lucky firm, Power Forward Communities, reportedly only managed to scrape together a measly $100 in revenue during its first three months of operation in 2023. Yes, you read that right. One hundred dollars. That’s less than what most people spend on their morning coffee run during that same time frame! How in the world does an organization with such a dismal financial track record land a $2 billion jackpot courtesy of the U.S. government? Something is definitely rotten in Washington, and it’s not just the usual political stench.

Earlier this month, Lee Zeldin provided an update on the eye-watering sums wasted under Biden’s watch, spurred by undercover video footage released by Project Veritas in December. Apparently, EPA Advisor Brent Efron spilled the beans on camera, admitting to an “insurance policy” against the Trump administration and revealing that the agency was frantically funneling billions to climate organizations in a last-minute heist.

“We’re throwing gold bars off the Titanic,” Efron brazenly told a Project Veritas undercover journalist. You’ve got to admire the honesty, even if it’s dripping with contempt for the American taxpayer.

Zeldin seems to be trying to clean up this mess. As he announced last week, his team at the EPA has “found the gold bars.” He elaborated, stating that “roughly $20 billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA. This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposely designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight.” In other words, a blatant attempt to bypass accountability and funnel money to favored groups before the adults could get back into the room.

According to Zeldin, this $20 billion was “awarded to just 8 entities that were then responsible for doling out your money to NGOs and others at their discretion with far less transparency. Just under $7 billion was sent to one entity called the Climate United Fund.” So, essentially, a select group of organizations got to play Santa Claus with taxpayer funds, handing out goodies with minimal oversight. What could possibly go wrong?

The Free Beacon, doing the job the mainstream media refuses to do, revealed that a staggering $2 billion of that recovered $20 billion was awarded to Power Forward Communities, the aforementioned brand-new nonprofit with ties to Stacey Abrams. Color me shocked.

Zeldin, clearly as aghast as the rest of us, responded to the Free Beacon’s report: “It’s extremely concerning that an organization that reported just $100 in revenue in 2023 was chosen to receive $2 billion. That’s 20 million times the organization’s reported revenue.”

The Free Beacon further reported: “DOGE discovered $2 billion in taxpayer funds set aside for a fledgling nonprofit linked to perennial Georgia Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams. The Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden administration awarded Power Forward Communities the grant in April 2024 as part of the agency’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant despite the fact that it was founded months earlier in late 2023 and never managed anywhere near the grant’s dollar figure—it reported just $100 in total revenue during its first three months in operation, according to its latest tax filings. Power Forward Communities’ grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government’s oversight of the program.”

It’s time for a thorough investigation and a serious reckoning for those responsible for this “gold bar” heist. The American people deserve better than to have their hard-earned money funneled to politically connected groups with little to show for it.

(DC Pundit) – In news that could be ripped straight from the pages of a dystopian novel, authorities in Maryland have apprehended members of what’s being described as a “transgender vegan cult” linked to a string of unsettling deaths across the country.

It seems the Left has gone off the rails again, with this latest story being a shocking example of how they have embraced trans ideology. This should come as a surprise to no one, as it is the natural progression of the insanity they push on a daily basis.

Among those taken into custody were 34-year-old Jack LaSota, allegedly the ringleader of this bizarre outfit, and 33-year-old Michelle Zajko, according to a report in the Telegraph. Think Charles Manson meets Rachel Levine, and you’re halfway there.

Independent journalist Andy Ngô, who has been diligently reporting on Antifa and other left-wing extremist groups, shared images of the suspects, noting they were armed when apprehended in Allegheny County. I guess kale smoothies and pronouns weren’t enough to quell their violent tendencies.

Zajko apparently has a flair for the dramatic, as Ngô reported she “pretended to be dead in her first booking photo.”

But the story gets even stranger. Ngô reported that “Zajko, who is trans nonbinary, comes from a well-to-do family in Delaware County, Pa. In late 2022, her parents were shot execution-style at their home on New Year’s Eve. Zajko was the sole inheritor of her parents’ assets after her grandmother also died shortly soon after.” Talk about a family tragedy – or perhaps something more sinister? The timing is, shall we say, suspicious.

Another member of this peculiar group, Daniel Arthur Blank, was also arrested. Ngô stated that “Blank had been missing from his family since late 2022. There were rumors he had died but this was another lie.”

LaSota and Zajko are currently facing charges, including trespassing, obstructing and hindering, and possession of a handgun in the vehicle, according to the Associated Press.

The Telegraph has reported that “The Zizians have been tied to the killing of U.S. Border Patrol Agent David Maland near the Canadian border in January and five other homicides in Vermont, Pennsylvania and California.” Maland, 44, was tragically killed in a January 20th shootout following a traffic stop in Coventry, Vermont.

The cross-country investigation is still ongoing, but it appears that “a group of young, highly intelligent computer scientists, most of them in their 20s and 30s, met online, shared anarchist beliefs, and became increasingly violent.”

LaSota’s descent into cult leadership appears to have began several years ago. Ngô shared video footage of LaSota when he was just 22 years old and interning for NASA. He started recruiting members for his trans group in 2017 “and began wearing black robes.” According to Ngô, LaSota “used the name ‘Andrea Phelps’ and identifies as ‘she/her.’ LaSota faked his death in 2022 and is a person of interest in multiple homicides in California and Pennsylvania. He is accused of influencing or directing his trans comrades to kill people.”

This “transgender vegan cult” is a chilling example of how radical left ideologies, combined with internet echo chambers and a disregard for human life, can lead to horrific tragedy.

Erivo, fresh off her GLAAD award win for being a beacon of LGBTQ visibility, is set to don the sandals and robe for three nights this August.

GLAAD president Sarah Kate Ellis couldn’t contain her excitement, gushing about Erivo’s commitment to authenticity and intersectionality, stating, “Her legacy is defined not by her numerous accolades and honors but by how with each new platform and milestone, she continues to show up for Black, queer and other marginalized peoples amid her well-deserved success. As she continues to shatter glass ceilings, I am certain her commitment to showing up as the intersectional and authentic person she is will never falter, and it is a privilege to present her with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at this year’s GLAAD Media Awards.”

Erivo isn’t just content with her attempt to redefine biblical iconography; she’s also hoping to snag an Oscar for her role in Wicked.

However, it’s not all glitter and show tunes in Erivo’s world. Back in 2018, she showed a different side of herself when she threatened President Donald Trump with witchcraft, after Trump’s infamous “sh*thole countries” comment.

“I hope all the Africans in this world call on their ancestors,” she declared. “Don’t worry Donald, we are the wrong ones.” She then proceeded to warn Trump that he wasn’t safe, even on another continent, and that “Wahala” (trouble) was coming for him.

The entertainment industry’s quest for inclusivity has reached biblical proportions and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ is about to get a makeover that even the most skilled Roman centurion couldn’t have seen coming.

(DC Pundit) – Elon Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) has just dropped a financial bombshell. The DOGE, affectionately dubbed the “nerd army”, has been busy uncovering more waste than you’ll find in the Puente Hills Landfill.

“DOGE’s total estimated savings are $55 billion,” proudly proclaims the doge.gov website, which promises to update twice a week.

The savings have been spread across various departments, with USAID, Education, Health and Human Services, and Agriculture taking the brunt of the fiscal haircut. It seems the government’s insanely expensive subscriptions to Politico didn’t make the cut either.

They’ve also revealed that nearly $5 trillion in untraceable payments have been found. That’s right, trillion with a ‘T’.

While Trump and Musk are basking in the glow of their fiscal feng shui, not everyone’s thrilled. Democrats and government workers are taking to the streets in protest.

Trump, never one to shy away from a bit of drama, has been quick to defend Musk’s efforts. “This guy’s a brilliant guy. He’s a great guy. He’s got tremendous and scientific imagination,” the president declared to Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “But he’s also a good person. He’s a very good person, and he wants to see the country do well.”

Meanwhile, the White House has been busy clarifying Musk’s role. Court papers now describe him as a “senior adviser to the president” with “no greater authority than other senior White House advisors.”

Whether this financial spring cleaning will truly lead to a leaner, meaner government remains to be seen. But for now, it seems the “nerd army” is marching on, one canceled subscription at a time.

(DC Pundit) – Michael Steele, former RNC chairman turned MSNBC darling, provided the latest sideshow in politics. It seems Steele has traded in his elephant pin for a clown nose, performing an impressive acrobatic act of logic-defying outrage over the weekend.

Steele, who once captained the GOP ship with all the success of the Titanic’s maiden voyage, now finds himself more at home in the echo chambers of MSNBC. There, he can freely unleash his anti-Trump tirades without the pesky inconvenience of actually having to win elections.

In a display that would make your high school drama teacher proud, Steele launched into a diatribe against Elon Musk and his involvement with DOGE. “I’d just like you to show that you give a damn!” Steele bellowed. One has to wonder where this passion was when he was at the helm of the RNC, guiding Republicans to glorious… defeats.

But Steele wasn’t done. Oh no, he was just warming up. “They’re in your bedrooms! They’re in your living rooms!” he continued, painting a picture of Musk as some sort of omnipresent, tech-savvy villain. “Elon Musk has his tentacles in everything you’re doing!” Steele added, apparently unaware that octopus metaphors went out of style long ago.

It’s truly a spectacle to behold: a man who once led the Republican Party now frothing at the mouth over the very idea of innovation and progress.

The irony of Steele’s meltdown is as thick as the fog of confusion that seems to perpetually surround him. Here’s a man who presided over some of the GOP’s most lackluster performances, now criticizing others for their success and influence. It’s like watching a Little League coach critique the World Series.

Michael Steele has found his true calling. Not as a political strategist, not as a party leader, but as a carnival barker, shouting into the void about the boogeymen of his own creation. And while Elon Musk continues to innovate and influence, Steele will be there, on MSNBC, telling us all how the sky is falling.

Perhaps it’s time for Steele to remember the old adage: it’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

(DC Pundit) – Tom Hanks decided to dust off his MAGA hat for Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special. Because nothing says “celebration” quite like rehashing a politically charged character from 2016, right?

The skit in question featured Hanks on a parody game show called “Black Jeopardy,” where his Trump-supporting character initially recoils from shaking the Black host’s hand. It’s almost as if SNL’s writers haven’t noticed that we’ve moved on to new political talking points in the last eight years.

Clay Travis, founder of Outkick, couldn’t resist pointing out the irony on X: “For its 50-year anniversary special, SNL had Tom Hanks play a racist Trump supporter afraid to shake a black man’s hand. Fun fact: Trump’s 2024 election win was the LEAST racially divisive American election since 1964.”

Hanks’ return to his MAGA alter ego has reignited the internet rumor mill, churning out wild theories faster than a conspiracy theorist on espresso. The most persistent of these claims? That Tom Hanks, America’s dad, is secretly hiding a dark past.

Back in 2020, social media was ablaze with the theory that Hanks had become a Greek citizen because pedophilia is considered a disability in Greece.

These rumors went so far as to suggest that Hanks’ coronavirus quarantine in Australia was just a cover-up for an arrest on pedophilia charges. Apparently, Australian authorities have nothing better to do than help Hollywood stars concoct elaborate alibis.

Let’s set the record straight: There’s zero evidence of Hanks being arrested for pedophilia. If such an arrest had occurred, it would’ve been front-page news faster than you can say “Wilson!”

As for the Greek citizenship theory, it turns out pedophilia isn’t considered a disability under Greek law. A proposal to that effect was indeed floated but was met with such public outrage that it was quickly withdrawn.

Now, I’m no Tinseltown apologist. Hollywood has its fair share of skeletons in the closet, and some of them are wearing designer suits. It’s a sick, evil, disgusting place. But accusing someone of such heinous crimes without a shred of evidence? That’s playing a dangerous game, folks.

Could the rumors be true? Sure, it’s possible. But with what we know today, highly improbable. And let’s be honest, part of me wants to keep the wholesome image of Hanks intact. After all, this is the man who played Forrest Gump and Mister Rogers – tarnishing that image feels like telling a kid Santa isn’t real.

Here’s the bottom line: In America, we operate on the principle of innocent until proven guilty. To do otherwise would be to stoop to the level of those who spent years trying to smear President Donald Trump with baseless accusations. And I, for one, refuse to play that game.

So, until someone comes forward with actual evidence, let’s stick to critiquing Hanks for his choice in SNL characters rather than imaginary crimes. After all, there’s plenty of material there to work with.

(DC Pundit) – Darius Dinkins, a self-proclaimed ‘comedian’ from Brooklyn, recently took to TikTok to showcase his unique brand of humor.

Spoiler alert: it wasn’t funny. Dinkins, in what can only be described as a terribly misguided attempt at social commentary, suggested that someone should “take one for the team” and “make history” by targeting President Trump and Elon Musk.

Nothing says “comedy gold” quite like thinly veiled threats against public figures, right?

Musk responded with this quote: “Everyone dies, but not everybody lives.”

Dinkins isn’t the only one to take aim at Musk. Dr. Steve Caudle, a pastor who seems to have forgotten the “turn the other cheek” reference in Matthew 5:39, during what was presumably meant to be a spiritual sermon, took a sharp left turn into the realm of political commentary, suggesting that violence might be necessary to stop Musk from… checks notes… saving taxpayer money.

Apparently, advocating for violence against a guy trying to balance the budget qualifies as “Christian values” these days, at least in the mind of Dr. Caudle.

“Sometimes the Devil will act so ugly that you have NO CHOICE but to get violent and fight!” he proclaimed, while conveniently ignoring several key commandments.

These incidents come after the near-assassination attempt on Trump by a Democrat donor. One might almost think there’s a pattern emerging, but that would require a level of self-awareness that seems to be in short supply these days.

While the left continues to paint conservatives as the harbingers of hatred and violence, their own actions speak louder than any Tucker Carlson monologue ever could. It seems they are determined to win a gold medal in mental gymnastics.

Their routine?

Accusing others of the very behaviors they’re guilty of, all while maintaining a straight face that would make even the most botoxed Hollywood star jealous.

The 70-year-old comedy legend was minding his own business when approached by an Instagram provocateur known as “Subway DJ.” This social media influencer, clearly auditioning for his own 15 minutes of fame, asked Seinfeld for a selfie.

As Seinfeld, ever the good sport, posed for the picture, “Subway DJ” dropped his punchline: “Free Palestine,” he declared, flashing a peace sign that would make even George Costanza cringe. Undeterred by Seinfeld’s lack of reaction, he pressed on with a hopeful “Maybe?”

But Seinfeld fired back with a response as crisp as a freshly laundered puffy shirt: “I don’t care about Palestine.” And with that, he walked away with his wife Jessica, leaving “Subway DJ” to ponder the failed ambush.

The activist, not quite ready to exit stage left, managed a weak “That’s sad” with an exaggerated frown that would put any failed actor to shame.

This encounter, brief as it was, highlighted Seinfeld’s unwavering support for Israel in the wake of the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attack. While some celebrities might dodge this topic faster than Newman avoiding his mail route, Seinfeld has remained steadfast in his position, seemingly unbothered by the protests that have targeted him. Much like his iconic TV persona, he remains unflappable in the face of unexpected confrontations.
