URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Some politicians in Washington are careful with their words, choosing them with the precision of a surgeon. Others… not so much. Senator Lindsey Graham falls squarely into the second category.
The South Carolina Republican — known as a RINO by conservatives frustrated with his long history of interventionist foreign policy — appeared on Sunday Morning Futures with host Maria Bartiromo and seemed positively thrilled while discussing the ongoing military pressure on Iran.
Graham spoke enthusiastically about airstrikes connected to “Operation Epic Fury,” which has involved Israeli and American military actions targeting Iranian assets. While discussing the situation, Graham sounded less like a cautious lawmaker and more like someone already planning the next stop on a geopolitical tour.
The senator then pivoted from Iran to the communist island just 90 miles from Florida’s coast, a nation that has been under authoritarian rule for decades. The United States has maintained tense relations with Cuba since the Cold War, and the island’s regime remains a point of contention in American politics, particularly among Cuban-American voters in Florida.
Graham appeared eager to expand the conversation.
During the interview, he even pulled out a hat promoting Cuban freedom while suggesting that bigger changes could be coming. The senator hinted that once hostile regimes are confronted, momentum could carry forward elsewhere.
He didn’t exactly whisper the idea either.
“Iran is going down, and Cuba is next!” Graham boasted.
Graham: You see this hat? Free Cuba. Stay tuned. The liberation of Cuba is upon us. We’re marching through the world. Iran is going down and Cuba is next. pic.twitter.com/yv8g8LTM9g

To be clear, there has been ongoing speculation in political circles that if the Trump administration succeeds in weakening the Iranian regime and opening the door to democratic reforms, it could inspire broader pressure against other authoritarian governments. That discussion, however, usually happens in think tanks and policy circles — not with celebratory hats on cable television.
For many conservatives who prioritize an America First foreign policy, Graham’s enthusiasm raises familiar concerns about the old guard of Washington foreign policy thinkers who never seem to meet a regime change they don’t like.
