(DC Pundit) – Former Presidents Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden descended upon Chicago, Illinois this week for Jesse Jackson’s memorial service, and what should have been a dignified farewell quickly devolved into exactly what you’d expect from the left: a political hit job on President Trump’s administration.
Hillary Clinton and Jill Biden were also in attendance at the service honoring the controversial civil rights activist, who passed away last month at the age of 84 after battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurodegenerative disorder.
True to form, failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris couldn’t resist injecting her now-infamous fake accent.
“Let me just say I predicted a lot about what’s happening right now. I’m not into saying I told you so but we did see it coming,” Harris proclaimed, apparently unable to resist patting herself on the back even at a memorial service.
“But what I did not predict is that we would not have Jesse Jackson with us right now to help us get through this,” she continued, managing to make the moment about her political grievances rather than honoring the deceased.

But Harris was just the warm-up act. Barack Obama took the stage and fully transformed Jesse Jackson’s funeral into a political circus, launching into a bitter tirade against the Trump administration.
“Everywhere we see greed and bigotry being celebrated, and bullying and mockery masquerading as strength,” Obama declared, apparently forgetting that funerals are typically about the person who died, not about trying to score cheap political points.
He wasn’t finished. “We see science and expertise denigrated while ignorance and dishonesty and cruelty and corruption are reaping untold rewards,” Obama continued his rant. “Every single day we see that, and it’s hard to hope,” he said.

The audacity of turning a memorial service into a campaign rally is staggering, even by Democrat standards. But then again, this is the same party that politicizes everything from natural disasters to sporting events, so why should funerals be off-limits?
Biden also made an appearance, telling the congregation, “I am a hell of lot smarter than most of you.” Nothing screams respect and decorum quite like insulting mourners at a funeral.

This shameful display is precisely why Americans are tired of the Democrat establishment’s endless grievance theater. Even death can’t stop them from grandstanding.
