(DC Pundit) – Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has discovered documents, hidden away for ten years, that she says directly tie former President Barack Obama to the false narrative that Donald Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.
In other words, the man who promised “hope and change” was orchestrating an intelligence hit job against his political enemy.
The irony is painful. For years, Democrats and the corporate press pushed the conspiracy theory that Trump had secretly partnered with Moscow to cheat his way into the White House. Yet now, thanks to Gabbard’s discovery, we see the opposite: Obama was leading the charge to destroy Donald Trump.
The same president hailed as a unifying figure has been exposed as the one who worked behind the scenes to fracture the nation’s trust in its own elections.

For Republicans, none of this is exactly shocking. The Russia hoax has always reeked of political theater designed to undermine President Trump’s victory and cripple his ability to govern. What makes this moment different is that we finally have a name at the top of the chain of command — and it’s not some faceless bureaucrat. It’s Barack Obama himself.
The legacy of the Obama years was sold as history-making progress. But if these documents are what they appear to be, history may remember them for something else entirely: a former president who weaponized intelligence against the will of the American people.
