(DC Pundit) – Antifa extremists once again proved they’re not just a ragtag group of “peaceful protesters,” but a violent mob hellbent on chaos. On Tuesday afternoon, masked radicals surrounded a federal building in Eugene, Oregon, pounding on doors and windows while blocking employees from leaving. The scene looked less like a “protest” and more like a coordinated siege.
The timing of this stunt wasn’t random. Just one day earlier, President Trump signed an executive order officially designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The order very clearly stated: “Antifa is a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.”

Well, if anyone was wondering whether Antifa would rush to prove Trump right, Eugene gave the answer. With their faces hidden behind masks, they set up at the building’s entrances and exits, essentially trapping federal workers inside. According to reporter Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial, employees had to sneak out through alternative exits just to escape the mob.

Federal officers weren’t about to sit back and let anarchists run the show. Several arrests were made on the spot.

Though, as we’ve seen time and again, it’s a safe bet that some activist judge will let the offenders walk free faster than it takes Antifa to light another dumpster fire.
