(DC Pundit) – Three innocent Americans are dead this week because an illegal alien truck driver made a reckless and illegal U-turn on a Florida highway. It’s yet another grim reminder of what happens when weak border policies collide with real life.
The driver, Harjinder Singh, entered the U.S. illegally in 2018 by crossing through Mexico. Instead of being sent back, he managed to settle in the Democrat-run sanctuary state of California, where he somehow obtained a commercial driver’s license. Yes, the same California that bends over backwards to give illegal aliens privileges most law-abiding citizens struggle to get. The result? Singh was behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler on Florida’s Turnpike near Fort Pierce this week — and three people paid the ultimate price for it.
According to authorities, Singh made an illegal U-turn across the highway, cutting directly into the path of a minivan. The violent collision destroyed the vehicle and killed three people inside. Dashcam footage from the aftermath shows Singh strolling away from the wreckage looking disturbingly calm, as if three lives hadn’t just been wiped out by his reckless decision. No panic. No emotion. Just casual indifference.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced that Singh has been arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide. Dave Kerner, the agency’s executive director, made it clear what comes next: “At the conclusion of his state charges, he will be deported.” Frankly, deportation is the bare minimum.
The American Trucking Industry has been gutted by unregulated immigration over the past five years. These “California ” drivers are part of an eco system that puts profit over safety. That puts greed before your family.

On Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that Singh entered the country illegally, adding another painful detail to a story that should anger every single American. A man who had no right to be here was given the ability to drive a semi-truck legally — thanks to sanctuary state policies — and now loved ones are grieving three people who should still be alive today.

When Democrats boast about protecting “undocumented immigrants,” what they’re really protecting is the next Harjinder Singh. The next criminal who never should have been in the United States in the first place.
Let’s be clear: no amount of spin can explain away the fact that sanctuary policies enabled this tragedy. Without them, Singh would not have had a CDL, and three Americans would not be dead. Yet Democrats continue pretending there’s no downside to ignoring immigration law. Tell that to the families in Florida who now have empty chairs at the dinner table.
Florida officials deserve credit for making it clear Singh will be held accountable and removed from this country once the state’s case is done. But accountability after the fact is not justice for the lives already lost. The real justice would have been preventing this man from being on the road in the first place.
