(DC Pundit) – Woke isn’t dead, in fact, it’s strutting down the runway in lingerie. Alex Consani, a man who pretends to be a woman, is celebrating his latest milestone: officially becoming a Victoria’s Secret angel for the 2025 runway show.
“Can’t stop smiling! So happy to have the opportunity to shoot with the baddest group of girls and the best team there is!” Consani wrote in an Instagram post, sharing behind-the-scenes images from the photoshoot — including a “tuck kit” meant to minimize the visibility of his genitals. Nothing says fashion like packing your genitals into a kit and calling it glamour.
Consani first appeared on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk last year, becoming one of the first transgender models featured in the brand’s fashion show alongside Valentina Sampaio. Last year also saw Consani, who has walked for Chanel and Stella McCartney, take home the Model of the Year award at the 2024 Fashion Awards in London, the first transgender winner in the award’s history.
“I’m the first trans woman to win this award,” Consani said, eliciting polite applause from the crowd. “But I can’t accept this award without thinking of those that came before me, and specifically the black trans women that really fought for this space that I’m in tonight.” One can’t help but notice the fashion industry continuing to highlight identity over artistry.

Consani also thanked his parents for supporting his modeling dreams from age 12. “And that’s something that I think a lot of other parents of trans children should follow,” he added. Social media clearly agrees — the model has over six million followers on TikTok, a platform where visibility often trumps talent. After signing with IMG Models in 2019, Consani debuted on the Tom Ford runway in 2021, proving that the industry rewards self-branding as much as modeling skill.

The Model of the Year award is determined by a combination of industry panel decisions and public votes, honoring those considered to have “dominated the industry” or made a “global impact” over the last twelve months. Last year’s nominees included black transgender model Kai-Isaiah Jamal, though plus-size model Paloma Elsesser ultimately claimed the prize.
Alex Consani’s 2025 angel debut is more than just a runway appearance, it’s a clear sign that the left’s cultural agenda is alive, well, and packing a “tuck kit” for the cameras.
