(DC Pundit) – Former President Bill Clinton is once again making headlines, this time over his health, just weeks before he and Hillary are set to testify before Congress on their long-time associate Jeffrey Epstein.
The Daily Mail reported that a visibly frail Clinton was spotted with Hillary at a Hamptons airport on Thursday. The most eye-catching detail wasn’t the usual Secret Service presence, but rather the Propaq MD Air Medical Bag being carried — a lightweight transport monitor and defibrillator. When your airport accessories include life-saving equipment, it’s safe to say questions are going to be asked.
Bill, wearing a tan hat, looked every bit the weary 79-year-old while his security team carried the device. Hillary, sporting a black sweatshirt over a blue two-piece outfit, trailed beside him as the pair prepared to leave.
This public sighting comes at a politically awkward moment. Both Clintons were subpoenaed earlier this month by the House Oversight Committee as part of its investigation into the government’s handling of the Epstein case. Hillary’s name, as many remember, has appeared in the infamous Epstein files. Bill is set to testify on October 14, while Hillary is scheduled for October 9. In other words, the countdown clock is ticking.

Critics have pointed out the rather “convenient” timing of this latest health concern, though supporters insist it’s just coincidence. Then again, Bill Clinton’s history of medical issues is no secret. In 2004, he suffered a heart attack that required bypass surgery. Six years later, chest pains sent him back to the same New York hospital. And in 2023, he landed in the hospital again with a fever right before Christmas. Whether flu or something more serious, his health troubles are an undeniable pattern.

For conservatives, the bigger question isn’t about Clinton’s stamina but about accountability. Epstein’s ties to the Clintons have long been a matter of public interest, and Congress now has them both under oath in a matter of weeks. Watching Bill stroll with a defibrillator at arm’s length may raise eyebrows, but the looming testimonies promise to raise far more pressing questions.
We can only hope that no matter how frail Clinton looks, the heat he and Hillary will face on Capitol Hill won’t be something a portable defibrillator can fix.
