Iron Man Meets MAGA: Fetterman Warns Elon Musk Could Be Trump’s Real-Life Tony Stark In Battleground States!

(DC Pundit) – Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman is sounding the alarm regarding Elon Musk’s growing influence in the 2024 presidential race. The world’s richest man has been actively campaigning for former President Donald Trump, causing concern among Democrats in key battleground states.

“Musk is a concern,” Fetterman told the New York Post. “Not even just that he has endorsed [Trump], but the fact that now he’s becoming an active participant and showing up and doing rallies and things like that.”

The senator compared Musk to a popular comic book character, saying, “I mean, [Musk] is incredibly successful, and, you know, I think some people would see him as, like, a Tony Stark.”

Fetterman warned his fellow Democrats not to underestimate Musk’s appeal. “Democrats, you know, kind of make light of it, or they make fun of him jumping up and down and things like that. And I would just say that they are doing that at our peril,” he cautioned.

The tech billionaire’s recent appearance at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, caught attention. Musk embraced what he called “dark MAGA” and praised Trump’s resilience after the attempted assassination on his life. “The true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs, and another who was fist pumping after getting shot. Fight! Fight! Fight! Blood coming down his face,” Musk told the crowd.

He went on to emphasize Trump’s independence, declaring, “But you have to have that mandate from the president, and we need a real president, not a puppet. The thing that scares the system, that scares the machine, is that Donald Trump is not a puppet. He’s a real person and he’s not beholden to anyone and that’s why, you see sort of, that they’re trying to kill him.”

Fetterman believes the race in Pennsylvania will be “ridiculously close.” And, he acknowledged Trump’s strong connection with voters in the state, saying, “Trump has a connection that’s undeniable. And anyone that spends any time across Pennsylvania can see that kind of devotion and that’s why it’s going to be very close.”

The senator also highlighted Pennsylvania’s crucial role in the election, stating, “Pennsylvania picks the president.” He reminded everyone that “[President Joe] Biden is the only person that’s ever beaten Trump.”

Concerning the Democratic Party’s handling of the race, Fetterman described the process of replacing Biden on the ticket as a “total blowtorch.” He pointed out the various forces at play, including “the Democratic side, you have the ongoing, right wing media, and the celebrities got involved in it as well, too. And then the New York Times became the, ‘he’s got to go’ outlet throughout all that as well.”

When asked about Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, Fetterman offered a somewhat tepid assessment, saying, “Harris could not have run a better campaign than she has so far right now.”

As the 2024 election draws closer, the impact of a high-profile supporter like Elon Musk could prove decisive in swing states such as Pennsylvania.
