PATHETIC: Former Wisconsin Judge Gets A Slap On The Wrist For Helping Illegal Alien Slip Out A Back Door To Evade ICE (VIDEO)

(DC Pundit) – A former Wisconsin judge who was convicted of felony obstruction for actively helping an illegal alien evade federal law enforcement walked out of a federal courtroom Wednesday with nothing more than a $5,000 fine. No prison time. No real consequences. Just a polite lecture and a pat on the head.

U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman, a Clinton appointee, naturally, handed down the embarrassingly light sentence to Hannah Dugan, 67, citing her “otherwise law-abiding life.” Adelman summarized the whole affair with breathtaking understatement: “I think this is a situation where an otherwise good person, upset by immigration policies in this country, made a bad decision in the moment.”

A bad decision in the moment. Sure. That’s one way to describe a sitting judge deliberately obstructing federal agents, steering a defendant through a private jury door to help him flee, and triggering a foot chase through a courthouse corridor. Most people would call that a felony. A jury did, in fact, call it exactly that.

Here’s what happened on April 18, 2025. Immigration officers arrived at the Milwaukee County courthouse after learning that Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, 31, had reentered the country illegally and was scheduled to appear before Dugan in a state battery case. Dugan confronted the agents outside her courtroom and redirected them to the chief judge’s office, claiming their administrative warrant wasn’t sufficient. Then, after the agents stepped away, she personally escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney out through a private jury door. Agents spotted Flores-Ruiz in a corridor, chased him outside, and arrested him anyway. Flores-Ruiz was subsequently deported in November.

So let’s be clear: her little act of judicial defiance didn’t even work. ICE got their man. It just cost Dugan her career, her reputation, and according to the judge, forced her to move and stop attending community events. Tragic.

Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Frohling laid it out plainly: “Judges are entrusted with tremendous discretion, but there is a line they cannot cross. The defendant crossed that line.” Federal sentencing guidelines called for 15 to 21 months behind bars. Frohling’s sentencing memo argued that “this was a serious offense, and it warrants a correspondingly serious sentence.”

Dugan addressed the court and insisted her actions were not malicious but were meant to maintain the “decorum and safety of the courtroom.” She added: “I have been cast as both a scofflaw and a hero. I am neither. I am a public servant who’s just trying to do my job.”

Helping an illegal alien escape federal agents isn’t doing your job. It’s the opposite of doing your job.

Dugan had already resigned her Milwaukee County circuit judgeship in January under threat of impeachment from Republican state lawmakers who accurately labeled her an activist judge. Wisconsin Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany, a Trump loyalist running for governor, had called on authorities to “lock her up” following her conviction.

Her attorneys say they will appeal the felony obstruction conviction. Meanwhile, a $5,000 fine for obstructing federal immigration enforcement sends a crystal clear message to every activist judge in America: the consequences are minimal. That’s a problem President Trump’s administration should not let stand.

Illegal Alien Trucker Who Failed His English Proficiency Test Kills College Soccer Star, Then Tries To Destroy Evidence

(DC Pundit) – This is a story the mainstream media would rather quietly bury. A young man with his whole life ahead of him is dead, killed in the early morning hours of July 5th on an Ohio interstate, and the driver who struck him allegedly tampered with dashcam footage before investigators could get to it.

Tobias “Toby” Forsythe, 21, a goalkeeper for the UMass Lowell men’s soccer team, was driving on Interstate 71 in Madison County, Ohio around 1:37 a.m. when a semi-truck driven by Bekhzod Asrarov, 42, an Uzbek national in the country illegally who could not speak English, rear-ended his vehicle. The force of the collision sent the truck across the median and into northbound lanes, triggering additional crashes. Forsythe was pronounced dead at the scene.

Asrarov survived with non-life-threatening injuries. And while Forsythe lay dying, Asrarov allegedly used that time to tamper with his dashcam to conceal evidence of what had just happened. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has since charged him with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.

Forsythe was from Gahanna, Ohio, and had carved out a solid collegiate career, playing two seasons at Ashland University and one at Shawnee State before transferring to UMass Lowell. He had a future. Now he doesn’t.

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy posted on X: “Tobias ‘Toby’ Forsythe was just 21, a star goalie for the UMass Lowell soccer team with his whole life ahead of him. On Sunday, his life was stolen.”

Stolen is exactly the right word.

This tragedy connects to a much larger and deeply troubling problem that Americans deserve to hear about honestly. Safety experts estimate that as many as 130,000 illegal-alien truck drivers may be operating on American roads right now, with tens of thousands believed to have obtained their Commercial Driver’s Licenses through fraudulent means. Many cannot speak English, cannot read road signs, and are piloting 80,000-pound vehicles at highway speeds through the middle of the night. The consequences of that reality have become, as this case devastatingly illustrates, far too frequent.

A CDL is not supposed to be a participation trophy. It requires knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and basic communication with emergency personnel, all things that require English proficiency. The fact that tens of thousands of people who cannot meet that basic standard are allegedly behind the wheels of commercial trucks on American highways is a policy failure of the highest order.

Toby Forsythe wanted to play soccer. He wanted to have a career, a family, a life. Instead, his story ends on a dark Ohio interstate at 1:37 in the morning because the system that was supposed to keep dangerous, unqualified drivers off the road failed him completely.

President Trump has made border security and immigration enforcement central priorities of his administration. Cases like this are precisely why. No more excuses. No more looking away.

Rest in peace, Toby.

(DC Pundit) – If you needed any more proof that Antifa operates as a domestic terrorist organization, look no further than what happened in Oregon during the early morning hours of Sunday.

Conservative activist and livestreamer known as “Tommy TV” reported that Antifa members launched a violent attack on his home at 3:30 in the morning.

According to his account posted on X, the attackers hurled a brick through his bedroom window and then sprayed bear mace directly into the room, hitting him, his wife, and their dog. All the tires on the family’s vehicle were also slashed, something Tommy says has happened before. So this wasn’t a random act of stupidity. This was a coordinated, targeted attack on a man and his family while they slept.

Tommy called it exactly what it is: terrorism. He connected the assault directly to his work documenting Antifa violence and their public calls for attacks on ICE agents and President Donald Trump. The streamer believes the group obtained his home address through doxxing that began when he and his wife previously lived in Seattle. He also pointed the finger at Seattle police, alleging they leaked his personal information. If true, that’s deeply alarming and demands a serious investigation.

Tommy posted video footage from inside the bedroom showing the shattered window, glass scattered across the floor, and bedding and pillows stained heavily from the bear mace. His wife suffered the worst of the exposure, and he made a point of emphasizing that she had done absolutely nothing to warrant being targeted. She’s guilty of being married to someone who holds the radical position of, apparently, documenting left-wing violence.

Journalist Andy Ngo, who has spent years covering Antifa and their tactics at considerable personal risk, weighed in on the incident. Ngo noted that violently terrorizing people and their families inside their own homes is a standard Antifa method, which is precisely why obtaining and releasing home addresses, doxxing, is so central to how they operate. It’s an intimidation campaign, plain and simple.

This is what the mainstream media refuses to cover honestly. These aren’t “mostly peaceful protesters.” These are organized thugs who conduct nighttime raids on private residences to silence people they disagree with. The fact that a man’s wife and pet were injured in a 3 AM chemical attack on their bedroom, and it barely registers as a blip in national news coverage, tells you everything you need to know about how the press treats violence when the victims are on the opposite side of the political spectrum.

Tommy and his family didn’t deserve this. And Americans deserve a media that calls this what it is: terrorism.

(DC Pundit) – Leave it to The View to make the American flag the villain.

Co-host Sunny Hostin declared on Monday’s episode of the ABC gabfest that seeing American flags in her community makes her feel “unsafe.” The flag of the United States of America, the same country that gave her a television platform, a paycheck, and the freedom to say spectacularly ridiculous things on national television, makes her feel unsafe.

Hostin’s comments came during a discussion about the July 4th march conducted by the white nationalist group Patriot Front.

To be clear, Patriot Front is a fringe group with virtually no mainstream following, and their ideology is flatly rejected by the overwhelming majority of Americans. Nobody reasonable is defending what they stand for.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum went on CNN with anchor Dana Bash and did something refreshing: he gave a straightforward, constitutionally grounded answer. “Certainly, what they stand for is nothing that I could possibly agree with,” Burgum said. “But one of the foundational principles of the United States which makes democracy messy is free speech. And there are plenty of things that I see that I might personally find offensive, irreprehensible. But in America, free speech is allowed.”

That’s called intellectual consistency. It’s rare in Washington, rarer still on cable news, and apparently completely foreign to the set of The View.

The problem with Hostin’s reaction isn’t that she dislikes Patriot Front, most people do. The problem is that her discomfort has apparently metastasized to the point where the American flag itself triggers a sense of danger. That’s a worldview so disconnected from mainstream America that it borders on self-parody.

Millions of conservatives, veterans, police officers, and everyday Americans display that flag with tremendous pride every single day. It flies over military bases, fire stations, front porches, and pickup trucks from Maine to Montana. It was draped over the coffins of soldiers who gave everything so that Sunny Hostin could sit comfortably on a television set and say something this absurd without consequence.

The View has long served as a daily therapy session for left-wing grievance, but this particular segment represents a new low. When the stars and stripes become a symbol of fear rather than freedom in the minds of prominent media figures, it says far more about them than it does about the flag.

Secretary Burgum got it exactly right. Free speech is messy. Democracy is messy. But the alternative, deciding which groups get constitutional protections based on how their symbols make Sunny Hostin feel, is a road nobody serious wants to travel.

The flag isn’t the problem. It never was.

“The Republican Party Is DEAD!” — Trump Issues Dire Warning As Democrats Eye Massive Power Grab

(DC Pundit) – President Trump issued a dire warning Sunday that the Republican Party faces complete extinction if Democrats seize power and follow through on their openly stated plans to pack the Supreme Court and obliterate the Senate filibuster. And yet, somehow, the very senators who would be rendered irrelevant by this power grab can’t be bothered to act.

Trump has been sounding this alarm for years. Democrats have long been telegraphing their intentions — DC statehood, Puerto Rico statehood, court-packing, filibuster elimination — and now they’re not even pretending otherwise. The chairs of the Black, Hispanic, and Progressive caucuses have formally announced plans to pack the Supreme Court and nuke the 60-vote Senate threshold if they win the 2026 midterms. They’re advertising it. It’s on the menu.

Meanwhile, Trump is demanding that RINO Senate Majority Leader John Thune and his spineless colleagues take action to terminate the filibuster themselves and pass the SAVE America Act, measures that would include voter ID requirements, banning mail-in voting, cashless bail reform, ending the transgender takeover of women’s sports, and cutting off taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens. You know, the kind of commonsense legislation that the majority of Americans actually support.

Trump made this exact argument seven months ago: “The Democrats are going to do that, and most of you will admit the Democrats are going to do that. So why aren’t we doing it? And I think only a foolish person would be against that, especially when you realize that these are crazed people.” The GOP didn’t listen. Shocking, truly.

The proposed Democratic resolution frames their court-packing scheme as a matter of racial justice, claiming that the Court’s “far-right supermajority poses a serious threat to any future attempts by Congress to realize the promise of a multiracial democracy.” Translation: they lost at the Supreme Court level, so now they want to flip the table and start over with a court they’ve stacked in their favor. Twenty-one justices, to be exact. Trump noted on Saturday that Democrats are dreaming of “21 Supreme Court Justices (Not just 13, an unlucky number!),” an Electoral College they’ve engineered to be unwinnable for Republicans, and popular vote landslides manufactured by two brand-new Democrat-dominated states.

Adding fuel to the fire, radical leftist Janese Lewis George, almost certainly Washington D.C.’s next mayor, has already declared DC statehood a “governing priority” of her future administration. The Democratic Socialists heading to Congress from New York are equally enthusiastic about adding two new blue states to the map. The math writes itself: two new states equals four new Democrat senators, permanently. Game over.

Trump didn’t hold back: “The Republican Party will never win another Election. How much longer are you going to allow this to happen to you? They will TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER in their first hour, and I’ll be sitting home with tears in my eyes saying, ‘I TOLD YOU SO!'”

He’s not wrong. The blueprint is laid out in plain sight. Democrats aren’t hiding the ball anymore, they’re dribbling it down the court while Republican senators stand around debating whether to tie their shoes. The filibuster, long treated as some sacred Senate tradition worthy of protection at all costs, will be a footnote in history the moment Democrats have the votes to kill it. And they will kill it without a second thought.

The question isn’t whether Democrats will follow through. They’ve told you exactly what they’re going to do. The question is whether Republicans have the spine to act while they still can, or whether they’ll spend the next decade in comfortable irrelevance, muttering about norms and decorum while the Left permanently rewires American democracy.

Trump has laid out the stakes clearly. “The Republican Party is DEAD!” if Democrats win and follow through.

There’s no subtlety here, no room for misinterpretation. The only remaining question is whether the GOP establishment is too proud, or too cowardly, to believe him.

(DC Pundit) – America turned 250 yesterday, and while most New Yorkers were sweating through Fourth of July festivities, possibly with their thermostats turned down per the mayor’s instructions, Rama Duwaji, wife of radical NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, was soaking up the Mediterranean sun on the resort island of Mallorca.

You really can’t make this stuff up.

Duwaji, a 29-year-old illustrator and ceramist, skipped the patriotic celebrations entirely and flew eight hours to Spain to co-host a sold-out Islamic “spiritual wellness” retreat called “Plants of the Quran,” put on by a for-profit organization called The Women’s Sanctuary. The retreat, which kicked off Wednesday and runs through Monday, centers on sacred flora referenced in Islamic texts through art, botanical workshops, and spiritual reflection.

The price tag for this slice of spiritual luxury? A cool $3,400 per guest.

The Dallas-raised, Dubai-educated, Syrian-American artist serves as the outfit’s “artist in residence” — which apparently comes with the perk of jetting off to a resort while her husband rants to working-class New Yorkers about their energy consumption back home.

That’s right. While his wife was living the high life on a Spanish island, Mayor Mamdani was busy telling New York City residents to dial back their air conditioning. In the summer. In New York City. Nothing screams “man of the people” like a lecture on thermostats from a guy whose wife is enjoying a $3,400-per-person retreat in one of Europe’s most desirable vacation destinations.

This is the same Mamdani, remember, who spent the Fourth of July sitting behind George Washington’s desk at City Hall calling America “an arena of supremacy” and dismissing citizens who love their country as weak and unoriginal. He’s the Ugandan-born democratic socialist who beat out more moderate candidates in this year’s New York City mayoral race, riding a wave of far-left enthusiasm.

For conservatives who have been watching New York’s steady leftward lurch with growing alarm, the Mamdani household’s Independence Day week serves as a pretty telling snapshot. The mayor attacks capitalism and the wealthy in a public address, while his wife enjoys a luxury overseas retreat that most New Yorkers couldn’t dream of affording, all while telling those same New Yorkers to keep their apartments warmer.

The left loves to talk about income inequality. They’re considerably less enthusiastic about practicing what they preach.

Gracie Mansion, the historic Upper East Side residence where the Mamdanis now live on the taxpayer’s dime, presumably sat quiet while the first lady of New York City sipped something refreshing poolside in the Balearic Islands. Meanwhile, the working families of the five boroughs got a holiday week’s worth of progressive moralizing from their new mayor.

A long track record of bashing America. An eight-hour flight to a luxury resort. A $3,400-per-head spiritual getaway. And a lecture for regular New Yorkers about their thermostats.

This is who’s running the largest city in the country now. Happy 250th, America, try to stay cool.

(DC Pundit) – Nothing says “Happy Birthday, America” quite like sitting behind George Washington’s desk and telling Americans their country is a supremacist hellhole. But that’s exactly how New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani chose to ring in the nation’s 250th birthday.

Mamdani, a Ugandan immigrant who somehow climbed to the top of New York City’s political food chain, delivered an address from Federal Hall, now housed in City Hall, flanked by a group of foreign nationals, using the occasion to take shots at ICE, capitalism, and the very economic engine that built the skyline visible outside his window.

“Here at City Hall, as I sit behind George Washington’s desk, alongside new Americans who came to this country, I cannot see all of America, but like so many who came before, I can see New York City. The city I see today looks very different than the one that greeted George Washington,” Mamdani said.

From there, Mamdani went full progressive lecture mode, declaring that America “is an arena of supremacy where only a select few are allowed freedom, where not all are created equal.”

He didn’t stop there. Turning his sights on everyday Americans who take pride in their national heritage, Mamdani dismissed them as small-minded. “How small they are, how weak, how unoriginal,” he said, accusing them of racism and xenophobia.

Mamdani used the platform to attack ICE, capitalism, and wealthy Americans, including Elon Musk.

Musk fired back with a pointed observation: Mamdani came to this country, has built nothing here, and now collects a $250,000 taxpayer-funded salary while living rent-free at Gracie Mansion, the historic Upper East Side official residence of New York City mayors.

“Mamdani has built nothing. He is a taker, never a maker,” Musk wrote in response.

It’s a sharp contrast worth noting. Musk, also an immigrant, arrived in America and proceeded to build some of the most transformative companies of the modern era, creating thousands of jobs in the process. Mamdani arrived, entered politics, and is now lecturing the country that gave him everything about how rotten it is.

For conservatives across the country, Mamdani’s address is yet another reminder of what the radical left has in store for America if given enough power. They don’t want to fix the country, they want to fundamentally transform it into something the Founders would never recognize. And they’ll use every symbol of American greatness, including George Washington’s own desk, to make their case.

Two hundred and fifty years of American history, and this is what New York City offers as a tribute. At least we know what we’re up against.

Katie Wilson, the Democratic Socialist mayor of Seattle, has announced a brand new taxpayer-funded program designed to attract transgender “refugees” fleeing Republican-led states. Apparently, with a $175 million budget deficit staring the city in the face, Wilson looked at the books and thought, “You know what this situation calls for? Elective surgeries.”

Wilson launched what’s being called the Trans and Queer Interdepartmental Team, or IDT, to provide assistance to transgender individuals who have relocated to Seattle specifically to escape conservative state policies. The program, pushed by the Seattle LGBTQ Commission to address what they’re calling the “trans relocation crisis,” held its official launch meeting on June 9.

And what exactly does this taxpayer-funded welcome wagon offer? According to reports, the program will cover cosmetic and elective surgical procedures, including breast implants and facial feminization surgeries, procedures where surgeons sand down and remove facial bones to alter a patient’s appearance. Housing assistance and food funds are also part of the package.

Now, a reasonable person might ask: how does a city already staring down a $175 million budget hole plan to pay for all of this? Great question. Wilson hasn’t bothered to answer it. No dollar amount has been disclosed, and no funding mechanism has been explained. But hey, why let a little thing like fiscal reality get in the way?

This is the same city that has struggled for years with a homelessness crisis, rampant crime, and businesses fleeing downtown like it’s on fire, because sometimes it literally has been. Seattle’s working-class taxpayers, many of whom are just trying to keep a roof over their own heads, are now apparently on the hook for elective surgeries for people who moved there from other states.

The left has made it abundantly clear that this issue is non-negotiable for them, public opinion be damned. They have decided this is a civil rights matter and that no amount of fiscal irresponsibility, or basic common sense is going to slow them down. They will spend your money, whether you like it or not, and they will dare you to say something about it.

This is what Democratic Socialist governance looks like in practice, not the rosy theoretical version they sell on college campuses, but the real-world version where a mayor with a nine-figure budget deficit announces open-ended spending commitments with zero financial specifics attached. It’s an ideological vanity project.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s administration has been working to restore sanity to federal policy on these very issues, and blue-city mayors like Wilson are essentially positioning their cities as resistance outposts, using taxpayer dollars as their ammunition.

Seattle residents deserve better than a mayor who treats the city treasury like a progressive wish list. Unfortunately, they elected a Democratic Socialist, so here we are.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, a Laotian illegal alien named Tou Lue Vang repeatedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota between 2002-2004. Following his conviction, Vang was placed in removal proceedings and handed a final deportation order by a judge. Open and shut, right? A child rapist who isn’t even supposed to be in this country gets convicted and gets deported. That’s how it’s supposed to work.

Except Tim Walz had other ideas.

The Minnesota governor, who, let’s not forget, was Kamala Harris’ hand-picked running mate, stepped in and pardoned Vang, wiping his record clean and effectively pulling the rug out from under federal deportation efforts. Vang, by the way, served exactly zero days in prison. Not one. A man who brutally violated a child over and over again walked free, and then his governor made sure he could stay in the country too. Sick.

Vang himself reportedly blamed the child and defended his actions by claiming it’s a “cultural thing to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12.” That’s the man Tim Walz went to bat for. That’s who he chose to protect.

Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis gave a strong response. “Governor Tim Walz’s decision to pardon an illegal alien convicted child rapist so he can remain in our country is disgusting,” she said. “These are the criminal illegal aliens he and his Minnesota sanctuary politicians are protecting. Tou Lue Vang lost his legal status following his conviction for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Following the conviction, he was placed in removal proceedings and issued a final order of removal by a judge. This pardon will take away this child rapist’s qualifying convictions that made him removable from the United States.”

The DHS went even further, stating: “It’s DISTURBING that Minnesota sanctuary politicians are willing to protect criminal illegal aliens like this monster.”

And yet, somehow, the mainstream media wants you to believe that Tim Walz is a folksy, harmless Midwestern guy who just wants to help people. The man pardoned a child rapist to keep him on American soil. There is no spin in the world that makes that acceptable, not politically, not morally, not by any standard of human decency.

This is the direct result of sanctuary city and sanctuary state policies that Democrats have championed for years. These aren’t just abstract policy disagreements, they have devastating consequences for real victims, including a girl whose abuser now gets to remain in the country, record scrubbed clean, courtesy of the man who was almost vice president.

President Trump has made border security and the protection of American communities a cornerstone of his administration, and stories like this are exactly why. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: one side is fighting to remove dangerous criminal illegal aliens from our communities, and the other side is pardoning them.

(DC Pundit) – If you thought the Democratic Socialist takeover was only a New York problem, think again. The far-left insurgency claimed another scalp Tuesday night, this time deep in the heart of Colorado.

Democratic socialist Melat Kiros toppled Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado’s 1st Congressional District Democratic primary, the latest victory for the insurgent left wing of the party over an entrenched incumbent. DeGette had served in Congress since 1997, nearly three decades, making her Colorado’s longest-serving member of the House. Kiros, a 29-year-old Ph.D. student and political newcomer.

Kiros earned backing from key left-leaning groups including the local Democratic Socialists of America chapter, the Colorado Working Families Party, Justice Democrats, and the Sunrise Movement, and received a major endorsement from progressive champion Sen. Bernie Sanders. Crazy Bernie, right on cue, riding in to bless the next generation of socialists. At this point, Sanders endorsing DSA candidates is as reliable as the sunrise.

So who exactly is Melat Kiros? Kiros, who moved to the U.S. from Ethiopia, faced controversy over her criticism of Democrats who support Israel and her alliance with socialist political commentator Hasan Piker. That’s quite a coalition to be running on. But the controversies don’t stop there.

When pressed by 9News journalist Kyle Clark on her views regarding the October 7 Hamas massacre, which she described as “an inevitable consequence of apartheid, of occupation, decades of occupation,” Clark followed up and asked whether she believed the 9/11 attacks were also an inevitable result of American foreign policy. Her answer was illuminating. “Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East, which led people to believe that another act of violence was the only response. And again, just like I said before, our responsibility is to get rid of those conditions that lead to violence in the first place,” Kiros said. Got it. So according to the woman Denver just sent to Congress, al-Qaeda had reasons. Good to know.

Then there’s the socialism question. When asked what she’d say to Democratic primary voters who don’t identify as socialists, Kiros didn’t exactly pivot to the center. Instead, she argued America is already socialist, pointing to public infrastructure as proof. “We have socialism already. It’s in the roads we drive on, the schools we send our kids to, the fire stations we call upon. I’m just asking that we extend that security to our healthcare, to our housing, to our nutritional food, to our higher education so that we’re actually meeting the basic needs of everyday working families in this country,” Kiros said. Roads and fire departments are now the gateway drug to a socialist utopia, apparently.

Kiros’ victory in Colorado marks another massive win for the Democratic Socialists of America, coming just one week after two DSA-endorsed candidates won their Democratic primary contests for House races in New York City. The pattern is becoming impossible to ignore. The DSA is methodically picking off establishment Democrats one by one, and the party that spent years calling Republicans “extreme” is now fielding candidates who think 9/11 was America’s fault and that socialism just needs better marketing.

In November, Kiros will face Republican Christy Peterson, who works in office management and accounting at a construction company. The 1st District is heavily blue, so the math isn’t pretty for Republicans this cycle. But every time a candidate like Kiros wins a primary, the Democratic Party takes another hard step left.
