(DC Pundit) – If anyone was still wondering whether President Trump’s impact on the judiciary was paying off, Friday’s Supreme Court ruling should put that to rest. The Court’s 6–3 decision in Trump v. CASA, Inc. delivered a major win, not just for Trump, but for the Constitution and anyone tired of activist judges behaving like unelected kings.

At the center of the legal storm was President Donald J. Trump’s 2025 executive order, “Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship”, which sought to rein in the abuse of birthright citizenship and restore common-sense enforcement of immigration policy. Predictably, left-wing advocacy groups raced to the nearest sympathetic district court, hoping to get a nationwide injunction to stop the order cold.

That move has now been declared unconstitutional.

Writing for the majority, Justice Amy Coney Barrett didn’t just push back, she buried the argument in a six-foot-deep legal grave. Joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh, Barrett ruled that federal district courts do not have the authority to issue blanket nationwide injunctions.

In her opinion, Barrett laid out the issue clearly: “Such sweeping remedies lack any historical grounding in the Judiciary Act of 1789,” essentially dismantling the legal fantasy that activist judges can block federal law for the entire nation based on one sympathetic plaintiff and one rogue court.

And then came the part that has social media ablaze.

In addressing the dissent, particularly from Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Barrett didn’t hold back. “We will not dwell on Justice Jackson’s argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries’ worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself,” she wrote.

Next came the dagger: “Justice Jackson decries an imperial executive while embracing an imperial judiciary.” Translation: You can’t whine about one branch of government acting like royalty while pushing for another to do exactly that.

But Barrett wasn’t done handing out the reality check. She went on to say, “Justice Jackson skips over that part. Because analyzing the governing statute involves boring legalese.” Ouch.

In the genteel world of Supreme Court discourse, that’s about as close to a knockout punch as you’ll find. And it’s telling that it came from Barrett, a justice known for her calm demeanor, not for political theatrics. If Barrett is calling you out for skipping the basics of statutory interpretation, you might want to review your law school notes.

The dissent, led by Justices Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan, argued in favor of keeping nationwide injunctions, a legal maneuver beloved by Democrats and used frequently during Trump’s first term to obstruct his policies. But the majority made clear: federal judges have no business handing out legal veto power to the entire country from the bench of one courtroom.

This ruling is more than a legal technicality, it’s a restoration of balance. It sends a loud and clear message to lower court judges: your power has limits. You don’t get to play national policymaker just because you wear a robe.

It’s also a win for the American people, who have had to watch for years as one district judge, often in blue strongholds like California or Hawaii, blocked the will of a president elected by millions. That strategy may have worked in the past, but the highest court in the land just slammed the brakes on it.

Let’s be honest: if Barrett is calling out Jackson’s weak reasoning in such stark terms, imagine what Justices Alito and Thomas are thinking every time Jackson launches into another dramatic lecture from the bench.

One thing is for certain, President Trump’s judicial appointments continue to deliver. Justice Barrett, once smeared by the left as a religious extremist and by many on the right for not being conservative enough, is proving (at least for today) to be a fierce defender against ideological nonsense dressed up as law.

(DC Pundit) – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive darling who never misses an opportunity to remind everyone she’s a “girl from the Bronx,” just ran face-first into a wall of inconvenient facts.

While AOC enjoys basking in the image of a street-smart city kid who clawed her way to Congress from the gritty sidewalks of the Bronx, reality tells a much different, and far more privileged, story. Thanks to New York Republican Assemblyman Matt Slater, the internet now has receipts.

In a post on social media platform X, AOC leaned hard into her usual schtick, calling herself a “Bronx girl” during a spat with President Donald Trump. The back-and-forth was typical AOC: dramatic, performative, and completely detached from reality.

But Slater wasn’t having it. He fired back with an actual photo of Ocasio-Cortez from her freshman year at Yorktown High School, located in the leafy, upscale suburb of Westchester County, nearly an hour north of the Bronx.

“A New York state lawmaker called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over her upbringing after she referred to herself as a tough ‘Bronx girl’ during an internet spat in which she traded jabs with President Donald Trump,” Fox News reported. “State Assemblyman Matt Slater, a Republican, called out the progressive firebrand, who represents portions of the Bronx and Queens, and shared an image of her during her freshman year in suburban Yorktown High School, almost an hour north of the Bronx.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who famously graduated from Boston University, where tuition currently exceeds $60,000 a year, has long played fast and loose with the facts when it comes to her biography. Her rise to fame has been based less on accomplishments and more on social media theatrics, victimhood cosplay, and carefully crafted narratives that don’t hold up under scrutiny.

Let’s just be honest: AOC’s contribution to Congress has been more about trending hashtags than actual legislation. Her Green New Deal went nowhere. Her economic takes are painful at best. And as far as helping the people in her district, particularly working-class families in the Bronx and Queens, there’s little to show for all the media fawning she receives.

The truth is, AOC has become a caricature of the woke elite, preaching about working-class struggle from the comfort of designer wardrobes, luxury apartments, and political bubble wrap. She’s a social media influencer playing dress-up as a legislator, more concerned with Instagram reels than real results.

So next time she wants to play the “Bronx girl” card, she might want to check the GPS coordinates of Yorktown Heights. Because the American people, especially the ones paying the price for policies like hers, are no longer buying what she’s selling.

(DC Pundit) – Well, well, well. Just when you thought the Biden administration couldn’t have been any more crooked, we get another jaw-dropping revelation from Capitol Hill. Former Biden official Neera Tanden found herself in the hot seat Tuesday, admitting under oath to the House Oversight Committee that she had control over Joe Biden’s autopen during a closed-door testimony session that surely made Democrats squirm.

For those keeping score at home, this is the same Neera Tanden who spent years as one of the most unhinged Russiagate conspiracy theorists, attacking not just Republicans but also going for the throats of Senator Bernie Sanders and his supporters. Now she’s the one answering uncomfortable questions about presidential power and who really had their hands on the controls.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer has been methodically peeling back the layers of what he calls the Biden administration’s cover-up, recently identifying five Biden aides who were allegedly involved in concealing the former president’s mental decline and the autopen scandal. Tanden’s appearance before the committee represents a significant piece of this puzzle.

During her testimony, Tanden admitted she was authorized to use Joe Biden’s autopen between October 2021 and May 2023, a timeframe that coincidentally covers some of the most controversial decisions of the Biden presidency. According to the Washington Examiner, “Tanden confirmed that during her tenure as White House staff secretary, she oversaw the many documents coming to and from the president’s desk, and she noted that her role included authorization to direct autopen use.”

How convenient. The woman who once served as Director of Domestic Policy Council essentially had the power to affix the presidential signature to official documents. While Tanden testified that she was authorized to direct the autopen, she predictably “denied manipulation or abuse.” Because of course she did.

The timing of Tanden’s control over this device raises serious questions about presidential authority and decision-making during a period when concerns about Biden’s cognitive abilities were mounting. Tanden’s history makes her testimony all the more remarkable. She was a frequent mention in the leaked Podesta emails released by WikiLeaks, which revealed the inner workings of Democratic political machinery. Her reputation as a partisan attack dog was well-established long before she entered the Biden White House, making her role in controlling presidential signatures all the more concerning for those who value transparency in government.

The implications of Tanden’s testimony extend far beyond simple administrative procedures. If she was indeed “likely behind the Biden autopen pardons while Joe Biden was golfing in the US Virgin Islands,” as evidence suggests, it raises fundamental questions about who was really running the show during the Biden years. Was the president actively engaged in these decisions, or was he merely a figurehead while aides like Tanden wielded the real power?

Following her closed-door testimony, Tanden briefly spoke to reporters, no doubt hoping to control the narrative. When asked directly if there was a cover-up of Joe Biden’s health decline, Tanden responded with a predictable “absolutely not.” Her denial rings hollow given the mounting evidence of coordination among Biden aides to conceal the former president’s obvious cognitive struggles from the American people.

The autopen itself, while a legitimate tool used by presidents for decades to manage the enormous volume of documents requiring presidential signatures, becomes problematic when its use is divorced from direct presidential oversight. The device essentially allows staff members to replicate the president’s signature on official documents, making it a powerful tool that requires strict oversight and clear protocols.

Tanden’s admission that she controlled this device during such a critical period raises questions that demand answers. How many documents bore Biden’s autopen signature while he was unaware or incapacitated? Were important policy decisions made without his direct involvement? The American people deserve to know who was really calling the shots.

The contrast between the current administration’s transparency and the Biden era’s apparent shell game couldn’t be more stark. While Trump engages directly with the press and takes ownership of his decisions, the previous administration appears to have operated with a concerning degree of delegation to unelected bureaucrats.

The House Oversight Committee’s investigation continues, and Tanden’s testimony represents just one piece of what promises to be a much larger puzzle about power, accountability, and truth in the Biden White House.

(DC Pundit) – Rashida Tlaib, founding member of ‘The Squad’ and well-documented anti-Semite, just couldn’t contain her rage after Trump announced the successful bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend.

Taking to her personal X account with all the composure of a toddler having a tantrum, Tlaib called it “so f**king sick” that American political leaders were actually showing unity over the merits of destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons capability. Apparently, keeping nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorist-supporting regimes is controversial in the progressive playbook.

Her congressional account managed to tone down the hysteria slightly, posting a more sanitized version of her opposition to the strikes.

The successful military operation that triggered Tlaib’s social media breakdown was announced by President Trump via Truth Social on Saturday night. “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump declared. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this.”

Trump concluded his statement with a call for peace: “NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

But peace was the last thing on Tlaib’s mind as she spent her Saturday night having what can only be described as a complete meltdown on social media. Her reaction was perhaps more volatile than the nuclear materials our military just prevented Iran from weaponizing.

The congresswoman’s tantrum began predictably enough, with her amplifying criticism from libertarian-leaning Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who claimed the attack was “not Constitutional.” Apparently, Tlaib thought she could score some bipartisan points by hiding behind constitutional concerns. The irony, of course, is that defending America from nuclear threats is precisely what the Constitution empowers our commander-in-chief to do.

Next, she shared content from The Intercept – a publication that has consistently served as a mouthpiece for Hamas and other Iranian proxy groups. Their warning about potential Middle Eastern conflicts conveniently ignored the fact that Iran has been waging proxy wars against American interests for decades. But since when do facts matter to the left?

The crown jewel of Tlaib’s social media spiral came when she amplified civil rights attorney Arjun Sethi’s inflammatory rhetoric. “Nothing unites U.S. elites & politicians more than war – especially against Muslims in the Middle East,” Sethi wrote. Tlaib reposted this with her own charming addition: “Yep, and it’s so f**king sick.”

Here’s what’s actually sick: a sitting member of Congress suggesting that targeting Iran’s nuclear weapons program is somehow an attack on Muslims generally. Iran’s regime oppresses its own Muslim population while funding terrorism across the region. But Tlaib’s worldview apparently can’t distinguish between protecting innocent Muslims from nuclear terrorism and supporting the very regime that threatens them.

This latest outburst encapsulates everything Americans need to know about Rashida Tlaib. For over half a decade, she has consistently demonstrated that her loyalties lie with America’s enemies rather than America’s interests. Whether she’s defending Hamas terrorists, promoting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, or now criticizing the destruction of nuclear weapons facilities, the pattern is unmistakable.

While normal Americans celebrate the elimination of nuclear threats, Squad members like Tlaib see it as an opportunity to score political points and virtue signal to their radical base.

Rather than endless diplomatic hand-wringing that allows rogue regimes to advance their weapons programs, Trump delivered swift, precise military action that eliminated the threat while bringing all American service members home safely.

Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been a growing threat for years, with the regime steadily advancing their uranium enrichment capabilities despite various international agreements and sanctions. The Fordow facility is buried deep underground, specifically designed to withstand conventional attacks. The fact that American forces successfully neutralized this and two other key facilities demonstrates both the superiority of our military capabilities and the wisdom of decisive leadership.

But don’t expect Tlaib to acknowledge any of this. Her track record shows she reserves her harshest criticism for America’s successes and her warmest sympathy for America’s enemies.
