(DC Pundit) – A Minnesota man who recently pleaded guilty to attempting to join ISIS has now been revealed to have donated to none other than Rep. Ilhan Omar’s political campaign. Yes, the same Ilhan Omar who never misses an opportunity to accuse America of being the problem. You can’t make this stuff up.

According to federal prosecutors, 23-year-old Abdisatar Ahmed Hassan, of Minnesota, pleaded guilty on October 1, 2025, to one count of attempting to provide material support and resources to ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization. Hassan wasn’t just a casual sympathizer. He actively praised terrorist attacks, spread ISIS propaganda online, and made two separate attempts to travel overseas to fight for the group.

Court filings reveal that Hassan’s social media accounts were a shrine to jihad, plastered with black ISIS flags and messages glorifying mass-casualty attacks — including the January 1, 2025, New Orleans attack that killed 14 people. He reportedly hailed the terrorist behind that attack as “the legend that killed Americans.” That tells you everything you need to know about the kind of person we’re dealing with here.

In December 2024, Hassan made two attempts to leave the U.S. for Somalia to join ISIS fighters. The first failed because he didn’t have the proper travel documents — terrorists, it seems, have to play by TSA rules too. On his second try, Customs and Border Protection agents stopped him in Chicago, finding his naturalization papers, diploma, and electronic devices packed with ISIS propaganda, recruitment messages, and bomb-making manuals. These included step-by-step PDFs on building explosives like C-4, urea nitrate, and HMTD.

The FBI also uncovered messages between Hassan and an ISIS recruiter he affectionately referred to as “uncle” and “commander.” In one message, he wrote, “I will become ISIS straight away.” In case that wasn’t enough, he even filmed himself driving around Minnesota waving a homemade ISIS flag with a knife sitting on his lap — not exactly the kind of “Minnesota nice” the state is famous for.

Hassan openly admitted to agents that he was a full-blown ISIS supporter, consumed the group’s propaganda daily, and believed in creating an Islamic caliphate. He’s now awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty before U.S. District Judge Donovan W. Frank, facing up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Here’s where things get even more disturbing: Federal Election Commission records confirm that this same Hassan donated to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s campaign committee.

Omar, a founding member of the far-left “Squad,” has long drawn criticism for her rhetoric surrounding terrorism and her questionable associations. While no one is suggesting she knew who Hassan was, the fact that an ISIS sympathizer’s money ended up supporting her campaign should raise alarm bells.

The Justice Department has been warning for months about a rise in homegrown terrorism and online radicalization. Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said it plainly: “There is no margin for error when it comes to terrorism. Hassan flew the ISIS flag, perpetrated attacks on the homeland, and wanted to kill Americans. We are not taking chances.”

Yet, this case exposes something beyond terrorism — it highlights just how easily extremist sympathizers can weave themselves into the American political fabric, even contributing to the campaigns of sitting members of Congress. For a country that prides itself on vigilance, that’s not just troubling, it’s dangerous.

(DC Pundit) – Joy Reid is at it again, this time painting a nightmarish picture of what America would look like if Republicans had their way — you know, people keeping more of their own money and businesses being free from government strangulation. To Reid, that sounds like the end of civilization. To the rest of us, it sounds like common sense.

During a BET Talks event on Monday, the former MSNBC host went after conservatives with her usual flair for hysteria. Reid claimed Republicans want to drag the country back to some “hierarchical past” where, in her words, “White men” sat at the top. She warned that part of this supposed rollback includes eliminating income taxes and slashing regulations on businesses.

“And one of the reasons they’re so serious about it is that, if you go back before the 20th century, there were no income taxes,” Reid said. “There were no regulations on business. You could earn as much money as you want, leave 100% of it to your children with no taxes. That’s the world they want back.”

Oh no, the horror — parents keeping what they’ve earned and handing it down to their children without Uncle Sam’s sticky fingers snatching a cut. Reid apparently believes that prosperity itself is a threat.

Reid didn’t stop there. She added that conservatives want “society to change” so people are “satisfied just being workers” and insisted that Republicans “don’t really believe that any of us have natural rights.” Ironically, this is coming from someone whose party seems intent on taxing, regulating, and censoring Americans at every turn.

The federal income tax, for the record, was not implemented until 1913 with the 16th Amendment. America somehow managed to thrive for over a century without Washington politicians micromanaging every paycheck.

Reid also doubled down on her activist-journalist persona, describing the press as “the last thing standing between us and fascism.” She declared, “I mean, one of the things that, you know, people say is alarmist to say, but it is just true, is that we are in a fascist moment. And what that means is a right-wing, White nationalist, White supremacist moment that is centered around hierarchy.”

This is the same tired narrative the left has been selling for years: if conservatives believe in limited government, individual rights, and free markets, then they must secretly want to bring back Jim Crow. It’s an absurd argument — but it’s all they’ve got.

Reid’s remarks aren’t really about “fascism.” They’re about fear. Fear that Americans are waking up, rejecting big-government dependency, and rallying behind a president — Donald Trump — who has already proven he’ll put the people’s interests above the Washington elite.

(DC Pundit) – Democrats are enraged because they’ve been told they can’t blow billions of taxpayer dollars on healthcare for illegal aliens, all while a potential government shutdown looms.

President Trump and his administration have made it crystal clear where the priorities should be: Americans first. And now, thanks to this stance, the mask has slipped. The entire country can see the Democratic Party is more willing to shut down the U.S. government than admit that healthcare for illegals isn’t a “right” funded by hardworking citizens.

Nancy Pelosi, never one to hide her disdain for political opponents, decided to showcase her composure on national television during an interview with NBC. Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly Sunday school material. Pelosi fumed, “I have no idea. Going into it, let’s review what the President has said. What we’re talking about is meeting the health care needs of the American people, little babies, moms with breast cancer, dads with a stroke, and all of that. The President has said, I hear what they’re saying. It’s all unserious and ridiculous. In fact, I’ve listened to their sh*t, and I tell them to go f**k themselves.”

Yes, that’s the former Speaker of the House, proudly swearing on live TV while pretending her party is laser-focused on “the American people.” Of course, the actual debate is about whether Democrats should hold government operations hostage just to funnel more money into benefits for those who broke the law to come here.

It’s another example of how twisted the left’s priorities have become. While families across the country struggle with high costs of living, Democrats seem more interested in appeasing activists than helping their own constituents. Meanwhile, Pelosi’s profanity-laced tirade reveals just how desperate Democrats are to cover for a policy position most Americans soundly reject.

When given the choice between funding healthcare for illegal aliens or keeping the government running, Democrats are telling you exactly where they stand. And it’s not with you.

(DC Pundit) – Hillary Clinton just can’t help herself. Every time she disappears from the spotlight, she manages to reemerge with a fresh attack on middle America. Her latest remarks? That white Christian men are causing “such damage” to the United States. Yes, the former Democratic presidential candidate has decided that the faith and values held by millions of Americans are the real problems plaguing our nation.

For conservatives, this is nothing new. Clinton has a long track record of dismissing people of faith, famously branding Trump supporters as “deplorables” back in 2016. Now she’s taken it a step further, singling out one group as if they are solely responsible for America’s challenges. The irony is impossible to ignore—this is the same woman who lectures endlessly about “unity” and “tolerance,” while openly disparaging the very foundation upon which the country was built.

The truth is America’s history is steeped in Judeo-Christian values. From the Founding Fathers who drew on biblical principles when crafting the Constitution, to the soldiers who fought and died with faith as their guide, Christianity has been central to America’s success. To reduce that legacy to “damage” shows just how detached Hillary Clinton is from reality, and from everyday Americans who live by those values.

Of course, her comments are music to the ears of progressive activists who want to dismantle traditional institutions and replace them with a radical left-wing agenda. But to the millions of families who still go to church on Sunday, work hard, and raise their children with faith at the center, her words are nothing more than an insult. Conservatives rightly see it as another attempt to rewrite history and vilify the very people who have kept America strong.

By targeting white Christian men, Clinton reinforces the Democrats’ tired narrative that faith, family, and tradition are obstacles to “progress.” But anyone paying attention can see the truth: the decline of faith and family coincides with rising division, crime, and cultural decay. Maybe that’s the real “damage” she doesn’t want to talk about.

(DC Pundit) – Former CIA Director John Brennan must think he’s auditioning for a one-man comedy show. During a recent appearance on MSNBC, Brennan essentially announced that he had reviewed his own conduct and—shockingly—found nothing wrong with it. “I just don’t see any case against me,” he declared. Well, that’s convenient.

This is the same Brennan who played a central role in pushing narratives that conservatives have long argued were politically motivated and harmful to the country. He spent years as one of the most visible critics of President Donald Trump, using his former title as a badge of authority while attacking the very voters who put Trump in the White House. Now, as investigations and disclosures continue to roll out, Brennan seems eager to paint himself as the innocent bystander who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But Americans are not stupid. They’ve watched this playbook unfold before—elites protecting elites while average citizens are lectured about “accountability.” It’s no wonder Brennan is making his rounds on friendly networks, proclaiming his purity.

Conservatives know that self-exoneration on cable news isn’t the same thing as transparency or justice. Brennan may not “see any case” against himself, but many Americans believe the record tells a very different story. And as more information emerges, his blanket denials may not be enough to protect him from the scrutiny he’s long deserved.

(DC Pundit) – Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has issued a warning that’s turning heads across Washington and beyond. Greene declared that she is “not suicidal” and demanded that Americans start asking tough questions if “foreign governments or powerful people” try to silence her as she continues pressing for the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation and the elites who shielded it.

Greene is clearly aware of the dangerous ground she’s walking on. Earlier this month, Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) vowed to shine a blinding spotlight on Epstein’s circle of abusers, enablers, and conspirators after a group of victims deliver their list of names to Congress. Given how long the establishment has tried to bury this story, Greene’s bluntness shouldn’t come as a surprise.

At a recent press conference hosted by Greene, Massie, and even Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA), several Epstein victims broke decades of silence to demand justice and accountability. Their courage stood in stark contrast to the decades of government stonewalling that has allowed Epstein’s network of corruption to remain in the shadows.

Rep. Massie has since filed a discharge petition to bring the Epstein Transparency Act to the House floor for a full vote. If successful, this legislation would force the Department of Justice to finally release the bulk of documents tied to the Epstein investigation—redacting only the personal details necessary to protect the victims. In other words, no more excuses, no more hiding behind bureaucratic red tape.

Greene, never one to tiptoe around the establishment, took to X and made her stance crystal clear, voicing full support for Massie’s discharge petition. “We need the release of all Epstein documents,” she wrote, making it obvious she’s not backing down even in the face of enormous pressure.

But it was Greene’s follow-up post that raised the most eyebrows. In it, she delivered a stark personal warning: “I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet. I have full faith in God and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. As a sinner, I am only saved through His grace and mercy.”

Greene is openly acknowledging what many Americans already suspect—that there are powerful forces, both at home and abroad, who would rather Epstein’s secrets remain locked away forever. Her message makes it clear she has no plans of disappearing quietly, no matter how many entrenched elites would prefer otherwise.

The Epstein scandal has lingered for years as one of the darkest stains on the political class, exposing a grotesque mix of corruption, exploitation, and cover-ups. What Greene and Massie are doing is dragging that stain out into the sunlight where it belongs.

If the Epstein Transparency Act succeeds, Americans may finally learn which politicians, business leaders, and foreign actors were complicit in protecting one of the most notorious predators in modern history. Judging by Greene’s fierce words, she’s betting her career, and possibly more, on making sure the truth comes out.

One thing is certain: when a sitting member of Congress feels compelled to tell the world she’s not suicidal, the American people should pay attention. Because if Greene is right, the cover-up might be even bigger, and more dangerous, than anyone imagined.
