(DC Pundit) – A newly declassified timeline of the Clinton Foundation probe reveals exactly what many conservatives suspected all along: the Obama Department of Justice and FBI brass bent over backward to shield Hillary Clinton from accountability in the middle of the 2016 election.

That’s not a right-wing conspiracy, it’s a documented order from the highest levels of federal law enforcement.

According to veteran investigative journalist John Solomon, who obtained the memo, FBI field offices in Washington, D.C., New York, and Little Rock had all been running a criminal case into whether Hillary Clinton used her role as Secretary of State to run a pay-to-play operation through the Clinton Foundation. In other words, was the State Department for sale to the highest bidder? Agents believed they had evidence that foreign nationals and wealthy donors bought access and influence by funneling millions into the Foundation.
And just when the FBI was closing in, Obama’s DOJ rode in like the cavalry, not to save justice, but to rescue the Clintons.

McCabe’s Fingerprints All Over It
Then–FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, whose wife conveniently received campaign donations from a Clinton ally while McCabe himself personally attended the meetings tied to those funds, made sure the investigation was locked down. Agents couldn’t issue subpoenas, recruit new informants, or even interview witnesses without his blessing.
Four different U.S. Attorneys’ offices were approached by agents for help. Three of the four flat-out refused.
The most damning piece of the puzzle? A document obtained by Patel showing Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates ordering the FBI to “shut it down.” That wasn’t a suggestion. It was a direct command from the Obama DOJ to bury the case before it could touch Hillary during her White House run.
A Timeline of Obstruction
By 2015, after Peter Schweizer’s Clinton Cash book ignited public scrutiny, FBI offices opened preliminary inquiries. Instead of being encouraged, agents were told in no uncertain terms not to dig too deep. By early 2016, even as confidential sources were pointing to shady transactions, McCabe and DOJ brass stepped in again, ordering restrictions that kept investigators tied up tighter than Hunter Biden at a family intervention.
In July 2016 — the same month James Comey gave Hillary a pass on her private email server — McCabe ordered the Clinton Foundation cases consolidated under New York’s office, where he could exert tighter control. Prosecutors admitted privately that no subpoenas, grand juries, or charges would be permitted until after voters cast their ballots.
Funny how “wait until after the election” always seems to translate to “never.”
After Trump Won — Still No Justice
Even after Donald Trump shocked the world by winning the presidency, the Clinton Foundation investigation was still buried. By January 2017, agents were told to wait for “guidance from the Director’s office.” That guidance never came. New York prosecutors shrugged and cited “statute of limitations” and “no appetite” to move forward.
So, let’s recap: FBI agents had evidence. DOJ leaders blocked subpoenas. Hillary Clinton got a pass. And the American people got played.
Justice wasn’t just delayed. Justice was deliberately strangled.
