(DC Pundit) – Rocky Balboa himself has thrown his hat into the political ring, and he’s coming out swinging for President-elect Donald Trump. Sylvester Stallone, the man who brought us the iconic underdog boxer, just gave a speech at Mar-a-Lago that’s got everyone talking.
Stallone didn’t pull any punches when it came to praising Trump. He went all out, comparing the president-elect to none other than George Washington himself. Can you believe it? He called Trump “a really mythical character.” Now, that’s some high praise coming from a guy who’s played his fair share of larger-than-life roles.
The action star didn’t stop there. He went on to say, “His individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off.” That’s some serious admiration right there.
And just when you thought he couldn’t heap any more praise on Trump, Stallone dropped the big one, calling him “the second George Washington.” Talk about a knockout endorsement!

Now, it’s worth noting that Stallone kept a pretty low profile during the election itself. But he did give us a few hints about where he stood. For one, he moved to Florida, which some folks saw as a sign of Republican support. And then there was that pro-life stance he revealed when talking about how his mother nearly aborted him. He shared that bombshell on his daughters’ podcast, Unwaxed, while discussing the new documentary about his life, SLY.

So there you have it. Sylvester Stallone, the man who taught us all to go the distance, is now in Trump’s corner. It’s a plot twist that even Hollywood might not have seen coming.
