(DC Pundit) – Another day, another devastating consequence of our wide-open border policies under the previous Biden administration, this time involving a child.
Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, have arrested 19-year-old Raymundo Juan Reyes Cornelio, an illegal immigrant, for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl whom he met on Facebook.
Cornelio was charged with rape of a child and taken into custody by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on April 11. The case came to light after the young girl gave birth to a baby boy on February 14. That’s not a typo—an 11-year-old gave birth. Naturally, this triggered a criminal investigation.
In a statement that should chill every parent to the core, the police revealed: “The girl, who is now age 12, told detectives that she had one sexual encounter with a man in May of 2024. She said she met the individual through Facebook. From detail provided by the girl, a search warrant was executed on the suspect’s Facebook account, which produced his name and telephone number.”
HORRIFIC: Raymundo Juan Reyes Cornelio, was arrested and admitted to r*ping and impregnating an 11-YEAR-OLD CHILD. The girl then gave birth at 12 years old.
Conrelio is being held on a $75,000 bond and has an ICE detainer hold.

This isn’t just a horrifying case of child abuse, it’s yet another example of the absolute failure of our immigration policies to protect Americans, especially the most vulnerable. Cornelio, who should not have even been in the country, admitted to the crime during questioning. According to police, he confessed to the sexual encounter, saying he was 18 at the time and that he thought the girl was 14.
Because apparently, that somehow makes it less revolting in his mind.
Police were able to track Cornelio down after he was pulled over on March 1 for a window tint violation. He was cited for driving without a license, and the citation provided his Davidson County address.
He is now being held at the Downtown Detention Center on a $75,000 bond and is also subject to an ICE detainer. Translation: He’s not going anywhere fast, unless it’s a one-way trip back across the border, courtesy of ICE.
When the government refuses to take immigration laws seriously, as the Biden administration refused to do, these are the horrifying outcomes we get: children victimized by predators who shouldn’t be here in the first place.
And while democrats continue to push for sanctuary policies, cases like this raise the obvious question: Who exactly are they protecting?
Spoiler alert—it’s not American citizens.
And, it’s not the politicians who pay the price. It’s innocent little girls like this one.
