(DC Pundit) – The twisted saga of 57-year-old Vance Boelter just took a darker and far more disturbing turn, if that was even possible.
Boelter, already accused of carrying out a deadly shooting rampage that left Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband dead, along with Senator John Hoffman and his wife wounded, is now claiming he was some kind of covert military asset. And as if that wasn’t enough, Boelter alleges that far-left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz personally gave him a kill order—with Senator Amy Klobuchar as the target.
Yes, really.
Fox News host Jesse Watters broke the bombshell revelation during his Friday evening program, reporting that Boelter had written a letter to the FBI containing some truly jaw-dropping allegations.

“Today, we’re finding out he wrote a letter to the FBI claiming he was trained by the U.S. military — off the books — and that Tim Walz asked him to kill Amy Klobuchar so he could take her Senate seat,” Watters said.
You’d be forgiven if you had to read that sentence twice.
The Minnesota Star Tribune was the first to confirm the existence of the letter, citing two sources with direct knowledge of the investigation. The alleged handwritten document, roughly a page and a half long, was discovered inside a Buick Boelter reportedly ditched shortly after the shootings took place.
According to those familiar with the contents, Boelter’s letter outlines a shadowy scenario in which he was secretly trained by the U.S. military, “off the books,” and directed by Governor Walz himself to eliminate Klobuchar and other political opponents. His supposed mission? To help Walz clear a path straight to Washington.
Boelter’s accusations read like something out of a spy thriller, but unlike a fictional paperback at the airport newsstand, this story involves real people, real victims, and real implications, especially given the players involved.
Governor Tim Walz has long positioned himself as a standard bearer for Democrat policies in the Midwest. But this latest allegation, if even partially verified, could shatter whatever’s left of his credibility, and perhaps more.
Senator Amy Klobuchar, meanwhile, is no stranger to high-profile political fights. A failed presidential candidate in 2020, she’s remained a staple in the Democratic Party and a reliable rubber stamp for Democrats. To be named as a potential target in an alleged political hit job orchestrated by a fellow Democrat is something the party would probably prefer to keep buried deep in the headlines. But thanks to this letter, it’s front and center.
Now let’s be clear: these are allegations made by a murder suspect. They should be thoroughly investigated—but not dismissed out of hand either. If there’s even a sliver of truth to Boelter’s claims, the implications are massive. This goes far beyond Minnesota politics and veers straight into banana republic territory.
There’s a good reason most Americans, especially conservatives, have lost all trust. When one party appears willing to do anything to hold onto power, including accusations of political assassinations, the rot runs deeper than anyone imagined.
