(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump, who’s been on a roll since reclaiming the White House, just added another “win” to the scoreboard, this time on the medical front. According to his latest annual physical, Trump is in “excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” per White House physician Capt. Sean Barbabella.
The exam, which took place on Friday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, was comprehensive — including diagnostic testing, labs, and likely enough paperwork to kill a forest. But the headline-grabbing moment came when Trump once again aced the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test with a perfect 30 out of 30 score. Yes, that’s the same test Democrats desperately pretended didn’t exist when their guy was in office.
Trump also scored a perfect 30 during his first term, a time when the media reluctantly had to admit he could correctly identify animals and count backwards from 100 by sevens (which is apparently a real thing).
“His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being,” Barbabella noted, giving the president’s golf game a much-deserved shoutout.
Meanwhile, let’s not forget how Joe Biden handled the idea of taking a similar cognitive test when questioned in 2020. “No, I haven’t taken a test. Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man,” Biden barked at CBS News, delivering one of the many viral soundbites that made Americans collectively cringe. That quote, by the way, aged about as well as a gallon of milk in the Mojave.
While the media threw confetti every time Biden managed to read a teleprompter without calling his wife his sister, they showed zero curiosity about the state of his mental faculties. His frequent gaffes, from forgetting names to losing his train of thought mid-sentence, became the stuff of sad comedy. Had Trump refused to take a cognitive test, CNN would still be holding a primetime town hall on the subject. But when Biden opted out? Crickets.
The difference in transparency couldn’t be more stark. Trump stands tall — literally, at 6-foot-3 — and weighs in at 224 pounds, down from 243 in 2019. The president is not only sharper than ever mentally, but he’s also physically trimming up. Hard to argue with those numbers, even for his fiercest critics.
Former White House physician (and now Texas congressman) Rep. Ronny Jackson repeatedly flagged Biden’s mental decline as a legitimate national security concern. Jackson, who served under Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump, didn’t mince words: Biden’s cognitive decline was more than embarrassing, it was dangerous.
“People say, ‘Oh, it’s just Joe being Joe,’” Jackson said in past interviews. “No — it’s Joe being unfit.”
And as we learned over four years of Biden, those mental lapses weren’t just awkward, they impacted policy, diplomacy, and America’s standing in the world. Being able to string together a coherent sentence is kind of important when dealing with China, Russia, and nuclear codes.
Now back in the Oval Office, Trump is proving once again that he’s not only ready for the job, he’s thriving in it. No cue cards. No handlers chasing him offstage. Just a healthy president doing the job, with energy, clarity, and, yes, a bit of swagger.
Love him or hate him, one thing’s clear: President Trump’s mind is as sharp as ever.
