(DC Pundit) – Beto O’Rourke, the failed Senate candidate, failed presidential candidate, and failed gubernatorial candidate who just can’t take a hint, was back in front of a Texas crowd this weekend. True to form, the speech quickly spiraled into a profanity-laced meltdown aimed squarely at Republicans.
In what can only be described as a political therapy session gone wrong, O’Rourke called Republicans “fascists” and told Democrats to start redrawing districts in blue states right now. His exact words? “F**k the rules, we are going to win whatever it takes.” That’s right, the man who styles himself as a defender of “democracy” is now openly advocating for breaking the rules to get back into power.
The former congressman’s rant was in response to Texas’ ongoing redistricting process. But his grand plan? Have Democrats retaliate by redrawing maps in blue states. There’s just one little problem with that — Democrats have already been gerrymandering their own states for years, squeezing every last drop of advantage out of the process. It’s like threatening to eat the dessert you’ve already devoured.

O’Rourke told the crowd that when Democrats finally claw their way back into power, they’ll immediately push through amnesty for illegal aliens. No qualifiers, no compromises — just a full-on welcome mat for anyone who crossed the border in violation of U.S. law. If that doesn’t tell you exactly where his priorities lie, nothing will.

It’s a remarkable political strategy: insult half the country, announce your intent to break the rules, and then promise to legalize millions of people who entered the nation illegally. Apparently, Beto thinks this is the recipe for electoral success. Given his political track record, one might say he’s a bit of an expert on how to lose elections.
This is the same O’Rourke who ran on confiscating AR-15s in 2019 (“Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15!”) and somehow thought that would play well in Texas. He’s the same politician who flamed out in spectacular fashion during the 2020 Democrat presidential primary and then managed to lose to Greg Abbott in the 2022 Texas governor’s race by double digits. Now, instead of reflecting on why voters keep rejecting him, he’s doubled down on hard-left rhetoric and rule-breaking bravado.
If voters needed another reason to keep Democrats out of power, Beto O’Rourke just handed them one — wrapped in profanity, dripping with arrogance, and stamped with his long-running streak of political failure.
