(DC Pundit) – It looks like resident drama queen, Jim Acosta, is still clinging to relevance the only way he knows how—by gathering his fellow anti-Trumpers for a cozy event in Washington, D.C., where they can all wallow in their collective disbelief over the results of the 2024 presidential election. The former network anchor, best known for throwing tantrums in the White House press room during Trump’s first term, invited a who’s-who of Democratic loyalists to partake in some good old-fashioned election denial, something we’re told is only dangerous when Republicans do it.
One of the evening’s headliners was none other than Rosie O’Donnell, dialing in from her new sanctuary across the Atlantic in Ireland. Why Ireland? Hard to say, but one could speculate that the further she is from reality, the happier she seems to be. O’Donnell, who’s made a second career out of bashing Trump, floated her latest theory to the fawning crowd: Elon Musk, yes, the billionaire rocket man himself, somehow “hacked” the 2024 election and stole it for President Donald Trump.
“I believe Elon Musk did something,” she confidently declared, without offering even a sliver of evidence. “I believe the down-ballot proof. I believe that he did not win this election because I am looking at how many people Kamala Harris had, and I just don’t believe it.” Well, that settles it. Case closed—Rosie just knows it couldn’t have happened. After all, the Harris campaign had plenty of yard signs and TikToks, right?
O’Donnell then pivoted to accusing Trump of indicting himself with everything he says, and, just for good measure, took a swing at the millions of Americans who voted for him, labeling them “cult-like.” Because nothing says “unity” like calling half the country brainwashed.

Let’s pause for a moment to remember that these are the same Democrats who have spent the better part of a decade hyperventilating over so-called “election denialism.” According to them, questioning election results is a grave threat to democracy, unless, of course, it’s their side doing it. When that happens, suddenly it’s just “raising concerns” or “asking important questions.”
As noted by the Washington Free Beacon, O’Donnell’s latest meltdown wasn’t a one-off. She peddled the same conspiracy back in March during an interview on Irish television. And just like this time, she faced zero pushback—because the left never eats its own. Jim Acosta, naturally, offered no challenge, no correction, no journalistic integrity. Just a warm platform and a nodding head. You’d think a guy who once made his career pretending to defend democracy might call out blatant disinformation when it’s being spewed right in front of him. But no—when the lies are coming from a fellow traveler, the fact-checking button mysteriously stops working.
Imagine for a second that someone on the right—say, Ted Nugent—had claimed that Michelle Obama hacked an election from a server hidden in a Whole Foods warehouse. CNN would have dedicated a week of coverage to it, complete with solemn panel discussions, therapist segments, and dire warnings about the fragility of democracy. But when Rosie does it? Crickets.
This is the media in 2025: one set of rules for conservatives, no rules at all for the liberal elite. The hypocrisy is not just blatant—it’s the whole point. While Trump is busy rolling up his sleeves and working on a second-term agenda, the left is busy hatching bizarre tech conspiracies from abroad and crying into their oat milk.
As for Rosie and her Musk theory, maybe she should stick to yelling at furniture on daytime television. At least then, nobody mistakes her for a serious person.
