(DC Pundit) – Bill and Hillary Clinton have once again found themselves in the middle of a controversy, and this time, it’s tied to one of the most disturbing names in modern memory: Jeffrey Epstein. The Democrat power duo were slated to be deposed as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Epstein and his partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell. But those plans have hit a delay, as both Clintons have reportedly postponed their scheduled depositions.
No new date has been announced, which is convenient timing for a pair who seem to have made an art form out of dodging accountability. For two people who have spent decades insisting they have “nothing to hide,” they sure have a funny way of showing it.

The Committee’s review is aimed at uncovering the truth about how Epstein — a convicted pedophile with deep ties to powerful figures — was able to operate for so long with so little interference. Epstein’s list of high-profile acquaintances reads like a who’s who of political, financial, and entertainment elites. And yes, that list includes Bill Clinton.
Epstein visited the Clinton White House, and Bill himself admitted to traveling on Epstein’s infamous “Lolita Express” many (17) times. For someone who claims to have had no idea what Epstein was up to, that’s a lot of frequent flyer miles.
Hillary, meanwhile, has stayed mostly silent on the topic, offering little beyond the occasional eye roll when reporters dare to bring it up. It’s the same dismissive routine the Clintons have used for decades: deny, deflect, delay, repeat.

House Republicans, however, don’t seem interested in letting this one fade into the background. The Epstein case remains one of the darkest stains on America’s elite class — and the Clintons’ repeated proximity to it keeps raising uncomfortable questions.
If there’s nothing to hide, why the hesitation? Maybe they just need more time to coordinate their stories, or perhaps they’re hoping Americans will get distracted by the next news cycle. But if the past few decades have shown us anything, it’s that where there’s Clinton smoke, there’s usually a five-alarm fire nearby.
