(DC Pundit) – According to newly declassified FBI 302 interview reports, former Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff, now a California Senator, allegedly greenlit the leaking of classified information for the express purpose of taking down President Donald J. Trump. Yes, the man who spent years wagging his finger at conservatives for “endangering national security” was reportedly doing the very thing he pretended to be outraged about.
The source of these allegations? Not some conservative watchdog, but a Democrat whistleblower who worked directly on the House Intelligence Committee. Beginning in 2017, the whistleblower told the FBI, repeatedly, that Schiff personally authorized the leaks. The goal? To manufacture a narrative damaging enough to smear Trump during the height of the Russiagate witch hunt.
And Schiff allegedly didn’t act alone. According to the whistleblower, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell — yes, the same Eric Swalwell who’s more famous for his entanglements with a Chinese spy than for passing legislation — was “likely the source” of the classified material that made its way into the media.

At the time, Schiff was the ranking member, and later chairman, of the House Intelligence Committee. This position gave him access to some of the nation’s most sensitive secrets. As per the newly declassified report, when the whistleblower brought the matter to the Department of Justice, federal officials showed all the investigative enthusiasm of a teenager being told to clean his room. In other words, they didn’t care.
The whistleblower says he personally witnessed Schiff lay out the plan in an all-staff meeting: “Schiff stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP. Schiff stated the information would be used to indict President Trump.”
Oh, and it gets even better, the whistleblower told the FBI that Schiff had been promised the role of CIA Director if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election. Imagine that: the man accused of orchestrating politically motivated leaks was allegedly lined up to run the nation’s top spy agency.
Instead of being hailed as a hero for exposing this corruption, the Democrat whistleblower was abruptly fired after going to the FBI. Nothing says “thank you for your service” in Washington like tossing you out on the street for daring to cross party loyalty.

How many Democrats get to skate on behavior that would send Republicans to prison? Schiff spent years accusing Trump of “colluding” with Russia, accusations that turned out to be baseless, while engaging in behavior that makes Watergate look like a Cub Scout prank.
For a party that never stops lecturing America about “protecting democracy,” it sure seems their definition of “protection” is using classified material as a political weapon, as long as it helps them cling to power.
President Trump called Russiagate “the biggest political scandal in American history,” and this newly declassified evidence certainly adds weight to that statement. Will Schiff ever be held accountable, or will his career continue to prove that in Washington, justice is applied selectively — depending on the letter after your name?
