In 2025, election integrity is still a hot-button issue, with President Donald Trump pushing to make voting fair and transparent. Conservatives are doubling down on securing the ballot box. For Republicans, this isn’t about distrust—it’s about democracy. And with the left resisting common-sense reforms, it’s time to ensure every legal vote counts—and only legal votes.
Let’s look at the data. In 2020, 66% of voters used mail-in ballots or early voting, per Pew, up from 40% in 2016. A 2021 Heritage Foundation report flagged 1,400 cases of voter fraud from 1980–2020. By 2025, 60% of Americans want stricter voting laws, per Rasmussen, but only 40% trust election systems. Why? Irregularities like Pennsylvania’s 2020 mail-in issues—10,000 ballots processed late, per AP—fuel skepticism.
The left calls voter ID “suppression,” but conservatives know it’s protection. With Trump leading, 2025 is the year to lock down elections and restore confidence.
Biden’s Voting Mess
The Biden-Harris era was a free-for-all for voting rules. In 2021, Biden signed an executive order expanding mail-in voting, citing “access.” His DOJ sued Georgia and Texas over voter ID laws, claiming racism. Harris pushed HR1, a 2021 bill allowing same-day registration and no-excuse mail-in ballots nationwide. It failed, but 20 states loosened voting rules by 2023, per NCSL. Result? A 2023 Gallup poll showed 55% of voters doubted election fairness, up from 45% in 2018.
Biden’s team ignored fraud concerns, even as 2020 saw 200,000 more ballots than voters in Wisconsin, per a 2022 audit. Harris called fraud claims “baseless” in 2020 debates, dismissing 70% of Republicans who questioned results, per YouGov. The left’s laxity didn’t inspire trust—it eroded it.
