URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – The View came back from its summer hiatus this week and wasted absolutely zero time getting back to what it does best, functioning as a taxpayer-adjacent Democratic Party get-out-the-vote operation with a talk show budget.
Among the hard-hitting topics the ladies tackled on their return: invoking the 25th Amendment against President Trump and rallying viewers to vote Democrat in the 2026 midterms. You know, the kind of balanced, nonpartisan content you’d expect from a program that airs on a major broadcast network.
Sunny Hostin kicked things off by floating the 25th Amendment, nothing says “welcome back from summer break” like calling for the removal of a sitting president who was elected by a comfortable margin.
Joy Behar, never one to be left out of a rallying cry, kept it simple: “Vote, vote.”
Whoopi Goldberg then turned up the drama dial, telling viewers that when it comes to voting, “All of these things are in our hands… This is what we can tell you, if you want to see change, you got to make the change. It doesn’t matter your color. It doesn’t matter fur a Democrat or Republican, if you want change, you got to get out there and make it happen.” She finished with, “Help everybody you can to get out this vote because our lives literally depend on this.”
Episode 1 of season 30 and they already engaged in electioneering, a violation of ABC's broadcast license, by telling people how to vote to get rid of Trump:

GOLDBERG: All of these things are in our hands.
BEHAR: Vote, vote.

By invoking the 25th Amendment against Trump and drumming up urgency around the 2026 midterms, Goldberg makes the intended audience crystal clear. This wasn’t a civics lesson. It was a pep rally.
And this is precisely why The View has found itself under the FCC’s microscope. ABC News is a licensed broadcast network, and those licenses come with responsibilities regarding political advocacy. The network is not supposed to operate as an arm of any political party, yet The View has been doing exactly that for years, with ABC seemingly content to look the other way.
Let’s call this what it is. The View is not a news program. It is not even a legitimate opinion program in any journalistic sense. It is a Democrat get-out-the-vote operation that happens to serve coffee.
The women of The View are, of course, entitled to their political opinions. But there is a significant difference between expressing a personal view and using a nationally broadcast platform on a licensed network to actively campaign for one political party ahead of a midterm election. The FCC and ABC’s parent company, Disney, owe the American public some straight answers about where exactly that line is, and why The View has been permitted to cross it for so long.
