(DC Pundit) – Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has spent plenty of time sneering at critics who point out her growing fortune, dismissing it as “ridiculous” and “categorically false” to say she was worth millions.

Omar, who pulls in a congressional salary under $200,000 a year, now reports a net worth ranging anywhere from $6 million to as high as $30 million. Not bad for someone who lectures Americans about inequality while cozying up to the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democratic Party—the same crowd that rails against the rich while magically managing to get rich themselves.

The Washington Free Beacon laid out the jaw-dropping numbers: “Rep. Ilhan Omar’s personal fortune exploded to upwards of $30 million in 2024, the Minnesota Democrat disclosed just months after telling the press it is ‘ridiculous’ and ‘categorically false’ to say she is worth millions of dollars. Omar reported in her latest financial disclosure that she and her husband, former political consultant Tim Mynett, accumulated a net worth at the end of 2024 ranging from at least $6 million to $30 million. Their wealth is derived almost entirely from the value of Mynett’s ownership stake in his two companies that, together, were worth no more than $51,000 at the end of 2023. The exact value of Omar’s personal fortune at the end of 2024 is unclear—lawmakers disclose the value of their holdings and debts in ranges. Still, the figures in Omar’s latest disclosures show that her and her husband’s net worth skyrocketed by at least 3,500 percent in just one year.”

Let’s pause there. A net worth that grows by 3,500 percent in twelve months? That’s not just impressive, it’s financial wizardry that would make Wall Street billionaires jealous.

So the obvious question becomes: how? And perhaps more importantly, why isn’t anyone in authority demanding answers? If a Republican’s wealth shot up like this, every major news outlet in the country would already have a full-time investigative team camped outside their front door. But when it’s a progressive Democrat, the silence is deafening.

JUST IN: Ilhan Omar reported a negative net worth of -$45,000 when she was first elected to Congress in 2019.

This is the same Ilhan Omar who champions “equity” and rails against the wealthy, all while quietly joining their ranks. The hypocrisy would be laughable if it weren’t so insulting to the Americans footing the bill for Washington’s games.

At the very least, her constituents deserve a clear, honest explanation. Until then, Omar’s financial fairy tale looks less like the American Dream and more like the Washington Swamp paying off big time.

(DC Pundit) – Rep. Rashida Tlaib, perhaps the loudest and most radical voice in the Squad, once again showcased her disdain for both America and Israel this weekend. Speaking at the People’s Conference for Palestine, a gathering featuring more open Hamas sympathizers than a Gaza street rally, Tlaib gave a speech that was equal parts rage, defiance, and vulgarity.

From the stage, she portrayed her very election to Congress not as a representation of the people of Michigan, but as some kind of act of “resistance” against the United States and Israel. Instead of speaking about improving life for her constituents, she used the moment to boast that Palestinians have “infiltrated” every corner of American life. That’s not exactly the kind of language most Americans want to hear from someone drawing a taxpayer-funded paycheck.

Tlaib doubled down, saying, “You all, they just don’t get it. They just don’t get it. They will never truly comprehend, even after seven decades, that we aren’t going anywhere. We are just getting started.” She then launched into her most vulgar tirade yet, declaring, “I want to say to all of them: every genocide enabler, look at this room, motherfuckers. We ain’t going anywhere. We are just growing, and growing, and growing.”

This wasn’t a slip of the tongue. It was a deliberate, profanity-laced boast, delivered with pride to a crowd cheering her on. Tlaib, who has a long track record of anti-Israel rhetoric and open hostility toward the Jewish state, is no stranger to controversy. But even by her standards, celebrating the idea of “infiltration” while cursing out anyone who disagrees with her shows just how far off the rails she’s gone.

Instead of condemning Hamas terrorists or acknowledging the brutal attacks that sparked global outrage, Tlaib chose to stand shoulder to shoulder with extremists who cheer violence and chant slogans against America’s closest ally in the Middle East.

And yet, Democrats in Congress continue to give her a free pass. Imagine for a moment if a Republican lawmaker stood on stage, declared their presence in government as proof of “infiltration,” and then screamed profanity at the opposition. The media would be in full panic mode, and the calls for resignation would be endless. With Tlaib, however, it’s business as usual.

For conservatives, this latest performance is another reminder of just how radical the Squad has become and why their agenda must be rejected at every turn.

(DC Pundit) – Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) went on the attack Sunday against White House official Sebastian Gorka, accusing him of trying “to deflect from the reality” of the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting by bringing up gunman Robin Westman’s transgender identity.

Gorka, who serves as President Trump’s deputy assistant and senior director for counterterrorism, told CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ that Westman had an unmistakable “ideological” motive for targeting Annunciation Catholic School earlier this week. Two students were killed, and more than a dozen children and adults were injured while attending Mass.

“That’s what terrorism is,” Gorka said, pointing out that Westman’s twisted manifesto included antisemitic and anti-Israel rhetoric, and that “kill Donald Trump” was scrawled on one of the shooter’s gun magazines.

Gorka went further, highlighting that Westman’s confession—he was “‘tired of being trans’”—fits a disturbing pattern in recent mass shootings involving people struggling with gender identity.

“In just a couple of years, we have seen seven mass shootings involving people of transgender nature or who are confused in their gender identity,” Gorka said. “That is inordinately high.” He emphasized that the concern isn’t about sexual proclivities but about a repeated pattern of violent behavior.

Recent cases back up Gorka’s point. The 2023 Nashville Convent School shooter, who killed six, including three 9-year-old students, identified as transgender. The 2022 Colorado Springs gay bar shooting involved a nonbinary attacker. A 2019 Denver-area high school shooting and a 2018 Aberdeen, Maryland, Rite Aid distribution center shooting also involved transgender gunmen.

Omar, following Gorka on CNN, criticized him for highlighting Westman’s gender identity. “It’s really unfortunate that we have people, you know, like him, speaking on this,” the far-left congresswoman told host Brianna Keilar.

“He talked about their transgenderness, and then he says that shouldn’t really matter,” Omar continued. “These people are all over the place because they want to deflect from the reality,” she remarked.

Omar’s solution? Point the blame elsewhere. She called for banning assault weapons, using the tragedy as yet another reason for sweeping gun control measures.

While Omar focuses on ideology and gender identity, Gorka’s approach highlights the underlying warning signs and patterns of violent behavior, a perspective conservatives argue is often ignored by the left in favor of narrative-driven finger-pointing.

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump isn’t one to play along with Washington’s endless games of favoritism, and this week he reminded Kamala Harris of that reality. On Thursday, Trump revoked the former vice president’s extended Secret Service protection—an added layer of taxpayer-funded security she had no legal right to in the first place.

By law, former vice presidents receive six months of protection after leaving office. Harris’ coverage officially expired on July 21. Yet, in true swamp fashion, Joe Biden quietly extended her protection for another year, without offering the public any explanation. That’s right—rules for thee, but not for me.

Trump’s decision brings an end to that special treatment. CNN published the official letter, which read: “You are hereby authorized to discontinue any security-related procedures previously authorized by Executive Memorandum, beyond those required by law, for the following individual, effective September 1, 2025: Former Vice President Kamala D. Harris.”

Naturally, Harris’ team rushed to put out a carefully crafted statement. Senior adviser Kirsten Allen told CNN, “The Vice President is grateful to the United States Secret Service for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to safety.” Translation: thank you for the service, but no acknowledgment that Harris was benefiting from something she was never owed.

The real story here is simple. Trump enforced the law as written, while Democrats bent it for political convenience. Biden’s move to extend Harris’ protection wasn’t about safety, it was about clinging to relevance and privilege. After all, if the American people are no longer buying what Harris is selling, at least she could keep the appearance of importance with a security entourage.

But those days are now over. Harris will have to get used to what countless Americans already live with, navigating daily life without a taxpayer-funded detail. That’s what happens when you leave office and lose the confidence of the voters.

Trump’s message couldn’t be clearer: no more perks, no more exceptions, and no more bending the rules for political allies. In other words, accountability is back in Washington.
