URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – If you needed a real-world example of why the birthright citizenship debate matters, here it is, and it doesn’t get much more serious than this.
The Department of Justice has brought charges against two Chinese-American siblings, 20-year-old Alen Zheng and 27-year-old Ann Mary Zheng, after they allegedly orchestrated an attack on MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, including planting an improvised explosive device on the premises. MacDill is one of the most strategically significant military installations in the country, serving as the headquarters for U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command.
According to federal investigators, on March 10, 2026, a bomb threat was called into police at MacDill Air Force Base. Investigators allege Alen Zheng made that call, though no IED was found at the time. Two days later, the siblings left the United States for China. Then on March 16 — six days after the alleged planting — an Air Force service member discovered the bomb. Ann Mary Zheng flew back to the U.S. the following day and was promptly arrested. Her brother Alen is believed to still be in China.
The Zheng siblings are the adult children of Qiu Qin Zou and Jia Zhang Zheng — Chinese nationals who entered the country illegally and were ordered deported back in 1998. They had their children on American soil, and those children were automatically granted U.S. citizenship. Both parents were arrested by ICE on March 18 and remain in federal custody.
DHS’s Lauren Bis remarked: “Automatically granting citizenship to children of illegal aliens born in the U.S. is based on a historically inaccurate interpretation of the Citizenship Clause and poses a major national security risk.”
