(DC Pundit) – In a star-studded event that would make Hollywood blush, Mar-a-Lago played host to a who’s who of conservative movers and shakers on Tuesday night. The gathering, organized by America’s Future, was like a right-wing version of the Oscars, minus the self-congratulatory speeches and virtue signaling.
The guest list read like a conservative dream team: Mel Gibson, Kid Rock, Tucker Carlson, General Michael Flynn, and Lara Logan were all in attendance. It was enough to make a liberal’s head spin faster than Linda Blair in “The Exorcist.”
Now, you might be thinking, “What’s the big deal? Celebrities gather all the time.” But this wasn’t your run-of-the-mill champagne and caviar affair. This was a coming together of minds focused on shaping America’s future.
The highlight of the evening came when Mel Gibson, known for his no-holds-barred approach to, well, everything, took center stage. Gibson, who’s about as subtle as a sledgehammer, delivered a speech that had the crowd hanging on his every word. His focus? The “wolves” who prey on children.
In true Gibson fashion, he called out “those exposing all these wolves in sheep’s clothing that prey upon our young.” It was the kind of straight talk that’s become as rare as a unicorn in today’s politically correct climate.
But the ripples from Gibson’s speech didn’t stop at Mar-a-Lago’s gates. None other than Elon Musk, the tech mogul who’s made a habit of stirring the pot on social media, retweeted the speech with a simple, yet powerful, “Same.”
