(DC Pundit) – Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House who announced she would be riding off into the California sunset after decades in Congress, apparently couldn’t resist one final curtain call — and she used it to cook up a fresh batch of election conspiracy theories. The irony is absolutely delicious.
Pelosi sat down with MSNBC’s Ali Vitali to discuss the 2026 midterm elections, Joe Biden, the partial government shutdown, female presidential candidates, and a few other topics. Somewhere between the pleasantries and the talking points, things got a little wild.
The former Speaker decided to casually accuse President Trump and the Republican Party of planning to hack voting machines and manufacture a false vote count to steal the midterms. Yes, really.
“We always have concerns, but with this president and the Republicans who have no commitment to the rule of law and doing things the appropriate way — we’re ready,” Pelosi said, apparently with a straight face.
She pressed further: “We have to make sure the elections are safe…. We have to be on guard as to what [the Republicans] may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology and create a false count.”
And MSNBC’s Ali Vitali, ever the hard-hitting journalist, responded by asking, “How do you guard against that?” To which Pelosi replied with the confidence of someone who clearly has no answer: “That’s a challenge.”

This is the same political left that spent years shrieking that questioning election integrity was practically an act of treason against democracy. Funny how that righteous indignation evaporates the moment it’s their side doing the questioning.
Of course, Pelosi offered exactly zero evidence to back up her claims, because there is none. It’s the same tired, worn-out fear-mongering the left trots out every election cycle like a broken-down parade float — designed to keep Democrat voters in a frenzy.
