(DC Pundit) – A Georgia community is reeling after a violent ex-con, who should never have been free to roam the streets, brutally murdered an 18-year-old at a Walmart. How many times does the system have to “give another chance” before it learns?

According to local reports, 48-year-old Delano Middleton fatally stabbed JT Schroeder, an 18-year-old high school graduate, at a Walmart on Whitemarsh Island late last month. The altercation reportedly began when Schroeder “kicked” Middleton’s shopping cart. The young man died four days later from his injuries.

Here’s the part that should infuriate every law-abiding citizen: Middleton wasn’t some first-time offender who simply lost his temper. He had already pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in 2021 — after repeatedly stabbing a woman in a grocery store parking lot in what authorities described as an unprovoked attack. Yet, in 2023, this violent offender was released early from prison and placed on probation. Predictably, that leniency ended in tragedy.

“J.T.’s precious 18-year-old son was murdered recently at the Walmart on Wilmington Island,” reads a GoFundMe created for the family. “My dear friend JT, a father known for his magnetic personality, quick wit and unrelenting devotion to his two boys, is now facing something no parent should ever have to plan for.” The post continues, “J.T. is one of those rare people who fills every room with warmth, laughter, and light and is loved by so many. A devoted dad who has worked hard to raise his boys with love and purpose. His precious son, little J.T., who is a mirror of his father, was taken way too soon.”

One of Middleton’s previous victims, Erica Young, spoke out after learning about the killing. “The system failed that kid’s family,” Young told WTOC. “If they would have did their job in my case or the other cases, because there’s other victims besides myself, then he wouldn’t have been on the streets to be able to hurt a child.”

Young recounted her own terrifying encounter with Middleton, saying, “I asked him did he need help finding his vehicle, and he shoved a cart over on top of me and just started stabbing me.”

Meanwhile, Schroeder’s father rejected police claims that his son had instigated the altercation. “My son was never, ever confrontational unless he was confronted first,” he said.

The larger issue here is one America keeps repeating: violent offenders are released under the banner of “criminal justice reform,” only to victimize innocent people again. The soft-on-crime approach — often driven by progressive prosecutors and judges — continues to have real, deadly consequences.

Had the system valued public safety over political posturing, an 18-year-old with a bright future would still be alive today. Instead, a family is burying their son, while the rest of us are left to wonder who will be the next “early release” victim.

(DC Pundit) – A stunning new report claims Jeffrey Epstein was offered a deal to walk free—if he could implicate Donald Trump in sex crimes. According to Epstein’s former cellmate, the proposal came from none other than Maurene Comey, the daughter of fired FBI Director James Comey. Yes, that James Comey, the same one who launched the FBI into the “Russiagate” conspiracy and became the left’s resistance hero after Trump sent him packing in 2017.

The allegation surfaced through Nicholas Tartaglione, a former police officer who shared a cell with Epstein in 2019 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. Tartaglione, who is currently serving four consecutive life sentences for kidnapping and killing four men in a botched drug deal, claims Epstein confided in him about being pressured by federal prosecutors, including Comey, to turn on Trump.

In a pardon application filed in July, Tartaglione wrote, “Prosecutors … told Epstein that if he said President Trump was involved with Epstein’s crimes he would walk free.” He added that Epstein told him Maurene Comey said, “he didn’t have to prove anything, as long as President Trump’s people could not disprove it.” According to Tartaglione, Comey even bragged that “the FBI were her people, not [President Trump’s].”

If true, it paints a chilling picture of how deep the anti-Trump crusade went inside the federal justice system, one that would apparently stoop so low as to trade freedom for fabricated dirt. Tartaglione also claimed Epstein told him that Trump “was not involved in Epstein’s crimes,” a statement that aligns with years of investigations turning up zero evidence connecting the president to Epstein’s trafficking network.

Epstein and Tartaglione were cellmates from early July 2019 until July 23, when Epstein allegedly attempted suicide. Less than three weeks later, on August 10, 2019, Epstein was found dead in his cell—his death ruled a suicide, though that conclusion has been widely questioned. The “Epstein didn’t kill himself” meme didn’t come out of nowhere.

Tartaglione says he’s faced multiple attempts on his own life since Epstein’s death, claiming powerful forces want to silence him as well. It’s not hard to see why, if his story holds any truth, it would expose a Justice Department that was less interested in justice and more obsessed with taking down Trump at any cost.

Meanwhile, the Epstein scandal continues to shake Washington. Congressional Democrats are demanding the release of all unredacted documents related to the case, while President Trump has echoed that call, writing in July, “I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval.”

Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, pointed out the economic engine behind Mamdani’s victory, noting on X that the city’s elites “imported a huge number of poor migrants as an economic strategy to raise rents, cut wages, and boost retail spending.”

In a city where progressives claim to champion the poor, they’ve mastered the art of keeping them poor, and voting blue.

In fact, he’s turned the Supreme Court into a rogue court. He’s abolished the House of Representatives, he’s chilled the press. He’s scared people who are in our country legally but making them – smashing into their cars and the rest,” she claimed.

Of course, none of these accusations have any basis in reality. The Supreme Court is functioning normally, the House is very much in session, and the free press is still doing what it does best—spinning narratives for Democrats. But facts rarely slow Pelosi down.

This isn’t her first televised meltdown. Just last month, Pelosi unleashed a profanity-laced rant, dropping multiple F-bombs during an NBC Boston interview. Around that same time, she screamed at a LindellTV reporter on Capitol Hill after being asked about January 6, shouting at her to “shut up.”

(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump isn’t holding back when it comes to the brutal persecution of Christians in Nigeria — and his warning to that nation’s leaders was loud and clear: stop the slaughter, or face the full force of the United States military.

In a fiery Truth Social post, President Trump directed the Department of War to “prepare for possible action,” declaring that if the U.S. intervenes, “it will be fast, vicious, and sweet.” The president also vowed to cut off “all aid and assistance to Nigeria” should its government continue turning a blind eye to the ongoing wave of Christian killings by radical Islamist militants.

Trump’s warning follows his repeated statements that Christians are “facing an existential threat in Nigeria,” where “thousands of Christians are being killed.” The president has long criticized global leaders for ignoring this crisis, calling it one of the most underreported human rights catastrophes in the world.

“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter,” Trump wrote Friday. “I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’ — But that is the least of it. When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like it happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done!”

That’s not just talk. Trump officially designated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern, a move that could open the door to sanctions or direct U.S. intervention. He also instructed Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV) and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) to “immediately look into this matter” and report back with recommendations.

While Trump’s decisive stance was welcomed by many Christian advocacy groups, Nigeria’s leadership responded with defensive outrage. Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Maitama Tuggar pushed back, insisting there was no genocide taking place. “For the avoidance of any doubt, and out of respect for all the victims and survivors around the world of this unique and appalling crime against humanity, let the record show that there is no genocide, now or ever, in Nigeria,” Tuggar said in a statement to Newsweek.

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Muslim, went even further — calling the allegations of persecution “a lie from the pit of hell.” That kind of denial might play well at home, but the international community is increasingly skeptical.

The two-time former president is reportedly gearing up for another round in the political ring, convinced that America might not “survive” Trump’s presidency.

According to CNN, Obama has decided to “step up” his efforts to resist Trump and rally what’s left of the Democratic base. After years of deliberately keeping a low profile during Joe Biden’s tenure — though still managing to be the party’s top fundraiser — Obama and his inner circle are reportedly reworking their strategy. The goal? Keep Democrats relevant while Trump continues to dismantle their power structure from the White House.

CNN described Obama’s growing anxiety, reporting, “Trump’s moves to block Democrats from power since his return to the White House and his calls to indict or shut down liberal institutions might, Obama fears, deny that next generation the chance.” Translation: Obama thinks Democrats are running out of time and voters.

The network says Obama plans to hit the campaign trail soon for two moderate Democrats — Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia — in an effort to boost morale and donations. While those appearances will give him some friendly photo ops, insiders claim he’s been wrestling with how to stay politically relevant “every other day of the year.” CNN cited conversations with two dozen Democratic operatives and friends who say Obama is searching for his next move now that Trump is firmly back in charge.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder, one of Obama’s closest allies, remarked: Trump’s “harm is so profound that this calls for both a different approach generally, and a different involvement specifically by President Obama.”

In other words, Democrats are preparing for trench warfare — and Obama’s being called back to the front lines.

Since leaving office, Obama has mostly avoided deep political campaigning, stepping in only for major election cycles like 2020 and 2024. Despite his attempts to hand over the reins, it seems Democrats keep fumbling the ball — and Obama can’t resist grabbing it back.

(DC Pundit) – It’s not every day that a sitting judge makes national headlines for public indecency, but Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore Kristyne Schaaf-Olson managed to do just that, in spectacularly embarrassing fashion. The 42-year-old Arizona judge resigned after police body cam footage caught her urinating in public while reportedly so drunk she couldn’t spell her own name.

The whole fiasco went down around 1:30 a.m. on October 4 in Prescott, Arizona, after police were alerted to a woman squatting in the bushes with her pants down. When officers arrived, they found Schaaf-Olson — a judge, mind you — in a position no judge should ever be caught in. The officer’s reaction said it all: “This is disgusting,” he declared. “This is unacceptable.” Hard to argue with that one.

According to the body cam footage obtained by Fox 10, the judge was so intoxicated that she could barely string a sentence together. At one point, an officer even remarked, “She’s useless. She can’t even spell her name.” Not exactly a line you want in your performance review.

As if that wasn’t chaotic enough, her husband, Jason Olson, who happens to be the parks and recreation manager for the Town of Chino Valley, decided to make things worse by interfering with the police. He repeatedly ignored commands to back off and even tried to pull his wife away from officers. That went about as well as you’d expect. “I’m going to f—king throw you on the ground if you resist,” one officer warned before hauling him off to a squad car.

Olson was later cited for resisting arrest, interfering with a crime scene investigation, and obstruction of government operations, while Schaaf-Olson received a citation for — you guessed it — urinating or defecating in public. Just what every family wants to explain to the neighbors.

Only two days later, Schaaf-Olson submitted her resignation to Presiding Judge John Napper, blaming “current physical, medical, and family circumstances.” She wrote, “The Yavapai community deserves and has judges who are steadfast in their commitment to serving Yavapai County. Considering current events in my life, I believe it would be difficult to honor this commitment. I have therefore decided to resign.”

Judge Napper responded diplomatically, saying, “I respect and appreciate Ms. Schaaf-Olson’s decision to resign. On behalf of the Yavapai County Superior Court, I appreciate the time that Ms. Schaaf-Olson has served our community and her willingness to remain in her position while the Court selects a new Pro Tempore.”

Translation: thanks for your service, now please don’t come back.

Schaaf-Olson’s final day on the bench was October 31, officially closing the book on what may be one of the most humiliating chapters in Arizona’s judicial history. It’s a reminder that no matter how fancy the title, no one is above the law — or apparently, the shrubbery.

(DC Pundit) – It appears that Michelle Obama still sees herself — and her husband, former President Barack Obama — as America’s true victims. In yet another round of “woe is me,” the former First Lady suggested that the nation failed to show her family “grace” during their time in the White House, claiming it was because they are black.

The comments came during a ‘Good Morning America’ interview set to air Sunday morning. Host Robin Roberts asked, “You said we were all too aware that as a first black couple, we couldn’t afford any missteps. And you also say as a black woman, I was under a particularly white, hot glare. Did you feel that?”

Obama didn’t hesitate. “For sure,” she replied. “You can’t afford to get anything wrong because you didn’t get the—at least until the country came to know us. We didn’t get the grace that I think some other families have gotten.”

That’s quite a statement from a couple who, let’s remember, were swept into office on a wave of media adoration and celebrity-level fanfare. Barack Obama didn’t exactly squeak into the White House, he won the 2008 presidential election in a landslide and was comfortably re-elected in 2012. The press treated him more like a pop icon than a politician, and Michelle was practically canonized by Hollywood. But somehow, in their eyes, they were still victims of an ungrateful nation.

Since leaving office, the Obamas have hardly been “held back” by America. They’ve inked multi-million-dollar Netflix deals, launched podcasts, and raked in massive speaking fees from corporate audiences eager to bask in their presence. They’ve lived the kind of privileged, jet-setting lifestyle that the average American couldn’t dream of, and yet Michelle still can’t resist painting herself as oppressed.

Last month, she also complained about how “expensive” it was to live in the White House — yes, that White House — while simultaneously admitting she got into Princeton through affirmative action. “All my scores said I did not belong in Princeton… and people saw my skin color and they said ‘you are aiming too high,’” she said. In other words, she got into one of the most elite universities in the world thanks to a system that benefits applicants based on race, and she’s still bitter about it.

It’s almost impressive how the Obamas have managed to turn immense privilege, fame, and wealth into a perpetual victim narrative. For people who’ve spent nearly two decades being glorified by the media, Hollywood, and academia, it’s a strange look to keep insisting America didn’t treat them “gracefully” enough.

So if you’re ever having a rough day, just remember: according to Michelle Obama, no one has had it tougher than the couple who lived in the most famous house in America — rent-free — with staff, security, and luxury at every turn. The rest of us? We’re just not sophisticated enough to understand their struggle.
