(DC Pundit) – House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries recently pulled back the curtain on the Democratic Party’s grand vision for America. Spoiler alert: it has absolutely nothing to do with the border, the economy, or any other issue the American people care about. No, Jeffries had something far more inspiring in mind. Speaking at a recent event, the top House Democrat declared that when it comes to the tens of millions of Americans who voted for President Donald Trump, “our goal is to break them.”

This is the Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives, standing before an audience, and openly declaring that his mission is to “break” his fellow citizens, not persuade them, not earn their votes, not address their concerns, but break them. Truly the stuff of great statesmanship.

What makes this even richer is the setting. Jeffries delivered this gem at the Center for American Progress “IDEAS” summit. IDEAS. The word was literally printed on the wall behind him, which must have been deeply uncomfortable for a man who clearly doesn’t have any. Neither does anyone else in his party, for that matter.

This is one of the most consistent and damning criticisms of today’s Democratic Party, they bring absolutely nothing constructive to the table. No fresh policy solutions, no economic vision, no serious proposals to improve the daily lives of working Americans. What they do offer, in seemingly unlimited supply, is outrage, protests, and an obsessive hatred of Donald Trump that has apparently become their entire platform and reason for existing.

Jeffries wasn’t standing there saying, “Here is how we will make your life better.” He wasn’t outlining a path to lower inflation, safer streets, or stronger national security. He was talking about breaking the people who dared to vote differently than he preferred.

Conservatives should pay close attention to this kind of rhetoric, because it tells you everything you need to know about what a Democrat-controlled House would look like after the 2026 midterms. Anyone who lived through the four years following Trump’s first election victory already knows the playbook by heart: investigations, obstruction, chaos, and zero governing. A greatest hits album nobody asked for.

The Democrats have spent years positioning themselves as the party of compassion, tolerance, and unity. Yet here stands their top House leader, publicly stating his goal is to “break” roughly half the country.

The mask slips a little more every day. And the American people are paying attention.

(DC Pundit) – Losing badly has a funny way of making people want to change the rules of the game, and Kamala Harris is proving that point spectacularly. After getting thoroughly rejected by the American people in the 2024 presidential election, the former Vice President is back with a wish list of radical institutional changes that should alarm every freedom-loving American.

Speaking during a livestream hosted by the “Win With Black Women” podcast, Harris urged Democrats to embrace what she called an “expanded playbook” heading into the 2026 midterms and beyond. “I think that we need an expanded playbook in a way that we invite all ideas,” Harris said. “This is a moment where there are no bad ideas, a no bad idea brainstorm is what I’d like to call it.” No bad ideas. From the woman who couldn’t coherently explain a single policy position for two years straight. Buckle up.

The laundry list Harris rolled out was breathtaking in its scope: Supreme Court expansion, gutting the Electoral College, new ethics rules targeting Supreme Court justices, statehood for Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, and replacing traditional congressional districts with multi-member systems that would fundamentally rewire how House elections work in America. In other words, when Democrats lose fair and square, the solution is to dismantle every institution that allowed the loss to happen.

Kamala Harris is now calling for Democrats to hold a “No Bad Idea Brainstorm” where they discuss:

– Abolishing the Electoral College
– Packing the Supreme Court
– Making Puerto Rico and D.C. states

Harris specifically revived the toxic court-packing scheme, referencing “Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court” — a proposal that went nowhere during the Biden years because even some Democrats recognized it for the power grab it is. She also suggested Congress should “put into place rules to penalize people for lying” during Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Rich coming from a party whose members have spent years making demonstrably false statements from their own Senate seats without consequence.

Republicans fired back immediately. Sen. Mike Lee mocked Harris’ comments online with a simple, perfectly timed response: “Well, maybe a few bad ideas.”

OutKick writer Ian Miller pointed out perhaps the most delicious irony of the entire spectacle, noting, “The funniest part about this is that she lost the popular vote too.” So much for that argument.

The Electoral College exists precisely to ensure that a handful of densely populated urban centers don’t dictate the fate of the entire nation, a protection the Founders built in deliberately. The Supreme Court, meanwhile, has nine justices for good reason, and packing it with partisan appointments would permanently destroy public trust in the one branch of government still regarded as somewhat independent.

Harris lost. America decided. The answer isn’t to burn down the institutions, it’s to come up with better ideas. And based on this livestream, that particular challenge remains very much unsolved.

(DC Pundit) – The party that never misses an opportunity to lecture the rest of America about the dangers of violent rhetoric just provided one of the most staggering examples of unhinged political behavior this year, and it happened on the floor of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

After the House deadlocked 67-67 along party lines on a procedural vote to bring Senate-passed gun control omnibus bill House File 5140 to the floor for debate, Democrat lawmakers completely lost the plot. Rather than accepting the outcome like adults, they staged a dramatic sit-in on the House floor, refusing to leave the chamber and demanding an immediate vote on what has been widely described as the “most extreme gun-grabbing bill in the country.”

And then it got worse. During the meltdown, multiple Democrat lawmakers reportedly directed a vile and deeply disturbing comment at Republican Rep. Elliott Engen, telling him to “go f—ing shoot yourself.” Rep. Aisha Gomez was identified as one of the lawmakers who shouted the disgusting remark at Engen. The same people pushing the most aggressive gun control package in the state’s history were screaming at a Republican colleague to shoot himself. The irony is so thick you could choke on it.

Rep. Engen confirmed the incident himself on X, writing, “Can confirm. Didn’t have multiple Democrat colleagues yelling at me to ‘go f’ing shoot yourself’ on my bingo card…”

Republican state Rep. Drew Roach described the Democrats’ behavior as “completely UNHINGED” and called the attack on Engen “deranged, toxic, and downright dangerous” — especially coming from the very lawmakers hell-bent on disarming law-abiding citizens.

Republicans have blocked the bill on solid constitutional and practical grounds, correctly pointing out that it would criminalize legal firearm ownership while doing absolutely nothing to stop criminals who already have zero regard for existing laws. That’s the dirty little secret the gun control crowd never wants to discuss, laws only work on people who follow them.

As of this writing, House Democratic leadership and Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman have issued no formal statements or press releases addressing the incident. No accountability. No apology. No consequences. Just silence.

If a Republican lawmaker had screamed something like this at a Democrat colleague, it would be wall-to-wall coverage on every major network for a week straight. Don’t hold your breath waiting for that same standard to apply here.

With America gearing up to celebrate its 250th birthday, the AP decided the most pressing journalistic contribution they could make was a video suggesting that the Founding Fathers’ muskets might need to be regulated. Nothing says “Happy Birthday, America” quite like coming for the flintlock.

The AP posted a short video highlighting what it framed as a troubling lack of federal regulation surrounding antique flintlock muskets. They weren’t exactly subtle about where they were going with it. “A musket from 1776 can fire a lead ball at a velocity of around 1,000 feet per second,” the AP posted on X, adding, “Imagine what that can do to a human body. Yet under federal and most state laws, it’s exempt from gun regulations. Many antique or replica guns aren’t considered firearms and even convicted felons can own them.”

Let that marinate. The Associated Press, in the year of America’s semiquincentennial, is genuinely raising alarm bells about muskets. The weapon that helped birth this nation. The gun that won the Revolutionary War. The firearm that allowed a band of determined colonists to defeat the most powerful military force on earth at the time and establish the greatest country in human history. That musket.

For those wondering about the legal framework, under 18 USC 921(16) of federal law, flintlock muskets are classified as “antique firearms” and are therefore exempt from the regulations that govern modern firearms. This is not a loophole. It is a deliberate and entirely reasonable legal distinction that has existed for decades.

But here’s the thing about the liberal left and gun control, they have never encountered a firearm regulation they didn’t immediately love and want to expand. If they could find a way to regulate slingshots and pointed sticks, they would hold a press conference about it. The AP’s musket video is just the latest example of an agenda that never sleeps, never quits, and never misses an opportunity to chip away at the Second Amendment from whatever angle presents itself, even if that angle is a 250-year-old muzzleloader.

The Second Amendment was written by men who had just fought a war for freedom. They understood better than anyone what an armed citizenry means for the survival of liberty. These were battle-hardened patriots who had watched friends and neighbors bleed and die for the right to govern themselves, and they made absolutely certain that no future government, foreign or domestic, would ever find it easy to take that right away.

(DC Pundit) – Political analysts across the spectrum have noted that voters are hungry for authenticity. They want candidates who speak plainly, act naturally, and actually mean what they say. This phenomenon is largely a Trump effect, the man has never once appeared to be reading from a script someone else handed him. He walks into a room and is exactly who he is, every single time. Voters notice that. Voters respond to that. And it has driven the left absolutely crazy trying to figure out how to replicate it.

The problem, of course, is that you cannot manufacture authenticity. The moment you start coaching someone to “be themselves,” the whole exercise collapses under the weight of its own absurdity. Which brings us to the video.

Footage has surfaced showing former Secretary of Transportation and two-time presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, along with another Democrat, being actively coached on how to appear authentic and normal in front of voters.

The contrast with President Trump could not be more stark. Trump has never needed a coach to tell him how to connect with working-class Americans, because he simply does it. That quality, raw and unfiltered as it sometimes is, is precisely what has made him one of the most electorally resilient figures in modern political history.

Democrats, meanwhile, are out here scheduling workshops on how to seem relatable. They are so thoroughly embedded in the world of consultants, focus groups, and political theater that genuine human interaction has essentially become a foreign language requiring professional translation.

The voters they are so desperately trying to reach can smell the artificiality from a mile away. And no amount of coaching is going to fix that.

(DC Pundit) – James O’Keefe and his O’Keefe Media Group have built a reputation for exposing what powerful institutions desperately want kept behind closed doors, and their latest undercover operation has delivered another bombshell — this time from inside the White House itself.

OMG released undercover video capturing two White House insiders making admissions that should have every Trump supporter’s blood boiling. The footage reveals exactly the kind of entrenched bureaucratic resistance that President Trump has been fighting since day one — the deep state, alive and well, operating right under the roof of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

First up is Benjamin Ellisten, a Budget Analyst Manager within the Executive Office of the President. “We have to get rid of Trump,” Ellisten said. “He’s f*cking it up for everybody….We’ve got to get rid of him.” A federal budget analyst, a man paid by American taxpayers, sitting inside the Executive Office of the President and openly calling for the removal of the man the American people elected. Then there’s Maxim Lott, a Special Assistant to President Trump on the White House Domestic Policy Council, who offered his own uncomfortable window into how domestic policy actually gets made. According to Lott, formal cost-benefit analysis is often skipped entirely, with decisions advanced simply because officials believe “the base supports it.” “In theory, everything should sort of come from the president…But it might come from the level below him where they’re like, ‘I think I know the president well enough to say what he would say on this,'” Lott told the undercover journalist. He also acknowledged that policy proposals are sometimes pushed forward simply because someone decided “this feels like a good idea — alright, just sign.”

Unelected staffers inside the White House are essentially making policy calls based on personal gut feelings and their own interpretation of what Trump might want, bypassing the President entirely. Whether that rises to the level of intentional subversion or garden-variety bureaucratic arrogance, it’s a serious problem either way.

President Trump has long maintained that a deeply embedded network of career government insiders actively works to obstruct his agenda. The left and their media allies have mocked that claim for years, dressing it up as paranoia. Well, here it is on video. (DC Pundit) – While the left spends its time shrieking about phantom threats to democracy, a real and documented one just walked into a federal courthouse and pleaded guilty. Eileen Wang, the now former Mayor of Arcadia, California, has admitted in a federal plea deal to acting as a covert agent for the People’s Republic of China.

The plea deal, unsealed Monday, revealed that Wang worked with her then-fiancé, Yaoning “Mike” Sun, on a website called “U.S. News Center,” which was marketed as a news source for Chinese Americans. In reality, it was a propaganda operation. Wang and Sun “executed directives” from the Chinese government, posting content designed to boost Beijing’s image while dutifully reporting back to their handlers with screenshots showing how many Americans had viewed the stories.

The operation ran between 2020 and 2022 — the same period during which Wang was elected to the Arcadia City Council in November 2022. One particularly brazen directive had Wang’s Chinese spymaster ordering the website to publish an essay dismissing well-documented accusations of genocide and forced labor in the Xinjiang region. “There is no genocide in Xinjiang; there is no such thing as ‘forced labor’ in any production activity, including cotton production. Spreading such rumor is to defame China, destroy Xinjiang’s safety and stability,” the spymaster wrote, per the plea agreement. Wang complied. Her handler responded, “So fast, thank you everyone.” In another exchange, Wang replied, “Thank you leader,” after receiving praise for strong page view numbers on published propaganda. Charming.

A senior aide to NY Governors, Linda Sun, is also on trial right now for acting as an agent of the CCP.

The charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. A magistrate judge ordered a $25,000 bond and required Wang to surrender all passports and travel documents. Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda B. Elbogen also requested that Wang be barred from any communication with the Chinese government, including consular officials operating on U.S. soil.

Wang’s attorneys offered up the defense that her actions pertained to her “personal life” and “not to her conduct as an elected public official.” Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli wasn’t buying it. “Individuals in our country who covertly do the bidding of foreign governments undermine our democracy,” Essayli said. “This plea agreement is the latest success in our determination to defend the homeland against China’s efforts to corrupt our institutions.”

The City of Arcadia confirmed Wang will be “vacating her position” as the Council selects a replacement.

This case is cold, hard proof that China’s long game of infiltrating American institutions, dismissed for years as paranoia by the same people who’d rather look the other way, is real.
