URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – The body of Tasia Fortune was discovered hanging from a tree on August 3rd in Jackson, Mississippi. It is a tragic and deeply disturbing story that raises serious questions, questions the mainstream media appears far more interested in framing through a racial lens than actually answering.
Fortune’s boyfriend, Terrence Anderson, who lives on the same street, was arrested and is being held on a bond set at $250,000. The charge is being a felon in possession of a firearm. Anderson has not been charged with Fortune’s death. According to WLBT, police said the two were in a relationship, though Anderson denied that claim when officers asked. The two share a five-year-old child together, and Anderson lives with the boy.
Anderson has also acknowledged that the two recently had a fight before Fortune’s death.
Those are the facts as they stand. The investigation is ongoing. A $250,000 bond for a felon in possession charge is notably steep and raises its own questions about what law enforcement may or may not know at this stage.
Enter CNN.
Rather than reporting on the full picture, including Anderson’s arrest, CNN correspondent Omar Jimenez rushed to frame the story around the racist imagery of historical lynchings. The arrest of Fortune’s boyfriend, the shared child, the denied relationship, the admitted fight, none of that made the cut apparently. Just the racial narrative, neatly packaged and ready for air.

This is a pattern the mainstream media repeats with depressing regularity. When a story fits a preferred narrative, it leads the broadcast. When facts complicate that narrative, those facts simply disappear from the coverage. The result is an American public that is deliberately kept misinformed, not by accident, but by editorial choice.
Tasia Fortune deserves honest coverage. Her family deserves answers. And the public deserves reporting that follows the facts wherever they lead, not reporting that starts with a conclusion and works backward to fill in the gaps.
As more facts emerge, they should be reported fully and fairly. That is apparently too much to ask of CNN.
