(DC Pundit) – A foreign national from Ghana has been arrested at least three times in the last two weeks for a escalating series of sexual assaults against women in Oklahoma City, and the question of why he was still on the streets after his first arrest is one that demands a serious answer.
Jeff Kufi Asare, 26, has allegedly sexually assaulted four women this month alone. The attacks grew progressively more violent with each incident.
On August 1st, near Northwest 23rd Street and Classen Boulevard, police responded to a possible rape. Asare allegedly pushed a woman against a bus stop window and put his hands down her pants. Another woman told police that Asare came up behind her while she was walking on Classen Boulevard, pulled her pants down, and fled only after she pushed him away. He was arrested for sexual battery and indecent exposure. He was released.
Five days later, near Scissortail Park, Asare allegedly walked up behind a woman, grabbed her buttocks multiple times, and began digging in his pants. When the woman asked him to leave, he walked away. Police spotted him shortly afterward and arrested him again for sexual battery. He was released again.
Six days after that, on Wednesday, Asare allegedly approached a woman from behind on the Lake Hefner Trail, pulled her down, and attempted to rape her. Firefighters who were nearby intervened and called police.
Three arrests in two weeks. Four victims in one month. Each attack more aggressive than the last.

Asare was born in Ghana in 1999 and is not a United States citizen. Earlier this year, after pleading no contest to breaking and entering in Oklahoma County, a court issued him an official immigration warning. He has had nearly two dozen arrests since 2022.
Nearly two dozen arrests since 2022. An immigration warning issued by a court. And he was still walking the streets of Oklahoma City, free to escalate from groping to attempted rape over the course of less than two weeks.

This is the direct, predictable consequence of a system that treats repeat criminal offenders, including those with no legal right to be in this country, as a population to be processed and released rather than removed. Every one of Asare’s four victims this month encountered him because the mechanisms that should have removed him from American streets either failed or were never used.
President Trump’s administration has made the removal of criminal illegal aliens a central priority for exactly this reason. Stories like this one are not anomalies, they are the inevitable result of years of policies that prioritized everything except the safety of American women walking to a bus stop or jogging on a trail.
