(DC Pundit) – Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock, a Democrat and ordained Baptist pastor, stood before members of the IKAR synagogue in Los Angeles this week and delivered a sermon that doubled as a political broadside, declaring that opposition to transgender ideology amounts to spiritual violence. Speaking alongside Rabbi Sharon Brous, Warnock told the congregation that society must “push hard against bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism, transphobia, xenophobia in all of its forms because it is violence not only against humanity, but against divinity. It is an offense to the glory of God.”

It’s worth pausing on that word choice. “Transphobia” implies fear, yet most Americans who object to the broader trans agenda aren’t afraid of anyone, they simply don’t want it taught to second graders, and they don’t think biological men belong in their daughters’ locker rooms. That’s not a phobia. That’s a boundary.

Warnock didn’t stop with a general lecture on tolerance. He turned the criticism inward on his own community, confessing he’s had to chasten members of his own church for their views, admitting “that church is as homophobic as anybody.” He went further still, telling the room that Christians have been “blind to our bigotry, to the ways in which we are inhospitable to those who had another way to center,” before crediting Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and the LGBTQ community with teaching the church a lesson about who truly understands divine glory.

None of this should come as a shock from Warnock, who has spent years cultivating his image as one of the Senate’s most outspoken champions of transgender politics. He tweeted during his 2020 campaign against then-Sen. Kelly Loeffler that he’s “a pro-LGBTQ+ pastor who understands that no one is free until we are all free,” and Breitbart notes he’s a “self-described ‘pro-LGBTQ+ pastor,’ and one of the Democrats’ loudest voices when it comes to promoting the transgender agenda.” He’s also endorsed by the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ advocacy organization, hardly a neutral validator.

What’s notable here isn’t just the theology, dubious as it may be coming from a man of the cloth lecturing other people on what offends God. It’s the political calculation. Democrats lost ground in 2024 in part because swing voters recoiled from the party’s aggressive push on gender ideology, particularly around kids and sports. Rather than recalibrate, Warnock is doing the opposite, reframing the entire debate as a matter of religious righteousness, with anyone who disagrees cast as committing an offense against the Almighty himself.

Make no mistake: this isn’t a one-off speech. It’s a signal of where the party intends to plant its flag heading into future elections. Parents who simply want a say in their children’s education are now being told by a sitting U.S. senator that their position is a form of “violence.” This is an attempt to put the debate beyond debate, and voters who feel talked down to tend to remember it at the ballot box.

(DC Pundit) – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has never been particularly subtle about what drives her, and now she’s made the Democratic Party’s 2026 midterm agenda crystal clear: if they retake Congress, investigating President Donald Trump is going to be front and center.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s The Briefing, hosted by former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, AOC was asked about House Speaker Mike Johnson’s warning that a Democratic majority would spend its time investigating Trump, his Cabinet, his political donors, and his allies rather than actually governing. Most politicians trying to appeal to swing voters would have pushed back on that characterization. Not AOC. She embraced it like a long-lost friend.

“I think there are certain committees that will be spearheading real investigations into this administration,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “There has to be accountability… The only way that you set that precedent is by aggressive investigation and consequence.”

She also hinted that congressional investigations could open the door to even broader legal action. “Some of the things that do come out in congressional investigations sometimes yield to either state pursuits,” she said, a fairly transparent signal that she’s hoping to hand ammunition to Democratic state attorneys general who might want to pile on.

When pressed on whether this amounted to political retaliation against a sitting president, Ocasio-Cortez offered what she clearly thought was a mic-drop moment: “If you don’t want to be prosecuted for crimes, don’t do crimes.”

Clever. Also completely disconnected from the reality that Republicans have watched Democrats weaponize congressional oversight, launch two impeachments, and throw the full weight of the federal and state justice systems at Trump for nearly a decade, and still came up empty on removing him from power. The voters weren’t impressed either, which is how Trump ended up back in the White House.

AOC did try to thread the needle by claiming Democrats could walk and chew gum at the same time, investigating Trump while also pushing their legislative priorities on healthcare and housing. She pointed to her time on the House Oversight Committee during Trump’s first term and her participation in proceedings involving former Trump attorney Michael Cohen as evidence of her investigative credentials.

Here’s what’s actually going on. The progressive wing of the Democratic Party, with AOC as one of its loudest voices, has no real legislative vision that appeals to the broad American electorate. They tried that in 2020 and 2022 and kept watching voters drift toward Republicans on the issues that actually affect daily life: the economy, crime, immigration, and inflation. So the fallback plan is the same one they’ve been running for years, make everything about Trump, keep the base outraged, and hope the investigations generate enough headlines to drive turnout.

The American people sent Trump back to the White House with a clear mandate. The last thing they voted for was another round of congressional theater designed to relitigate an election the Democrats lost.

Republicans, take note, and take this seriously. AOC just handed the GOP its 2026 midterm message on a silver platter. But messaging only wins elections if voters actually show up. Every conservative who stays home in November is essentially casting a vote for two more years of congressional witch hunts, subpoenas, and made-for-MSNBC hearings. Get out and vote like the investigations are already being planned, because according to AOC, they are.

(DC Pundit) – If you were hoping the Supreme Court would be the last line of defense for election integrity heading into the 2026 midterms, Monday delivered a gut punch.

The Supreme Court sided against Republicans in a 5-4 decision, ruling that states can count mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day, provided they are postmarked by Election Day. The case centered on a Mississippi law that allows ballots to be counted up to five business days after Election Day, and the court’s majority decided that federal law simply doesn’t prohibit it.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote the majority opinion, joined by Chief Justice John Roberts and the three liberal justices.

Barrett’s reasoning was straightforward, if deeply frustrating to election integrity advocates. “The electorate’s choice is made when voting is complete, not when ballots are received,” she wrote. “Election-day statutes say nothing about ballot receipt, and we cannot add to the words Congress chose.”

Alito, writing the dissent, saw it very differently. “If ballots received after election day are added to the set of ballots that dictate the election’s outcome, the electorate’s choice does not occur on election day,” he argued. He also warned that “confidence in election outcomes can be seriously undermined” when late-arriving ballots swing results. Kavanaugh echoed that concern, noting that “if the apparent winner the morning after the election ends up losing due to late arriving ballots, charges of a rigged election could explode.”

Those are not fringe concerns. Anyone who lived through the 2020 election and the days of ballot-counting that followed knows exactly what Alito and Kavanaugh are talking about. The slow drip of mail-in ballots flipping races after Election Night has become a reliable feature of modern elections, and not one that does anything to build public confidence in the process.

President Trump didn’t hold back in his response. “In light of the tremendous loss in the Supreme Court today concerning Voter’s Rights, and the fact that ‘people’s’ votes are allowed to be counted LONG AFTER an Election is over, it is more important than ever to pass THE SAVE AMERICA ACT,” Trump wrote.

The SAVE America Act has already passed the House but has stalled in the Senate. RNC Chairman Joe Gruters backed the president’s call, stating: “If we want fair and secure elections, Election Day should mean exactly what it says, which is why this decision makes it even more imperative that Congress pass the SAVE America Act.”

The lawsuit itself was brought by the Republican National Committee and the Libertarian Party of Mississippi, and had previously scored a win at the appellate level when a three-judge panel, all Trump appointees, ruled in the GOP’s favor. The full appeals court later declined to rehear the case, sending it to the Supreme Court, which ultimately reversed course.

The bottom line is this: roughly 30 states currently count at least some absentee ballots mailed by Election Day but received afterward, and Monday’s ruling locks that practice in ahead of November. For conservatives who believe Election Day should mean exactly that, one day, with a hard deadline, this is a serious setback. The only remedy now is legislative, and that means the Senate needs to act on the SAVE America Act without delay.

(DC Pundit) – Someone alert Bernie Sanders! A billionaire is trying to buy American elections, flooding the political system with cash to influence who sits in power. This is exactly the kind of thing Bernie rails against in every speech, every fundraising email, and every television appearance he’s ever done.

Oh wait… The billionaire in question is George Soros, and he’s spending his money to elect Democrats. Never mind then. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Soros, the 95-year-old Hungarian-born hedge fund mogul and longtime left-wing mega-donor, has poured more than $100 million into efforts to help Democrats win elections. And you won’t hear a single peep about it from Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or any of the other self-described Democratic Socialists who spend every waking hour lecturing the rest of America about the corrupting influence of billionaire money in politics. Funny how that works.

Douglas Kellogg, state projects director for Americans for Tax Reform, explained what all that cash is actually buying. “Money talks, and Soros money says the most insidious, unconstitutional, costly tax hikes in American history are on the table,” Kellogg said. He also described Soros as a “wannabe Bond villain” responsible for the radical takeover of the Democratic Party. Accurate? Absolutely.

Here’s where it gets particularly crafty. Only a sliver of this cycle’s contributions, $793,800, were made directly in Soros’s own name. The overwhelming majority, $102 million, was funneled through the Democracy Political Action Committee, the super PAC Soros personally launched back in 2020, which serves as the family’s primary political arm. The arrangement is designed to make it difficult for the public to track exactly which radical candidates the Soros machine is propping up at any given moment. Transparency for thee, but not for me.

This is the same George Soros who has spent decades financing district attorney races across the country, helping elect progressive prosecutors in major cities who went soft on crime and watched their communities pay the price for it. He’s the same man who has funded open-borders organizations, radical social justice groups, and media operations that push his worldview into the mainstream. And he’s been doing it for years while the left cheers him on and the Bernie crowd conveniently looks the other way.

Let’s be crystal clear about what’s happening here. When Sanders and AOC stand at their podiums and thunder about fighting “the oligarchy,” they aren’t talking about George Soros. They never are. They’re talking about conservative and Republican-aligned donors. The whole “fighting billionaires” routine is a performance, a tightly scripted act designed to rile up the base while Soros writes nine-figure checks to reshape American elections from the shadows.

The left’s outrage over money in politics has always had an asterisk.

(DC Pundit) – Another week, another horrific crime committed by someone who had no legal right to be in the United States in the first place.

An 18-year-old illegal alien from Colombia has been charged with first-degree murder in the brutal killing of his own stepfather in Miramar, Florida, during the early morning hours of June 20th.

Police were called to a residence in the middle of the night and what they found inside was not for the faint of heart. “Deputies entered the home at around 3 a.m. and encountered a gruesome scene and an ‘unresponsive’ male who was later pronounced deceased,” Border Hawk reported. Authorities discovered an axe, a knife, and a sword, all with blood on them. The suspect, Juan Andres Gonzalez-Diaz, was found hiding in a locked bathroom, hoping to avoid the police who had just walked into the nightmare he’d created.

Investigators believe Gonzalez-Diaz attacked his stepfather while the man was asleep in the dining room, though a motive has not been confirmed. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspect adjusting security cameras inside the home shortly before the killing, not exactly the behavior of someone with nothing to hide.

DHS has since filed an immigration detainer in Florida to ensure Gonzalez-Diaz isn’t released from jail before federal immigration authorities can take custody of him. Florida, to its credit, has maintained cooperation with ICE to ensure illegal aliens in law enforcement custody are transferred to federal hands, a policy the left has fought tooth and nail in sanctuary cities across the country.

This is precisely the argument President Trump has been making for years. When you have an open-door immigration policy and no real enforcement mechanism, you don’t just get people looking for a better life, you get people like Gonzalez-Diaz, whose stepfather paid the ultimate price.

A man is dead. His killer shouldn’t have been here. These are facts, not talking points, no matter how much the open-borders crowd wants to pretend otherwise.

(DC Pundit) – Don Arias has seen firsthand what radical Islamic terrorism does to American families. And right now, he’s watching something that makes his blood boil.

Arias is an Air Force veteran and former New York City firefighter who witnessed the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the first time Islamic terrorists tried to bring those towers down. His brother Adam worked on the 84th floor of the South Tower. On the morning of September 11, 2001, Don spoke with his brother by phone after the first plane had already struck the North Tower. Adam described the chaos to him, desperate victims jumping from the burning skyscraper above. Adam never made it out.

“So, that has stuck with me for many years,” Arias told Fox News Digital. He has since become a relentless advocate for 9/11 victims’ families.

What has him fired up now is the alarming parade of candidates with deeply troubling backgrounds winning Democratic primaries at an accelerating pace, and the voters who seem completely oblivious to it.

First, there’s Dr. Adam Hamawy, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and Army combat veteran who won New Jersey’s crowded Democratic primary for the 12th Congressional District to succeed retiring Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman. Sounds fine on the surface. But his past includes a cozy relationship with Omar Abdel-Rahman — the “Blind Sheikh” — the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The pair met in 1991 when Hamawy was a young adult, and he soon began accompanying Abdel-Rahman to mosques. The two even took a 13-hour car ride from New Jersey to a conference in Detroit together. Hamawy later testified on behalf of the defense at the sheikh’s trial. Hamawy received $2 million from American Priorities, a pro-Palestinian super PAC, helping propel him to victory.

Arias isn’t buying the “nothing to see here” spin.

“When he’s pals with the Blind Sheikh, and he’s his translator for several years, when he testifies for him in court saying what a great guy he is, when he spends that kind of time with this guy, and then says that he’s never heard him say anything about jihad, I have to question his veracity. I mean, that just doesn’t ring true,” Arias said.

“Show me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are,” he continued. “And if this guy Hamawy is going to try and forget all about that — he wants it to go down the memory hole and say, ‘oh, I was a veteran, you know, I did good stuff’ — I’m not going to forget, and I don’t think people should forget.”

Then there’s Aber Kawas, the Muslim daughter of illegal aliens who is now the Democratic nominee for New York State Senate District 12, backed by socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. In a 2017 podcast, Kawas had this to say about the September 11 attacks: “The system of capitalism and racism and White supremacy… and Islamophobia have all been used to colonize lands, to take resources from other people and so this is a long trajectory, and we’re just seeing the manifestations of that continuation with 9/11.” She also said, “The idea we have to apologize for a terror attack that a couple of people did and then there is no apology or reparations for genocides and for slavery… is something I find reprehensible.”

Arias had a clear response to that framing: “For her to minimize 9/11 … it’s just like, ‘oh, some people had some planes,’ you know, it’s beyond the pale.” He didn’t stop there: “So, when I look at somebody like Kawas, when I look at somebody like Mamdani, I don’t see an American. I mean, you scratch the surface, you see a commie, you see a radical, and — forgive me for saying it — I see a Nazi.”

Arias blames the school system for producing the voters who put these people in office: “It’s very insidious and it’s very seductive to the young and dumb. It’s the young, it’s the dumb, it’s the indoctrinated who are voting for these people in numbers.”

“I don’t know what happens to a person where they actually grow to hate their own country, but I blame universities and the schools for this,” he said. “It’s an indictment on our education system because almost… they’re all very young, very ill informed and they’re Islamo-Nazis at this point.”

He described socialism and its supporters as completely divorced from reality: “These guys are cruising, so they can have these luxury beliefs, these ethereal conversations about mankind. They’re so out of touch.”

“We’re not educating the voters,” he said, “and the voters aren’t doing the proper research into their candidates, because I think if they knew… they wouldn’t vote for him, and I think people need to bring that to the forefront.”

The voters pulling the lever for candidates like Hamawy and Kawas owe it to people like Don Arias, and to the nearly 3,000 Americans who never made it home on September 11th, to do better. A whole lot better.

(DC Pundit) – If you’re looking for a reliable source of rock-solid political misinformation delivered with absolute confidence, look no further than The View on ABC. This week, the show’s hosts were busy rolling out the red carpet for the Democratic Socialists of America in New York City. Nothing says “in touch with mainstream America” quite like cheerleading for socialists.

Not to be outdone, Whoopi Goldberg decided to take things a step further by telling her audience that nobody wants voter ID laws. Nobody. Not a soul.

Here’s the thing about that claim, it’s either spectacularly uninformed or spectacularly dishonest, and at this point, it’s genuinely hard to tell which. Probably a generous helping of both. Poll after poll has consistently shown that voter ID is one of the most broadly popular policy positions in the country. We’re talking 80 percent support or higher across multiple surveys, cutting across party lines, racial demographics, and income levels. Some polls push it even closer to 90/10. It’s the kind of issue where the left finds itself so far out of step with the average American that they’ve practically lapped the field going the wrong direction.

And yet here’s Whoopi, sitting comfortably on national television, telling viewers the exact opposite of what the data shows. The View has become less of a talk show and more of a misinformation firehose at this point, and ABC ought to be embarrassed that its name is anywhere near it.

The reason Democrats fight voter ID requirements so aggressively isn’t hard to figure out. Secure elections with verified voters are a real threat to their strategy. You don’t spend this much energy opposing something that “nobody wants” unless you’re the ones who don’t want it.

Most civilized democracies around the world require some form of identification to cast a ballot, including Canada, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. The idea that asking voters to verify who they are is somehow a form of suppression is an argument that wouldn’t survive five minutes of serious scrutiny. But serious scrutiny isn’t exactly The View’s strong suit.

Conservatives have been making the case for election integrity for years. The polling is on their side, common sense is on their side, and the majority of Americans are on their side. Whoopi and the gang can keep insisting otherwise, but the numbers don’t lie, even when the hosts do.

James Talarico Claims Christianity Is The “Most Violent” And Has Done “More Damage” To Islam

(DC Pundit) – If you’re a Texas Christian voter trying to figure out what James Talarico actually stands for, buckle up, because it’s quite the ride.

Talarico, a Democratic state representative and Presbyterian seminarian running against Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton for the U.S. Senate, made waves when a New Yorker profile revealed he’d called Christianity the “most violent” religion and claimed it has done “more damage” to Islam than to any other faith. Let that sink in for a moment. A man studying for the ministry. Running for Senate in Texas. Calling Christianity the most violent religion on earth.

The data shows otherwise. According to the Cato Institute, radical Islamic terror has killed at least 3,100 Americans on U.S. soil since 1975, along with thousands of U.S. soldiers overseas, and has accounted for 87 percent of all terrorism-related deaths over the past half-century. But sure, Christianity is the problem.

Talarico addressed the Pakistani American Council of Texas and took direct aim at President Trump for restricting immigration from countries identified as radical Islamic terrorism hotspots. He called Trump “a threat to all of us” and declared he stands with his “Muslim brothers and sisters.” Back in 2017, he posted on social media: “Proud to stand with our Muslim neighbors today. Texas is big enough for all of us. #NoBanNoWall.” In 2016, he bragged about campaigning for a progressive Muslim-American candidate and said he did so “just to piss off” Trump. Real mature stuff.

Talarico’s spiritual flexibility apparently knows no bounds. During a 2021 invocation on the Texas House floor, he prayed to “Holy Mystery,” referenced the Torah, Koran, Gita, Dharma, and First Epistle of John, and wrapped up by praying in “all your many names.” He has also declared “God is non-binary” and stated that “trans children are God’s children.” In a 2022 church sermon, he claimed abortion restrictions meant “every one of our neighbors with a uterus became the property of the state” and that “nothing, nothing is more unchristian than that.” In May of this year, he argued that the Bible is “silent on abortion.”

He has fought against displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools, calling a Texas law requiring such displays “deeply unChristian” and saying he didn’t want religion forced “down my throats.” He has also attacked private school vouchers as part of what he called a “Christian Nationalist movement.”

And the cherry on top? Talarico’s mentor, Rev. Jim Rigby of Austin’s St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, declared after an attempted shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner that the MAGA movement’s “heart” is the Confederacy.

Texans have a clear choice in this race. Ken Paxton isn’t perfect, but he’s not out here calling your faith the most dangerous religion in human history either.

(DC Pundit) – If you ever needed proof that Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive, well, and completely untreated, look no further than the recent on-air lovefest between washed-up comedian Rosie O’Donnell and former CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta.

The pair got together on Acosta’s show this week to push what can only be described as textbook election denialism, the very thing these two spent years clutching their pearls over when conservatives questioned the 2020 results. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

O’Donnell, who famously self-deported to Ireland last year to live in what she dramatically called “exile,” has apparently crawled back stateside, and she brought her conspiracy theories with her. She flat-out declared that President Trump stole the election from Kamala Harris.

“So most people are very, very, very shocked, scared, and absolutely astonished that he is the President of the United States, and I think I am too. I mean, part of the reason that I left is I never in a million years thought we would put a convicted felon who tried to start an insurrection back in office,” O’Donnell said. The same crowd that called questioning election results an “insurrection” is now… questioning election results. Got it.

“How did that happen? I don’t think it happened. I think Kamala won. I do,” she continued, as Acosta generously called her theory “interesting.” That’s one word for it.

Not content to stop there, Rosie dragged Elon Musk into her fever dream, implying the tech billionaire may have rigged the vote on Trump’s behalf. “And I think that we’re going to find all this out…And you know, the Elon Musk, of it all,” she rambled, asking Acosta, “What did he do for Donald that was able to give him back all that he gave him back? What did he do, you think, for the Donald in that election?”

Acosta, meanwhile, tied himself in rhetorical knots trying to avoid acknowledging that elections can be manipulated, because doing so would make him a certified hypocrite after four years of mocking anyone who questioned 2020. “I tend to trust it,” he stammered. “But I do worry he’s going to try to steal the next one.”

O’Donnell then escalated further, predicting Trump won’t steal the midterms, he’ll cancel them. “I think he’s going to come up with some big tragedy…and he’s going to declare that the elections are off,” she said. “That’s what I think is going to happen because that’s in the Fascist playbook.”

Acosta could be heard enthusiastically agreeing throughout.

O’Donnell and Trump have a long history. Trump famously called her a “fat pig” and a “disgusting animal” during a 2016 debate. She fled the country after the election and is now back, apparently refreshed and ready to embarrass herself on a national stage all over again.

“Steamy Pile Of DOGE Sh*t!” — RINO Senator Tillis Goes Berserk Over Deep State Officials Being Fired (VIDEO)

(DC Pundit) – Washington insiders hate nothing more than losing their grip on power, and Acting DNI Bill Pulte just yanked it right out of their hands. With dozens of Deep State intel officials already fired or sent packing elsewhere, the swamp is squealing, and leading the chorus is none other than outgoing RINO Senator Thom Tillis, who apparently has nothing better to do.

Pulte has fired over 50 career Deep State intel officials since taking over the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Six career and political intelligence staffers were terminated outright, while 45 others were sent back to their home agencies. CNN’s Kristen Holmes posted on X: “The deep state firings have begun.”

The move is exactly what President Trump ordered. Trump directed Pulte to “execute the immediate and needed downsizing of the office” in a Truth Social post earlier this month. Pulte wasted no time getting to work, and on Tuesday evening he offered some reassurance to those worried about national security in the process, stating: “Today, I spent time with the National Counterterrorism Center team, who is doing an incredible job protecting our Country under President Trump’s leadership. The room was filled with true professionals and American patriots. It is a privilege to work beside them.”

So far, so good, unless you’re North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis.

Tillis, who has already announced he won’t be seeking reelection, a decision that no one in the America First movement is mourning, ran to CNN’s Manu Raju to deliver one of the most colorfully unhinged takes of the week. “My guess is, based on his past experience, it’s just going to be another hot-steamy pile of DOGE shit!” Tillis said. He wasn’t finished, adding: “I think he’s an incompetent sycophant and not the right person to lead DNI, and you’re undermining the next DNI.”

Senator, we get it, you don’t like the guy.

For anyone who needs context on Tillis: this is a man who has spent years in Washington cozying up to the establishment, bucking his own party, and doing the left’s dirty work on key votes. A textbook RINO in every sense of the word, and on his way out the door, he’s apparently determined to go out with a bang rather than any dignity intact.

The ODNI was created in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks to prevent intelligence agencies from failing to share critical information with one another. Republicans like Sen. Tom Cotton have pointed out the office has since ballooned well beyond that original mission. Trimming the fat isn’t a scandal, it’s common sense. Pulte’s cuts have been described by at least one source as “thoughtful and methodical,” which is more than anyone could say about Tillis’s performance.
