URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Louis Erebia was, by every account, exactly the kind of man this country needs more of. A husband, father, and grandfather, he spent his life looking out for others, and that instinct ultimately cost him everything.
This past weekend in Houston, Texas, 56-year-old Erebia was fatally shot after tracking down the suspect who had stolen his son’s truck at gunpoint. It was an act of pure fatherly devotion, and it ended in tragedy.
Here’s how it unfolded. Erebia’s son was pumping gas when a man identified as London Hogan Sr. walked up, drew a weapon, and drove off with the truck. Erebia, unwilling to let it go, used GPS tracking to locate the stolen vehicle. He found it. He confronted the suspect. And Hogan Sr. shot him dead.
Hogan Sr. is now charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He appeared in probable cause court Monday morning, where a judge read the charges aloud.
What makes this story even more infuriating, and it was already plenty infuriating, is that London Hogan Sr. is a career felon who, according to court records, was on deferred adjudication stemming from an assault case as recently as 2023. He was already in the system. Already known. And still on the street with a gun, ready to rob a young man at a gas station and murder that young man’s father when the family dared to fight back.

This is the real-world consequence of a justice system that keeps recycling violent offenders back into neighborhoods where decent, hardworking families are just trying to live their lives.
Erebia’s family is now demanding justice. His sister wrote on Facebook: “Tomorrow, we are asking all family, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by Louis Erebia to stand with us as we demand justice for a life taken far too soon.”
She went on: “Louis died doing exactly what he did every day of his life — protecting others. He was a hero down to his very last breath. A pillar of our community, the backbone of our family, and a man whose selflessness impacted countless lives, Louis never hesitated to help those in need. He gave of himself freely and served others without question.”

A man like that deserves justice. His family deserves justice. And the rest of us deserve a legal system that stops turning dangerous repeat offenders loose to prey on people like Louis Erebia.
Rest in peace.
