URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Jasmine Crockett showed up to a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday and delivered exactly what anyone who has watched her for five minutes would expect: a prolonged, race-obsessed meltdown that had very little to do with actual legislation and everything to do with her apparent belief that every policy she disagrees with can be explained by two words: white supremacy.
The hearing was on the “Permanent Trump Secure Border Act,” which would codify President Trump’s immigration policies ahead of the midterm elections. Crockett, the outgoing Texas Democrat, couldn’t even pretend to engage with the substance of the bill. She opened by essentially warning her colleagues that things were about to get unhinged.
“Y’all knew it was coming, especially once I showed up,” she told the room.
“But let’s talk about what this is really about,” she continued. “and I know y’all knew it was coming, especially once I showed up: It’s racist. It’s just racist, racist, racist!”
Three times. In case anyone missed it the first two.
She then attempted to explain her reasoning. “Okay, now let me tell you why it is racist. All right, this ain’t about whether or not you’re concerned that the immigrant is coming in and the immigrant is gonna kill everybody. That is not what it is. It’s not,” Crockett said. “It’s the things like what your fearless leader said when he said they’re poisoning the blood, okay? What this is about is racism!”
Crockett then turned her attention to the Trump administration’s refugee program for White South Africans fleeing documented persecution and violence. “Let me just be clear: your president, he is the one that said white South African refugees needed their own program, and so therefore he decided that he would raise the cap on how many refugees could come into the United States, but it was only raised for white South Africans. The administration set a limit of 17,500 slots planned to admit more white South Africans as refugees this year,” she said, framing the protection of a persecuted minority group as somehow evidence of racism.
She also took aim at ICE agents, calling them “completely incompetent” who don’t “know how to do the daggone job,” accusing them of targeting people based on appearance.
Then came the part that should disqualify her from serving in Congress entirely. Crockett argued that indigenous people are the only legitimate residents of this country and suggested White Americans are the real illegal immigrants.
“The people that were here are the indigenous folk, and you know who ICE been rounding up? They’ve been rounding up indigenous people, the people that originally came, not the colonizers, but the original people,” she shouted.
She then delivered what amounted to an open declaration of her worldview: “So, what this is about is whiteness. Everything that this administration has pushed has been about white supremacy, your fear.”
Crockett also dismissed concerns about crime committed by illegal immigrants, saying, “You want to sit up here and act like the crime is being perpetrated by people of color, but the statistics say otherwise… anybody can commit a crime on any given day.”
She closed with: “I know that y’all believe in propaganda, and y’all don’t want people to know the truth, and y’all definitely don’t want them to know history, because then you gotta again acknowledge colonizing.”
Jasmine Crockett is an outgoing member of Congress. Texas voters will have the final word, and based on this performance, they’ve seen more than enough.
