URGENT: HELP A CONSERVATIVE FAMILY IN NEED!
(DC Pundit) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York recently spoke with a TMZ reporter while campaigning in Michigan and declared that raising questions about Abdul El-Sayed’s alleged family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood is racist.
According to AOC, El-Sayed is the real victim here. She pointed to the struggles his family faced when he was a little boy and suggested that if you dig hard enough into anyone’s background, you will find some questionable connections. She actually tried to make that the defense.
For the Democratic Socialists of America, this Michigan Senate race is the big test case of the cycle. They believe if they can drag El-Sayed across the finish line, they can pull the same trick anywhere in the country. That is why the Squad is pouring time and money into the effort.

Let’s be honest. If a Republican candidate had family connections to a group with a documented history of supporting radical causes, AOC would not be out there calling the scrutiny racist. She would be leading the charge for more investigation. The double standard could not be more obvious.
El-Sayed is running as a progressive Democrat against Republican Mike Rogers in a state that has grown tired of radical experiments. Conservatives have every right to examine the background of someone seeking a seat in the United States Senate. Pretending that basic due diligence equals bigotry is the left’s favorite way to shut down uncomfortable questions.
AOC can call it racist all she wants. Voters still get to decide whether the answers hold up.
