(DC Pundit) – If you haven’t been following the massive Feeding Our Future fraud case out of Minnesota, now is a very good time to start paying attention, because the name appearing repeatedly in the trial exhibits is one you’ll recognize immediately.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who represents Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District and has never been a stranger to controversy, is now directly connected — at least in documented communications — to Aimee Bock, the mastermind behind what stands as the largest COVID-era fraud scheme targeting children’s nutrition programs. Bock was convicted in 2025 on wire fraud, conspiracy, and bribery charges related to a scheme that funneled a staggering $250 million in federal pandemic funds to fake meal sites, luxury cars, jewelry, and overseas real estate.

According to trial exhibits unsealed in Bock’s case, one email chain between Bock and Omar’s office was literally titled “Ilhan’s Office.” Another email from February 2021 carried the subject line “help with USDA food program” — right in the thick of the fraud operation, according to the New York Post. Text messages recovered during a raid of Bock’s Minnesota home also show direct communication between the convicted fraudster and Omar’s congressional staff. Quite the paper trail.

It gets worse. Omar’s campaign received donations from multiple Feeding Our Future defendants — cash she only returned after the indictments started rolling in. How convenient. A former Omar staffer, Guhaad Hashi Said, pleaded guilty to his own role in the scheme, admitting to operating a bogus food site that pocketed millions in taxpayer money.

Then there’s the Safari Restaurant connection, which has “pay-to-play” written all over it. Omar celebrated her 2018 primary victory at the Somali-owned Safari Restaurant in Minneapolis — a key Feeding Our Future site later convicted of stealing over $16 million by claiming millions of phantom meals that never actually happened. The restaurant’s co-owner, Salim Ahmed Said, used stolen funds for a $2 million mansion and $9,000 monthly shopping sprees at Nordstrom. Omar even appeared in a resurfaced video at the restaurant praising the program in Somali, right as the fraud was exploding around her.

Minnesota Republican Rep. Kristin Robbins has now formally asked the House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer, to subpoena Omar’s office communications after Omar reportedly refused to cooperate with a state fraud investigation examining her office’s ties to individuals connected to the scheme.

Children’s nutrition money. Phantom meals. Mansions and Nordstrom shopping sprees. And a congresswoman whose name keeps showing up everywhere investigators look. Minnesota deserves real answers and so does the rest of America.

(DC Pundit) – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has never been shy about her socialist worldview, but during a Friday night appearance at the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, she dropped any pretense of playing the traditional political game entirely and what she revealed should concern every freedom-loving American.

Speaking with longtime Democratic strategist David Axelrod, the congresswoman from New York’s 14th district brushed aside questions about a potential 2028 presidential run or a challenge to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, pivoting instead to something she clearly considers far grander than any single office.

AOC took aim at what she described as elite media power, referencing a Washington Post op-ed and declaring, “This was the elite saying, ‘If you want this job, you just stepped out of line. And we want you to know where the real power is. And it’s in the modern-day barons who own the Post and own the algorithms, and we’re gonna — we’ll make an example out of you.'” The irony of a socialist complaining about powerful elites while simultaneously pushing policies that would hand even more control to the federal government is apparently lost on her.

She then made her real intentions crystal clear. “They assume that my ambition is positional. They assume that my ambition is a title or a seat,” she said. “My ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go, Senate, House seats, elected officials, come and go, but single-payer healthcare is forever. A living wage is forever. Workers’ rights are forever. Women’s rights — all of that.”

Axelrod: There are a lot of people who would like you to run for president in 2028. And there are others who would like you to run for the senate.

She wrapped things up with this gem: “When you aren’t attached, right? When you haven’t been, like, fantasizing about being this or that since the time you were seven years old, um, it is tremendously liberating, because I get to wake up every day and say, ‘How am I gonna meet the moment?'”

AOC is playing the long game — one aimed at fundamentally dismantling the free-market, faith-based, individual-liberty foundations that made this country the greatest nation on earth and replacing them with a socialist wish list dressed up as compassion.

True patriots know that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction, and now more than ever, we must stay vigilant, informed, and engaged.

(DC Pundit) – There are two things Democrats in Washington do exceptionally well: dodge accountability and crank up the inflammatory rhetoric until something goes terribly wrong. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has apparently decided to master both, and President Donald Trump isn’t about to let it slide without a fight.

Following the most recent assassination attempt on his life, Trump took to Truth Social, going after Jeffries for language that many Republicans believe helped create a climate ripe for political violence. “This lunatic, Hakeem ‘Low IQ’ Jeffries, should be charged with INCITING VIOLENCE!” Trump posted, alongside an image of Jeffries standing near a photo of Trump bearing the words “maximum warfare, everywhere all the time.” Paired with that was a screenshot from footage showing gunman Cory Tomas Allen arriving at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. Not exactly a great look for the House Minority Leader.

Trump didn’t stop there, adding, “The Radical Left Democrats actually want to Destroy our Country.”

When Jeffries was asked about the “maximum warfare” comment he made, his response was about as tone-deaf as you’d expect. “I stand by it,” he told Axios, before brushing off Republican criticism entirely. “You can continue to criticize me for it. I don’t give a damn about the criticism … get lost,” he said. Real statesmanlike stuff, Hakeem.

Republican Rep. Randy Fine of Florida was having absolutely none of it. “So-called Hakeem Jeffries is a disgrace to the United States Congress,” Fine posted on X. “He is deranged, disgusting and violent. It is unacceptable that House Democrats continue to remain silent in the aftermath of his call for ‘maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time’ against Republicans,” he wrote, adding, “Their casual acceptance of hateful and divisive language enables this out-of-control behavior.”

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) just called White House Press Secretary Leavitt a “stone cold liar” for highlighting the violent rhetoric Democrats have spewed for years.

Jeffries, who has represented New York’s 8th Congressional District since 2013, became House Minority Leader in January 2023 — a role that, one would assume, carries with it at least a baseline expectation of responsible leadership. Apparently, nobody passed that memo along. When a gunman shows up at a prominent event and your own inflammatory words are being displayed right alongside his image on social media, the politically savvy — and frankly, human — response is to show some humility and walk it back. Instead, Jeffries told his critics to “get lost.” The silence from the rest of the Democratic Party has been deafening, and that silence speaks volumes about just how far off the rails the left has gone.

(DC Pundit) – For years, conservatives have watched the FBI transform from a respected law enforcement agency into what many viewed as a bloated, politically weaponized bureaucracy more interested in targeting Trump supporters than actually protecting the American people. Under Director Kash Patel, that appears to be changing.

Patel describes the overhaul as a “generational” transformation, and the numbers back that up. According to a draft letter to FBI personnel, more than 1,000 agents and staff have already been reassigned from Washington headquarters to field offices across the country, with additional intelligence personnel moved closer to active investigations. The message is simple: get out of the conference rooms in D.C. and get back into communities where the actual work gets done.

The restructuring doesn’t stop at moving bodies around. Patel has launched a sweeping modernization effort centered on artificial intelligence, allowing agents to process tips faster, identify threats earlier, and cut through the kind of bureaucratic red tape that has historically slowed the bureau to a crawl. The FBI has also expanded partnerships with tech companies and improved coordination with state and local law enforcement.

On the financial side, a comprehensive review of contracts and facilities has already produced more than $300 million in savings, with billions more projected as long-term reforms, including a planned headquarters relocation, move forward. Taxpayers should appreciate that.

Perhaps most significantly, a new multi-agency mission center has been established to target domestic terrorism and politically motivated violence, representing a genuine shift toward proactive threat prevention rather than reactive damage control.

The early results are hard to argue with. The FBI reports disrupting four terrorist plots in December alone, including three linked to ISIS-inspired suspects, by tracking threats both online and on the ground.

Speaking alongside Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Patel has been consistent in his message: the FBI is becoming leaner, faster, and laser-focused on its core mission. Notably, he has credited rank-and-file agents, many of whom spent years frustrated by internal politics and bureaucracy, for driving the push toward real reform.

This is what it looks like when someone who actually believes in law enforcement runs the FBI. About time.

(DC Pundit) – Southwest Airlines has a serious problem on its hands, and how the company handles it will tell Americans everything they need to know about where the airline’s true priorities lie.

Southwest flight attendant Meesh Carpino has been exposed for posting a series of deeply disturbing messages on social media calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump. Following the most recent attempt on the president’s life, Carpino apparently couldn’t contain her disappointment that it had failed.

It didn’t stop there. Three days after the first assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Carpino posted: “One day we will wake up to his obituary.” She also echoed the phrase “86 47” — the same language that led to former FBI Director James Comey’s federal indictment on Thursday. Additionally, Carpino has taken to calling MAGA supporters “hillbilly ISIS” on social media and posted “F**K ICE” for good measure.

Following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, Carpino apparently pleaded for the attacker to finally finish the job against Trump. “Oh, sweet baby Jesus,” she wrote while monitoring the situation, growing visibly enraged when she learned the attempt had failed.

X users wasted no time demanding Southwest take action, vowing to boycott the airline entirely if Carpino is not terminated.

She should be fired. @SouthwestAir this is not acceptable. She may be on her own time but she is a potential danger to passengers. No more Southwest flights for me.

Southwest responded with a carefully worded statement to the New York Post: “Southwest is aware of these posts and we are addressing the situation. While we don’t comment on personnel matters, this content does not reflect our values and we take it seriously.”

“Addressing the situation” and “taking it seriously” are not the same thing as firing someone. Southwest needs to understand that distinction — and fast.

Any Trump supporter, any conservative, any decent American who values the life of their president should think very carefully before boarding a Southwest flight while this woman remains employed by the airline. If Southwest Airlines cannot bring itself to terminate an employee who publicly cheered for the assassination of a sitting U.S. president, then Americans have every right — and every reason — to take their business elsewhere. Permanently.

(DC Pundit) – Iowa Republican Senator Joni Ernst has uncovered what appears to be a deliberate effort by Biden administration officials to conceal taxpayer-funded COVID relief loans to Planned Parenthood. And, they allegedly did it using a rather eyebrow-raising codeword: “Benghazi.”

Ernst posted a thread on social media this week revealing internal Small Business Administration emails from 2021 showing agency officials using the term as apparent cover for discussions about Planned Parenthood. In one exchange, the SBA’s senior attorney messaged the agency’s chief of staff requesting a meeting on “Benghazi (Planned Parenthood).” The chief of staff responded simply, “Yes, let’s talk Benghazi.”

For those who need a refresher, Benghazi is a city in Libya, site of the devastating 2012 Islamic terror attack that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. It was also the subject of years of congressional investigations into Hillary Clinton’s handling of the crisis as Secretary of State. Using it as a secret code for Planned Parenthood discussions is either spectacularly tone-deaf or deliberately calculated to evade detection. Possibly both.

Ernst said she has asked the Justice Department to examine the codeword as a potential case of record concealment, which would be a violation of federal law. “If code words were used to evade congressional oversight into $90+ million in COVID-era loans to a top Biden political ally, there must be accountability!” she stated.

The SBA ultimately handed Planned Parenthood $90 million in forgivable Paycheck Protection Program loans, funds that were supposed to help small businesses keep employees on payroll during COVID shutdowns. Planned Parenthood, which performed a record 434,000 abortions between 2023 and 2024, is many things, but a struggling small business is not one of them.

Current SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler is now pushing back hard. She sent letters to 38 Planned Parenthood affiliates demanding documentation proving their eligibility for the funds and made her position unmistakably clear: “Six years later, the Trump SBA holds the same conviction: Planned Parenthood Federation of America was never eligible to receive a dime in pandemic-era relief from taxpayers.”

Loeffler added: “Not only will we expose the Planned Parenthood affiliates who took advantage of the American people, we will take every necessary step to force every bad actor to pay them back.”

It’s about time someone did.
