(DC Pundit) – Has anyone else noticed that nearly every time Rep. Ilhan Omar steps in front of a microphone, America somehow ends up as the villain?

In recent public remarks, the Minnesota Democrat launched a fresh attack on Immigration and Customs Enforcement, calling ICE an “occupying force in Minneapolis” and labeling the agency an “unlawful paramilitary force.”

Those are strong words aimed at federal law enforcement officers whose job is enforcing immigration laws passed by Congress, signed by presidents, and upheld by courts. But apparently, in Omar’s world, that makes them rogue occupiers.

Let’s be clear: the men and women of ICE are carrying out duties assigned to them by the federal government. They investigate human trafficking, drug smuggling, and illegal immigration operations that harm American communities. Whether Omar likes it or not, ICE exists because the United States is a sovereign nation with borders. That used to be a bipartisan concept.

Omar, who represents Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, has made a career out of attacking America’s institutions while enjoying all the privileges of serving in Congress. Her latest comments fit a familiar pattern—tear down law enforcement, blame the system, and score political points with the progressive base. It’s a strategy that plays well on social media but does absolutely nothing to improve public safety.

For conservatives and Republicans, this kind of rhetoric is exhausting but predictable. While President Donald Trump continues pushing for stronger border security and law and order, Democrats like Omar seem determined to undermine enforcement at every turn. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.

There’s also a fair question many Americans are asking: what exactly is made better by Omar’s constant attacks on the country she represents? Instead of working to improve conditions in Minneapolis, where crime and public safety remain serious concerns, she chooses to demonize federal officers doing their jobs.

ICE agents risk their lives every day confronting dangerous criminals and organized smuggling networks. They do more for this country in a single shift than Omar’s divisive talking points ever will.

At the end of the day, Americans want safe communities, secure borders, and leaders who support law enforcement, not lawmakers who smear them for political theater. Unfortunately, with Ilhan Omar, outrage always seems to come easier than solutions.

(DC Pundit) – Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is apparently still furious about last week’s vinegar incident. You know, the one where she conveniently got sprayed right after demanding DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s resignation.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes,” Omar went full throttle against the Trump administration, promising that Democrats will impeach Noem if she doesn’t resign.

Omar also set her sights on White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller, calling the Jewish Trump aide “a copycat of the Nazis” and declaring that “he should definitely be out, I believe, for his part in this, definitely should be prosecuted at some point.” The irony of using Nazi comparisons while targeting a Jewish official apparently escaped her entirely.

The Minnesota congresswoman blamed President Trump for creating anger “by going after Somali immigrants,” conveniently ignoring the fact that Trump’s immigration enforcement targets illegal entry regardless of national origin. “It is their rhetoric that is risking lives, that have already gotten people killed here in Minnesota, that is producing political violence,” Omar told Hayes. “And they are creating the domestic terrorists that they speak about because they are acting like domestic terrorists.”

Speaking of credibility issues, this is the same representative who couldn’t give a coherent answer when pressed about whether the vinegar attack was staged. It wouldn’t be her first rodeo with questionable narratives either. Remember when Omar accused ICE agents of stopping her son and “racially profiling” him because he’s Somali? ICE quickly demolished that story, revealing they had “absolutely ZERO record of its officers or agents pulling over Congresswoman Omar’s son.” Oops.

But facts haven’t stopped the Democratic crusade against Trump’s immigration team. Omar doubled down on her Noem demands, telling Hayes: “Definitely, Kristi Noem should resign. If not, as Leader Hakeem Jeffries stated, we will initiate impeachment.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has already signaled the Democrats are unified in this effort, declaring last week that they will imminently move forward with Noem’s impeachment, claiming she has “presided over the cold-blooded killings of American citizens like Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.”

The Democrats’ playbook remains predictable: when you can’t win on policy, impeach. When enforcement of existing immigration laws doesn’t align with your open-borders agenda, cry racism and Nazi comparisons. It’s a strategy they’ve perfected over the years, facts and contradictions be damned.

(DC Pundit) – Far-left Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) made an already volatile situation worse on Friday when she appeared in Los Angeles and openly encouraged radical activists as demonstrations against Immigration and Customs Enforcement spiraled into violence. What began as part of the nationwide “ICE Out Everywhere” protests quickly turned into chaos outside an ICE detention facility, with law enforcement officers forced to restore order as the situation deteriorated.

Anti-ICE demonstrators clashed with federal agents and local police stationed outside the facility. Rioters were seen hurling objects at shielded federal officers, who responded with pepper balls and other nonlethal munitions in an effort to push the mob back. At one point, demonstrators dragged a dumpster toward the entrance of the detention center and set it on fire, a visual that left little doubt that this was no peaceful protest.

Videos circulating on social media placed Waters at the front of the unrest as demonstrators were ordered to disperse for surrounding a federal building, trespassing on federal property, and later assaulting federal officers.

After pepper spray was deployed, Waters briefly retreated—only to return wearing a mask and resume directing the crowd. Earlier footage showed her arriving in a black SUV, stepping out to rally protesters, flailing her arms, and leading chants of “ICE Out of LA.” The optics were difficult to miss: a sitting member of Congress not calming tensions, but inflaming them.

In one video, Waters told independent reporter Anthony Cabassa that her instructions to the mob were to “stay on the street, stay on the street.” When Cabassa reminded her that demonstrators were on federal property, she doubled down, repeating, “Stay on the street.” It was a remarkable moment of defiance toward federal law enforcement from someone sworn to uphold the law.

Waters then directed a message at ICE agents themselves, saying, “We don’t want you in Los Angeles, and we thought you had sense enough with the President to start getting out of Minneapolis, but I guess you have no sense and you don’t understand the power of the people.” She continued, “We are not going away. We don’t want you in any of our cities in this country, and we’re going to fight you every inch of the way.”

Her rhetoric didn’t stop there. Waters also launched into a tirade against President Donald Trump, declaring, “Donald Trump, you are absolutely the most outrageous, the most terrible, the most deplorable human being that I’ve ever met. You have no compassion for anybody.” She accused the president of targeting immigration to convince supporters he is “all-powerful” and claimed, “they’re attacking everybody, Americans too.” Referencing unrest elsewhere, she added, “You see what they’re doing up in Minneapolis.” Waters concluded with a familiar promise: “And so, Donald Trump, we are going to make sure we’re going to beat you!”

When violence erupts on the left, it’s activism. When leaders like Waters egg it on, it’s suddenly called passion. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers are left dealing with the flames, sometimes literal ones, while elected leftists such as Waters cheer from the front lines.

(DC Pundit) – Rep. Ilhan Omar found herself doing political gymnastics after being asked a straightforward question by CNN about claims that a bizarre liquid attack against her may have been staged. Rather than offering a clear yes-or-no answer, the Minnesota congresswoman pivoted sharply and aimed her fire at President Donald Trump.

The incident in question occurred Tuesday during a town hall event, where Omar was spritzed with apple cider vinegar from a syringe by Anthony J. Kazmierczak, 55. Authorities did not treat the matter lightly. Kazmierczak has been charged with “forcibly assaulting, opposing, impeding, and intimidating an officer and employee of the United States.”

Following the incident, President Trump openly questioned whether the episode was legitimate or theatrically manufactured. When asked by ABC News if he had seen the video of the encounter, Trump did not mince words. “No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her,” the president said.

That comment set the stage for CNN’s Kaitlan Collins to ask Omar directly about the allegation during an appearance on The Source Wednesday night. Collins posed the question plainly, asking whether the attack had been staged. Omar, however, chose not to address that claim at all.

Instead, she redirected the conversation toward Trump, escalating her rhetoric and questioning his mental fitness for office. “Well, I mean, this is also somebody who was talking about me in his town hall, in Iowa, and then seems to exhibit some sort of dementia when he says he doesn’t think about me. Maybe it is time for us to — for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, because he certainly cannot remember what he has said and has done, an hour ago,” Omar said.

The exchange was revealing. A simple factual question was met not with clarity, but with personal attacks and speculation. Whether one believes Trump’s skepticism was warranted or not, Omar’s refusal to directly answer left the impression that deflection was the safer route.

In politics, dodging questions is hardly new. But when the topic involves a criminal charge and a public incident, voters tend to notice who answers plainly, and who doesn’t.

(DC Pundit) – Videos circulating on X have ignited outrage after a woman, widely identified online as a health care worker connected to Virginia Commonwealth University Health, openly promoted acts of violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. What she described as “resistance” was, to any rational observer, something far darker: calculated, premeditated evil.

In a series of videos, the woman casually discussed ways to physically harm federal law enforcement officers, exploiting her apparent medical knowledge and access to clinical tools. At one point, she encouraged fellow medical professionals to weaponize syringes and chemicals, suggesting substances that could incapacitate agents under the guise of a “deterrent.” This wasn’t satire. It wasn’t hypothetical. It was a blueprint.

She went further, recommending protesters harvest poison ivy or poison oak, soak it in water, and load it into water guns to spray directly into agents’ faces and hands. The intent was clear: cause pain, injury, and fear — all while pretending it was harmless activism.

But the most disturbing comments came when she urged women to personally target ICE agents through dating apps. She suggested luring agents on dates and secretly drugging their drinks with laxatives to incapacitate them. She bragged about the plan being “easily deniable” and ended her rant by encouraging viewers to “stay toxic.”

Meet Melinda, a healthcare worker at @VCUHealth. She posted a series of videos encouraging people to inject ICE agents with succinylocholine, a temporary paralysis drug, and spray poison on them. She also encourages woman to go on dates with agents and drug their food.

This is not protest. This is not free speech. This is the kind of moral rot conservatives have warned about for years — radical ideology so unhinged that it justifies poisoning people who wear a badge and enforce the law.

ICE agents are not faceless villains. They are Americans doing a dangerous job to uphold the nation’s laws. Encouraging attacks on them is no different than encouraging attacks on police officers or soldiers. When calls for violence come from someone believed to work in health care — a profession built on trust and saving lives — it crosses into something truly sinister.

This woman’s actions are evil. Full stop.

In short: the rhetoric of violence cost this woman her career. For anyone else in trusted professions flirting with radical extremism, the message is clear: promote evil, and there will be consequences.
