Biden-Appointed Judge Releases Illegal Alien Wanted For Murder — Now Free On U.S. Streets

(DC Pundit) – There are judicial decisions that make you scratch your head, and then there are judicial decisions that make you genuinely fear for the safety of your community. What just happened in Rhode Island falls firmly into the second category.

Bryan Rafael Gomez, a Dominican national living in the United States illegally, was arrested by ICE in Worcester, Massachusetts on April 4th after a local domestic abuse arrest triggered a background check. What that check revealed was alarming, Dominican authorities had issued a criminal arrest warrant against Gomez for homicide in 2023, and he is the subject of an active Interpol Red Notice, which is essentially an international arrest warrant for murder.

ICE detained Gomez at a facility in Rhode Island. An immigration judge issued a deportation order on April 28th. Everything was proceeding exactly as it should. And then U.S. District Judge Melissa DuBose stepped in and blew the whole thing up.

DuBose, a Biden appointee confirmed in 2024, ordered Gomez released on the grounds of “continuous unlawful detention.” ICE had argued, correctly, that Gomez was subject to mandatory detention because of the active international homicide warrant. The judge ignored that argument entirely and set a man wanted for murder free to walk the streets of America.

To make this even more infuriating, Gomez was originally caught and released at the southern border by the Biden administration back in 2022. ICE spent years tracking him down, finally located him in Massachusetts, secured a deportation order — and a Biden-appointed judge undid all of it in one ruling.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin broke the story on X, and the details are as maddening as they sound. ICE cannot rearrest him. Thanks to Judge DuBose’s ruling, a fugitive wanted for murder by Interpol is now free to live among unsuspecting American communities.

This is the direct and predictable consequence of Biden’s open border policies combined with activist judges who prioritize the rights of criminal illegal aliens over the safety of American citizens. Every Republican in Congress should be demanding answers — loudly and immediately.

(DC Pundit) – There are Republicans who fight for the people who elected them, and then there are Republicans who get to Washington and forget why they were sent there in the first place. Senate Majority Leader John Thune is looking more and more like the latter, and some of his own colleagues are sounding the alarm.

Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, one of the few members of Congress who consistently speaks plainly and fights hard, dropped a bombshell warning on X, revealing that Thune will block a permanent ban on Central Bank Digital Currencies from any legislation the House sends over.

Shortly after Luna’s post, Rep. Tim Burchett confirmed the same on his own account.

Let’s be clear about what a Central Bank Digital Currency actually means for everyday Americans. A CBDC would hand the Federal Reserve and the broader administrative state the power to monitor every single financial transaction you make. Buy a firearm? They know. Donate to a conservative cause? They know. Attend a Trump rally? They know. And if they don’t like what you’re doing, they can freeze your accounts. This is the exact same technology the Chinese Communist Party uses to control and surveil its own population, and Thune is apparently perfectly comfortable allowing it to find a foothold in the United States.

That’s alarming enough on its own. But Thune’s betrayal doesn’t stop there. He has also killed the SAVE America Act, the critical legislation that would require proof of U.S. citizenship and photo ID to vote in federal elections. The kind of common-sense election integrity measure that the overwhelming majority of Americans support.

Rather than fight for it, Thune dismissed the enormous grassroots pressure campaign demanding its passage as nothing but “propaganda by paid influencers.” He then took a two-week recess and quietly dropped the bill entirely, prompting Luna to expose him publicly on X, revealing that Thune is “no longer considering the SAVE America Act.”

Republicans sent John Thune to lead the Senate majority. And now, he’s using his position to block conservative priorities while handing the left exactly what they want. Conservatives across the country deserve better than this.

(DC Pundit) – Just days after yet another failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, New York Democratic Congressman Jerry Nadler decided the appropriate response was to crank up his inflammatory rhetoric against the sitting president.

Nadler used the occasion to promote legislation aimed at banning President Trump’s name from appearing on federal buildings, and he did so while hurling some of the most irresponsible language a sitting member of Congress could possibly deploy in the current political climate.

“Donald Trump is a convicted felon, a twice impeached president, and America’s chief insurrectionist,” Nadler declared, adding that Trump’s name on a federal building or monument would be associated with “tyranny.”

He continued: “His name is unfit to honor our nation’s buildings. I am proud to introduce this bill to stop Donald Trump from using taxpayer-funded buildings for his personal vanity projects, because New Yorkers deserve public spaces that they can respect, not monuments to tyranny and corruption.”

Nadler even posted a video on X featuring establishment media headlines, including one from The Guardian reading, “Dictator vibes as dear leader Trump puts name front and center.” Nothing says responsible governance like amplifying foreign media hit pieces on your own president two days after someone tried to kill him.

And speaking of that assassination attempt, the accused would-be assassin, California teacher Cole Allen, laid out his motivations in a manifesto that used language strikingly similar to what Democrats and their media allies have been hurling at Trump for years. Allen wrote that he would target those attending the event because, in his warped view, “most people chose to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor, and are thus complicit.”

Pedophile. Rapist. Traitor. Sound familiar? It should, because that is precisely the kind of language the American left has normalized against President Trump for years. Nadler and his colleagues have spent years pouring gasoline on this fire, and then they act shocked when someone strikes a match. The pattern is impossible to ignore.

(DC Pundit) – If you ever needed proof that some members of Congress have absolutely no business sitting in judgment of the agencies they oversee, look no further than what happened Monday when EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin appeared before the House Appropriations Committee to discuss President Trump’s 2027 budget request, a proposal that would cut the agency’s budget in half if approved.

Connecticut Democratic Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, recognizable by her signature purple hair, came in hot and swinging, angrily attacking Zeldin for “appeasing polluters” and ignoring Americans under “the false flag of economic growth.” Standard left-wing boilerplate, delivered with the usual theatrical outrage.

Zeldin, however, didn’t take the bait. Instead, he calmly explained that he is simply following the law, and that the law says nothing about fighting climate change. Then he did something that exposed DeLauro completely: he asked if she was familiar with the Loper Bright Supreme Court case.

Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo is the landmark 2024 Supreme Court decision that overturned the decades-old Chevron doctrine, the legal framework that had long allowed unelected federal bureaucrats to essentially create law through regulatory action. The Court struck it down 6-3 as unconstitutional.

DeLauro had no idea what he was talking about. And rather than admit it, she went completely off the rails.

“You do not, excuse, you don’t have the right to say climate change does not exist, that it’s a hoax!” she screamed at the EPA Administrator.

Zeldin then brought up another landmark ruling, West Virginia v. EPA, a 2022 Supreme Court decision in which the Court determined 6-3 that Congress never authorized the EPA to force existing power plants to combat climate change using the Clean Air Act, effectively reining in the agency’s greenhouse gas regulatory authority.

DeLauro had apparently never heard of that one either. Backed into a corner with no legal argument left to make, she finally snapped entirely, declaring, “I don’t have to listen to this BS!”

A sitting member of Congress, responsible for overseeing federal agencies, completely unaware of two landmark Supreme Court decisions directly relevant to the hearing she was participating in. But sure, Lee Zeldin is the problem.

(DC Pundit) – A 31-year-old California man named Cole Allen stormed the lobby of the Washington Hilton on Saturday evening and opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, sending President Trump, First Lady Melania, and Cabinet officials fleeing from the ballroom under Secret Service protection. Footage captured Allen sprinting past a Secret Service checkpoint as federal agents engaged him. A Secret Service agent was shot during the confrontation but is expected to recover.

By Sunday, the picture of Allen’s motives had become crystal clear — because he spelled them out himself in a written manifesto expressing his rabid hatred for President Trump and his administration. Allen stated he was specifically targeting Trump and his officials, calling the president a “pedophile, rapist, and traitor.”

In the manifesto, Allen wrote: “Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial. I’m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when someone else is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.”

He continued: “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”

The motive couldn’t be more obvious if it came with a neon sign. And yet, former President Barack Obama somehow managed to release a statement suggesting otherwise.

“Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all of us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy,” Obama said. He added, “It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.”

A manifesto. Specific targets named. Explicit hatred documented in the shooter’s own words.

And yet, Barack Obama says we just don’t know the motive yet. You truly cannot make this stuff up.

When you spend years calling a man a pedophile, a rapist, a traitor, and the greatest threat to democracy in American history, don’t be surprised when someone unhinged enough actually believes it and decides to act on it. The blood-soaked rhetoric of the left has real world consequences, and Saturday night at the Washington Hilton proved it once again.

(DC Pundit) – The man suspected of opening fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been identified as Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California — and despite early reports suggesting he had been killed, Allen is very much alive and in custody.

Secret Service agents neutralized Allen in the lobby near the security screening area of the Washington Hilton, where the annual dinner was being held. New York Post and Fox News reporter Karol Markowicz confirmed the details in a post on X, stating: “The attempted shooter at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner is 31 year old Cole Tomas Allen from Torrance, California and he is in custody.”

According to reports, Allen assembled a long weapon in an unsecured back room before attempting to open fire near the magnetometers — a deeply alarming security lapse that will undoubtedly raise serious questions about event protocols going forward. Video footage shows law enforcement and Secret Service agents detaining a man on the ground in the Hilton lobby.

Allen appears to be a Caltech graduate who earned his master’s degree in computer science from California State University, Dominguez Hills just last year. He also worked as a teacher and was named “Teacher of the Month” in December 2024 at C2 Education in Torrance, according to an Instagram post.

As of early Sunday morning, no manifesto or clear motive had been publicly released, and the investigation remains ongoing. What is clear is that Secret Service agents acted swiftly and decisively to prevent what could have been an absolute catastrophe.

(DC Pundit) – New York City’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, has been called a terrorist-supporting communist who despises America by many observers. His defenders push back on that description, but the man keeps making their job harder by the day.

Earlier this month, Mamdani signed an “emergency” order banning large public gatherings in New York City during the World Cup — a soccer tournament the United States is co-hosting this summer alongside Canada and Mexico. If that arrangement already feels like an affront to American exceptionalism, wait until you hear what Mamdani did next.

New York City had been planning a public ball drop in Times Square on the evening of July 3, a patriotic celebration timed to the nation’s 250th birthday. Thanks to Mamdani’s order, that event has been gutted and downgraded to a “limited, ticketed in-person experience” inside the One Times Square building. At least 25 other major events are now at risk of cancellation — all so the city can conserve resources for a soccer tournament that, it should be noted, isn’t even being played in New York City. The World Cup games are being held at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey, nearly 10 miles from Times Square. So Mamdani is canceling Fourth of July celebrations in New York for games being played in New Jersey.

The mayor insists this is about resource management. A lot of New Yorkers aren’t buying it, and frankly, neither should you.

As if all of that weren’t enough, Mamdani has also apparently put a curse on the New York Mets. The mayor visited Citi Field on April 9 and posed for selfies with team mascots Mr. and Mrs. Met. The Mets then proceeded to lose 11 straight games. The team finally snapped the losing streak this week, but even that victory came at a cost, star shortstop Francisco Lindor, a Gold Glove-caliber player and one of the team’s most reliable hitters, left the game in the fourth inning with a calf injury and did not return.

The man has been mayor for a matter of months and he’s already canceled July 4th and cursed a baseball team. New Yorkers voted for this. The rest of America watches in disbelief.

(DC Pundit) – Two Cache County, Utah residents — Rose Inessa-Ethington, 42, also known as Eri Ethington, and Blue Inessa-Ethington, 32, also known as Carly Ann Crosby — were deported from Cuba and now face federal charges of International Parental Kidnapping and Aiding and Abetting, according to a Department of Justice news release.

The 10-year-old boy was supposed to be traveling to Canada on March 28 for a camping trip with his father — Rose Inessa-Ethington, the child’s mother’s former husband, who now identifies as female. When April 3 arrived and the child didn’t return home, his mother contacted authorities. It was eventually discovered that the group had flown first to Mexico and then to Cuba, taking both the 10-year-old and a 3-year-old child along.

The family’s fears were serious and well-documented. The complaint stated that “concerns exist that MV 1 was transported to Cuba for gender reassignment surgery prior to puberty,” and further noted that the child’s female identification “is largely believed to be due to manipulation by Rose Inessa-Ethington” — despite the fact that the boy was born male.

Searches of the suspects’ residence turned up notes “from a mental health therapist located in Washington D.C. including instruction to send the therapist the $10,000.00 and instructions on gender affirming medical care for children.”

On April 13, a Utah state court granted the mother sole custody and ordered the child returned. Three days later, authorities located the group in Cuba. The Trump administration sent a plane to retrieve the child — because that’s what actually putting children first looks like.

The boy has since been reunited with his mother.

“We are grateful to law enforcement for working swiftly to return the child to the biological mother,” said First Assistant U.S. Attorney Melissa Holyoak for the District of Utah.

Both suspects were ordered detained following their initial hearing in Richmond, Virginia.

Omar’s husband Tim Mynett’s California-based winery venture, ESTCRU LLC — also known as eStCru Wines — has been officially dissolved. That wouldn’t be particularly newsworthy on its own, except for one rather glaring detail: the LLC was terminated just nine days after Omar quietly amended her financial disclosures, slashing her reported household wealth from potentially millions down to somewhere between $18,000 and $95,000. Nothing to see here, folks.

The whole mess came to a head in February when House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer sent a pointed letter to Mynett demanding answers about a stunning overnight wealth explosion. The letter stated: “Financial disclosure forms, filed by your wife Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, show eStCru LLC and Rose Lake Capital LLC, which you hold ownership stakes in, went from being worth as much as $51,000 in 2023 to as much as $30 million in 2024. Given that these companies do not publicly list their investors or where their money comes from, this sudden jump in value raises concerns that unknown individuals may be investing to gain influence with your wife.”

A jump from $51,000 to $30 million in a single year. For a winery. That nobody had ever heard of.

Omar’s office scrambled to explain the massive discrepancy away, blaming an “accounting error” tied to business liabilities that allegedly created a “misleading picture of far greater wealth.” She amended her disclosure on March 26, 2026. Then, nine days later on April 4, 2026, ESTCRU LLC was officially terminated by the state of California — powers, rights, and privileges gone, business formally dissolved.

Minnesota State Senator Michael Holmstrom sounded the alarm on X, posting the official “Certificate of Cancellation – LLC Termination” for ESTCRU LLC, Entity Number 202018810577. The termination document was signed by Mynett’s business partner, former DNC adviser Will Hailer.

An accounting error. A $30 million swing. A sudden dissolution. Perfectly normal stuff.

(DC Pundit) – For decades, the Southern Poverty Law Center has positioned itself as America’s self-appointed arbiter of hatred, gleefully labeling conservative organizations as “hate groups” while raking in hundreds of millions of dollars in donations from liberals. Well, it turns out the organization that built its entire brand on fighting extremism has been charged with secretly funding it.

The Department of Justice announced that the far-left SPLC was charged by an Alabama grand jury with 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.

According to the DOJ’s Office of Public Affairs, an indictment alleges that “starting in the 1980s, the SPLC began operating a covert network of individuals who were either associated with violent and extremist groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, or who had infiltrated violent extremist groups at the SPLC’s direction. Unbeknownst to donors, some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website.”

The charges don’t stop there. The SPLC allegedly “funneled more than $3 million donated funds to individuals who were associated” with groups including the National Socialist Movement, United Klans of America, and the Aryan Nations-affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche didn’t mince words. “The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence,” he stated. “Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked.”

FBI Director Kash Patel also weighed in, posting on X that he and Blanche were “announcing an 11 count indictment” against the organization.

It’s worth noting that just last May, the SPLC labeled Turning Point USA a “hate group” and placed conservative commentator Charlie Kirk squarely in its crosshairs.

All this, while allegedly cutting checks to actual Klansmen behind closed doors. The audacity is truly something to behold.
