URGENT: CLICK TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE LEFT!
(DC Pundit) – Leave it to Lindsey Graham to find something to complain about when the President of the United States is on the verge of ending a war. While President Trump was working the phones with Gulf leaders and pushing hard toward a peace agreement with Iran, South Carolina’s most enthusiastic cheerleader for endless military conflict was busy taking shots at the whole enterprise.
Graham attacked any potential deal on Saturday, framing it as capitulation.
This is the same Lindsey Graham who was arguably the loudest voice demanding that Trump escalate offensive operations, expand the war’s scope to include Lebanon, and in perhaps his most tone-deaf moment, encouraged South Carolinians to “send their sons and daughters over to the Mideast” to fight. Graham also called for the US to “go all-in to help Israel finish the job” after Israel initiated the so-called “12-Day War” with Iran.
Next came Operation Epic Fury in February, which resulted in the death of the Ayatollah. Graham finally had his war with Iran. And now that Trump is skillfully maneuvering toward an exit ramp, Graham is upset.
After describing the US and Iran as “getting a lot closer” to a peace agreement, Trump told reporters he was at a “solid 50/50” on either striking a deal or sending bombs to “blow them to kingdom come.”
Then a new proposal from Iran, which sources say included the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, combined with productive talks with Arab leaders, led Trump to announce that a deal is being finalized. War averted. Mission potentially accomplished.
Graham responded by warning this would represent “a major shift of the balance of power in the region” and adding gravely, “It is important we get this right.”
If a deal is struck to end the Iranian conflict because it is believed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be protected from Iranian terrorism and Iran still possesses the capability to destroy major Gulf oil infrastructure, then Iran will be perceived as being a dominate force…

He’s not wrong about that last part. It is important to get it right. Which is precisely why it’s fortunate that Donald Trump, and not Lindsey Graham, is the one sitting in the Oval Office making these decisions.
