(DC Pundit) – President Donald Trump has made it crystal clear since returning to the White House that disloyalty has a price tag and Thomas Massie just got the bill.
On Tuesday evening, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie lost his primary election to Trump-endorsed challenger Ed Gallrein, the latest casualty in what has become one of the biggest political house cleanings conservatives have witnessed in years. Trump’s RINO revenge tour is rolling, and it is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Earlier during the day, Trump came out swinging on X, making sure everyone knew exactly where he stood on Massie. “Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country,” Trump posted.
He wasn’t done. “I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent. WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump continued.

Both Decision Desk and the Associated Press called the race for Gallrein. Massie’s congressional career, for all intents and purposes, is cooked.

For those keeping score at home, this is far from an isolated incident. Trump launched his RINO purge campaign earlier this year with a simple mission: reward loyalty, punish betrayal. The results have been remarkably effective. Several Indiana state senate RINOs were recently shown the door after refusing to redraw their state’s congressional map the way voters demanded. On Saturday night, RINO Senator Bill Cassidy also lost his primary. The pattern is unmistakable.
Massie, for his part, had a long and complicated history with Trump. The Kentucky congressman was a frequent thorn in the side of Republican leadership, often voting against party priorities and positioning himself as a libertarian-leaning independent voice. While some conservatives admired his willingness to buck the establishment, Trump clearly saw him as more of an obstacle than an asset and Tuesday’s results suggest Kentucky Republican primary voters agreed.
Trump celebrated the Gallrein victory Tuesday night, and White House Communications Director Steven Cheung had a pointed message ready for any remaining RINOs who might be wondering if they’re next.

Do not ever doubt President Trump and his political power. Fuck around, find out.
