(DC Pundit) – A Canadian woman living in New Jersey, apparently so consumed by rage over a teenager’s clothing choices, walked up to a young girl on a boardwalk and slapped her across the face. Twice. Why? Because the girl’s sweatpants said “Trump” and “ICE” on them.
Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, a Canadian native living in Allenhurst, New Jersey, was charged with simple assault, endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and obstruction following the July 3 incident on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Tracey began repeatedly yelling at a teenage girl and her three friends over their patriotic-colored sweatpants bearing the words “Trump” and “ICE.” Rather than walk away like a reasonable adult, Tracey kept approaching, harassing, and verbally berating the group of teenagers. She then struck the victim twice, once on her body and once in the face, before walking off.
When Point Pleasant Beach police officers attempted to stop her, she refused. Surveillance camera footage verified the incident, and authorities identified Tracey through a combination of social media posts and passport information she provided to federal customs and border protection officers when she entered the United States in 2024.
Tracey turned herself in on the morning of July 13 and was taken into custody without incident at police headquarters before being transported to the Ocean County Jail.
Here’s where the story takes a deeply satisfying turn: jail records show that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has filed a detainer in the case. A woman who physically attacked a teenager for wearing pro-ICE clothing now has an ICE detainer on her. What a perfect example of consequences coming full circle.
Following Tracey’s arrest, a man identifying himself as her husband took to social media in a lengthy, tearful rant pleading for help. One can only imagine the conversation that preceded that post.

This is what Trump Derangement Syndrome looks like when it fully metastasizes. A grown woman, a guest in this country, who cannot walk past a teenager without physically attacking her over political clothing. A child. On the Fourth of July weekend. In America.
The left loves to lecture conservatives about tolerance, inclusion, and the dangers of political violence. Maybe start with the Canadian import who punched a kid in the face over sweatpants.
